Versatile Yet Challenging with AI Perks

  • April 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the mix of flexible and structured elements in Notion, allowing me to do a lot within the format and databases. I also appreciate the AI assistance, as I can just dump all my ideas onto a page and ask it to organize them for me. And I like AI agents, even though I'm still figuring out how to use them more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is very steep for Notion. When I first downloaded it, I was very confused and didn't end up using it. Even later on, it remained very challenging and takes time to learn. There's a lot of resources available, which is nice, but sometimes you just don't know what exactly you're looking for because there are hidden gems, basically. It's not easy to get started with all the capabilities, and it's hard to figure out what you actually want. I started with templates, and even though it's been working out okay, I still have to figure out the way that works for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion lets me manage everything in one place with automations and AI assistance, which is great for my solo business.

Versatile and Intuitive, but UI Needs Tweaks

  • April 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion really easy to edit and make comments, and the user interface was quick to learn. Changing the status of projects en masse is easy, and it is really useful in recovering notes that I've dismissed accidentally. We've set up project instructions, checklists, and editing projects within Notion, so it's pretty versatile. I've never encountered an issue with Notion, even when we've changed processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I mentioned accidentally deleting comments in the past; I feel like some of the icons could be bigger or further apart from each other. At least the way we have it set up, projects have Comments sections with an icon bar for Reactions, a Resolve checkmark, and dots for other options. These are really close together and small, making them easy to click accidentally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to edit, make comments, and change project statuses. Notion's user interface is quick to learn, versatile for setting up instructions and checklists, and helpful in recovering accidentally dismissed notes.

  • April 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion as a source of truth that can be easily collaborated on with others. It solves problems for me with collaboration and offers decent flexibility for creating written artifacts. I appreciate the pretty good spread of formatting and layout options for data. The information I create can be somewhat complex and needs to be easily consumed by others, and Notion is pretty good at allowing this.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be nice to have more control over some styling attributes like spacing, styling within table cells, or allow the creation of grids of content
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for collaboration and flexibility in creating written artifacts. It's great for making complex information easy to consume and serves as a collaborative source of truth.

  • April 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Notion helps me organize and categorize tasks, teams, and projects with deadlines and mentions to keep everything working well. The platform and interface stand out to me, and I appreciate how easily folders can be created. The templates offered by Notion are adaptive and fit any need nicely. I also find it valuable that it can link to other platforms for referencing information, and I sometimes connect it to Drive. Additionally, the initial setup was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's easy to use, but when I create a lot of folders and spaces, it can be tedious to find them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize and categorize tasks, teams, and projects with deadlines and mentions, keeping everything in line.

Adaptable, Easy-to-Use Notion with a Truly Helpful AI Assistant

  • April 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is adaptable to my personal situation and needs. It is easy to use, but powerful in features. It integrates with other tools and utilizes AI in a helpful way. The AI is more than a chatbot, but a true assistant in creating, updating, and editing content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion needs a stronger content management system that lets users browse and scan through pages without having to rely on keyword searches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is my go-to solution for managing my task list, and it also makes it easy to take notes and link related information together.

Intuitive and Efficient with Room for Improvement

  • April 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Notion for its easy and clean UI, which makes it easy to use across all platforms. The availability on all platforms is a significant plus for me. I find the AI and agent functionality particularly valuable, as I can ask Notion AI anything about my database and assign tasks to notion agents. It's like having an employee do the job for me. The initial setup of Notion was very easy, which was the best experience I've had.
What do you dislike about the product?
They don't have the ability to handle large databases. It slows down. Also, in mobile it would be nice to have a click-to-copy feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to manage complex data and automate tasks using AI. It solves most of my work needs and keeps everything organized. I can ask the Notion AI about my database and assign tasks to Notion Agents as if having an employee do the job.

Flexible and Intuitive, Yet Needs Template Improvements

  • April 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for managing projects, to-do lists, sharing documents with teams, and managing feedback from customers and team members. I find it helps create pages easily and in an easy-to-read format, making project consolidation visually readable. I appreciate the lot of templates and flexibility it offers, especially since tools like Google Sheets feel too data-oriented and hard to customize for a visually-oriented person like me. Notion strikes a balance for me, being less cluttered than Miro and easy to understand. It also helps me come up with page layout ideas quickly, allowing me to create pages much faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like if I understood the dataset part more, I could use it much smarter, but not sure about that yet. Using templates is easy but probably I don't understand the core of how it works. So I haven't been able to build my own template. When using Notion templates, there is no option to use a template without value, and I have to delete values manually, which takes time. Even after asking AI, I had to delete manually so it would be great if there is an option to select the template without the values, or with the values. The initial setup was a bit challenging because we didn't understand how to set up a team, so we accidentally created a lot of spaces of our own and duplicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for managing projects, to-do lists, sharing documents, and managing feedback. It helps create pages easily in a readable format, consolidating projects well. Notion's templates and flexibility speed up page creation and offer a balance between data-heavy and cluttered tools.

Centralized Information Hub with Smart AI

  • April 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Notion's AI assistant; it's like our own personal Google search for the company, smartly searching and categorizing information. The ability to segregate private versus employee workspaces is also a big plus, as it ensures that higher management can work with information that the entire company does not need. The initial setup was very easy thanks to online instructions, the user-friendly interface, and a 30-minute video call with a Notion expert.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Notion could be improved with more integration with client-facing sides of the business. Specifically, I'd like the ability to bring information in and out from other applications like global payments POS systems and online stores. It would be helpful if changes made in Notion could be automatically exported to our inventory management system in our POS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a centralized database to replace bookshelves, access internal documents, and for enterprise search. It has a smart AI assistant for categorizing info and segregates workspaces, so management works with needed information only.

A Versatile Tool for Seamless Knowledge Management

  • April 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for work purposes, especially for knowledge management. It's a place where I can combine meeting notes, documents, and databases, making information easy to organize and access. The collaboration tools are a great help too. I love how it adapts to pretty much any workflow I have, and it's easy to structure knowledge in a way that makes sense long-term. Everything stays connected and searchable, which is really important for building a personal knowledge base, documenting processes, or organizing projects. Notion also lets me link pages, create databases, and customize layouts, making it a powerful tool that's better than just traditional note-taking. The initial setup was pretty easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that when it comes to editing the text that you see, it's kind of a hassle to, like, highlight something that you want highlighted and you have to, like, hover over or click or highlight what you wanna highlight, but then you have to go through all of the different little text editing features to be able to highlight different colors in remove it. Like, the task to highlight and unhighlight, change headings, change font sizes, things like that is just it's too time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to combine meeting notes, organize and access information, and manage knowledge. It helps structure knowledge long-term, keeping everything connected and searchable with linking and customization. It's powerful for building personal knowledge bases, documentation, and project organization, surpassing traditional note-taking.
