Effective Note-Taking with Room for Navigation Improvement

  • April 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion helps solve problems like sharing notes and having them in the cloud. I appreciate its markdown import feature, allowing me to create Notion docs without the hassle of copying, pasting, and editing formatting. I also find it valuable that Claude can read, edit, and write files within Notion, identifying necessary edits based on our chats and writing new files for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation is a pain compared to Confluence. I don't know how to find the docs I'm looking for in the sidebar half the time, if they're nestled. I cannot find other spaces like I could in Confluence. Also, Confluence/Atlassian has an expandable component, so I can create expand/collapse sections on my docs that make long artifacts more visually digestible and allow for deeper context for those who want or need it while not overwhelming the majority of readers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for sharing notes and storing them in the cloud. It solves problems for me with its markdown import and allows Claude to read, edit, and write files.

Very Useful for Note-Taking and Summarising Notes

  • April 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very useful for note taking I can summarise all my notes effectively
What do you dislike about the product?
UI/UX: Navigation can feel clunky, especially within nested menus and larger workspaces, making it harder to quickly find pages.

Integrations: Solid overall, but some integrations feel limited or require workarounds compared to more specialized tools.

Performance: Can slow down with large databases or heavy pages, especially on desktop.

Pricing / ROI: Powerful, but pricing can feel high for smaller teams or individuals who don’t use all features.

Support / Onboarding: Good templates and docs, but onboarding can be overwhelming due to the flexibility and lack of clear structure.

AI / Intelligence: Promising features, though still evolving and not always seamlessly integrated into everyday workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps solve the problem of scattered information and disorganized workflows by bringing notes, tasks, documents, and databases into one centralized workspace. Before using Notion, we relied on multiple tools, which led to inefficiencies, duplication, and difficulty finding information. With Notion, everything is structured and easily searchable, improving team collaboration and transparency. It has streamlined project management, reduced time spent switching between tools, and made it easier to document processes and share knowledge across the team.

Insane Flexibility: Clean UI, Powerful Databases, and Seamless Integrations

  • April 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility is insane. You can build literally anything — from a simple personal to-do list to a complex CRM for the whole company. I absolutely love the database features and the seamless integration with tools like Slack and Google Drive. The UI is incredibly clean and distraction-free. Also, their new AI features are actually pretty solid for summarizing meeting notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because you can build anything, starting from scratch can be super overwhelming. If you don't use templates, setting up a good workspace takes a lot of trial and error. Also, the mobile app is still a bit clunky and slow compared to the desktop version. It’s hard to do quick edits on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have our company docs scattered across Google Docs, Trello, and Jira. Notion brought everything into one single source of truth. It saves us hours every week because nobody has to ask "Hey, where is that onboarding document?" anymore. It completely streamlined our team collaboration.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Notion's AI features, including the AI assistant that lets me stay within my notes without needing to switch screens and ask questions about my content. I find the meeting transcript feature super convenient as it automatically detects when I have a meeting and starts transcribing, summarizing, and keeping a raw transcript. I also like the integration with Google accounts. Notion's initial setup was very easy due to its interactive tutorials and the intuitive, straightforward interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think easier toggling between my work Notion account and my personal Notion account as well as the ability to link multiple accounts, my personal and work accounts, so I can have multiple email accounts in calendars, etcetera. And use AI with all of that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to access notes across devices with different structures. The AI and service integrations help me summarize work automatically, enhancing my productivity.
