Centralised Knowledge Hub with Stellar Jira Integration its a single source of truth modern team

  • March 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Confluence's ability to combine structural documentation with seamless team collaboration in a single platform. The intuitive editor and prebuilt templates make it easy to create well-organized content, whether it's technical documentation, meeting notes, or process deadlines. The hierarchical page structure also helps in maintaining clarity and scalability as the documentation grows. Another standout aspect is its deep integration with Jira, allowing direct linking of tickets, embedded project updates, and aligned documentation with development tasks, significantly improving workflow efficiency and traceability. I also appreciate the real-time collaboration and version control feature, which ensure transparency and reduce the risk of conflicting edits. Additionally, the permission management system allows us to control access at a granular level, making it suitable for both internal collaboration and cross-team sharing. Overall, it stands out as a reliable and scalable solution for maintaining a single source of truth while enabling effective team collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
One challenge is content discoverability at scale. As the volume of pages grows, the search functionality can sometimes return broad or less context-aware results, making it harder to quickly locate highly specific or deeply nested information without relying on naming conventions. Another area of improvement is editor performance on larger content pages. Pages with multiple embedded elements like tables, macros, or integrations can occasionally feel sluggish, which impacts productivity when working on detailed technical documentation. Additionally, while the integration with Jira is powerful, the user experience around embedding and customizing Jira data within pages could be more flexible and intuitive, especially for non-technical stakeholders who need a simplified use. Lastly, managing content life cycles, such as archiving outdated pages or tracking stale documentation, could be more automated, introducing smarter governance features like proactive content health indicators or automated review reminders would significantly improve long-term knowledge maintenance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence to centralize knowledge management and collaboration. It solves information fragmentation, improves real-time editing, and aligns documentation with development via tight Jira integration. It also streamlines onboarding by serving as a single source of truth.

What do you like best about the product?
We are using Confluence as our central knowledge repository, where all project-related information is documented and easily accessible to the team. It helps us keep everything structured, transparent, and aligned across different stakeholders.

What I appreciate most about Confluence is its ability to centralize documentation, facilitate collaboration in real time, and maintain a clear history of updates. It also integrates well with tools like Jira, which makes it very effective for managing requirements, tracking progress, and ensuring consistency across projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can feel a bit less intuitive or user-friendly, especially for new users. However, once you get familiar with it, it becomes much easier to navigate and use effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps us centralize all project-related information in one place, reducing the risk of scattered or inconsistent documentation. It solves the challenge of keeping teams aligned by providing a single source of truth that is accessible to all stakeholders.

This benefits us by improving transparency, facilitating collaboration across teams, and ensuring that knowledge is easily shared and maintained over time. It also supports better organization of requirements and documentation, which ultimately increases efficiency and reduces misunderstandings.

Confluence Keeps Our Team Knowledge Centralized and Collaboration Seamless

  • March 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Confluence is how it centralizes all our team knowledge in one place. It makes it really easy to create, organize, and find documentation without digging through emails or multiple tools. The collaboration features, like real-time editing and comments, also make it simple for teams to work together and keep information up to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Confluence is that it can get a bit messy as content grows. If pages and spaces aren’t well organized, it becomes harder to find information over time. The search function works, but it’s not always as precise as I’d like.

Also, some formatting and layout options feel a bit limited compared to more modern editors, and customizing pages exactly the way you want can take some trial and error. It’s a strong tool overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement in usability and structure as your content scales.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps us solve the problem of scattered information and lack of clear documentation. Before using it, a lot of knowledge was stored in emails, chat messages, or different tools, which made it hard to find reliable and up-to-date information.

With Confluence, everything is centralized in one place, so it’s much easier to document processes, share knowledge, and keep information organized. This has reduced the need to repeatedly ask the same questions and has made onboarding new team members smoother.

Overall, it saves time, improves collaboration, and ensures everyone has access to the information they need when they need it.

What do you like best about the product?
I like its detailed permission settings, as it allows us to maintain strict control over sensitive IT documentation. Confluence can handle large volume of content and users without any significant performance issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
As the knowledge base grows, finding the right document becomes harder and heavily dependent on users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Confluence as our knowledge base and our internal IT help desk. In here, we document SOPs for the IT team, setup guides for new hardware, and troubleshooting articles for common employee issues.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it eliminates the need of shared drives and email attachments as it consolidates all our sales collateral, policies, and technical documentation into one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have any clear way to request access to a specific page, if I forget to give someone access upfront.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence to document all our sales processes like lead qualification and opportunity closure. It also helps me in creating detailed how-to guide for our sales team so to define our lead scoring criteria, and maintain a repository of competitive battle cards.

Excellent for Transparent Documentation and Jira Connectivity

  • March 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Confluence for how easy it is to use and how well it connects with JIRA. It helps ensure everything stays linked and accessible to the whole team, which is especially helpful for documentation. As a result, knowledge transfer and day-to-day communication feel smoother and more transparent.

I mainly use Confluence to document requirements, solution designs, and project updates alongside Jira. The integration makes it simple to link tickets directly to the relevant documentation, which helps keep work and context aligned across the team. It’s particularly useful in project environments where multiple stakeholders need access to the same information, because it supports transparency and consistent knowledge sharing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve run into a lot of access issues with Confluence in the past. It’s not always clear who owns a space or page, or where I should go to request access, and some clients can take a long time to respond. Another challenge is keeping content organised as things scale. On larger projects, it can become hard to find the right pages or quickly tell which documentation is actually up to date. Because permissions and ownership aren’t always obvious, I sometimes see duplicate pages or outdated content sticking around. The search functionality could also be more precise, especially when you’re dealing with a large number of pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence for documentation, ensuring implementation and information for clients are documented, and making knowledge transfer transparent.

Flexible documentation with small hurdles

  • March 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I particularly like the flexibility that Confluence offers in creating pages. There are many features, add-ons, and plug-ins that can be integrated, allowing the pages to be organized and customized according to current needs. I find these powerful features great. Additionally, it is helpful that I can structure content well through pages and subpages, which is super helpful for organizing everything smartly and quickly finding the relevant things. Confluence is really helpful for documenting knowledge, such as guides to specific tools or processes that are relevant internally for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
What sometimes bothers me are the smart links that simply don't work with some links. Sometimes, instead of a smart link, only a normal link is inserted, and I can't understand why that happens. Additionally, I find it annoying that I can't set the font sizes directly. I can only manipulate them through the different formats, which I don't understand for such a flexible tool. The formatting functions could definitely be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence solves the problem of a central knowledge repository for me, making documented information easily accessible and clearly organized in one place for team members. It facilitates collaboration by helping to create a clear overview and neatly document information.

Easy-to-Use Formatting and Handy Nested Page Structures

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It has lots of good and complete formatting options that are easy to use. It's also very convenient to make nested page structures, which can be very useful for certain workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search isn't as good as it could be. Ultimately, without really good search, it's almost impossible to get significant value out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to keep documentation, some product documents, and runbooks in a single, unified location, accessible and updateable by anyone, together.
