Easy Team Documentation with Seamless Jira Integration

    Reviewed on May 17, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to use for documentation and sharing with the team. It supports tables and images, and the integration with Jira is seamless, which makes it especially helpful for engineering.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a long time to load, especially the side navigation. Still no AI help in writing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing documentation with the team has been straightforward and helpful.

Confluence Keeps Our Team Aligned with Clear, Shareable Documentation

    Reviewed on May 16, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I believe Confluence truly brings my whole team together; any PM can read RCA docs or the Tech solutioning doc written by the Engineering team to know deeper about any product.

    Especially amazing with large organisations,
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think I can think of anything major.

A minor UX change would be clubbing team-level documents together and notifying the user so I can proactively get updated about things being built in my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again, bringing the whole org together.

It's one common place where Engineering, Data Science, and PMs can come together and read documentation of all sorts.

The Living Single Source of Truth for Complex Technical Environments

    Reviewed on May 15, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Confluence is how effectively it serves as a living, single source of truth. Its native, bi-directional integration with Jira keeps our project tracking and technical documentation aligned, so they don’t drift out of sync. With modern Atlassian Intelligence features that provide instant summaries, plus a robust macro engine, we can maintain strict technical governance while still making the documentation easy to navigate and accessible for non-technical stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
The permissions management architecture comes with a steep learning curve. Setting up granular access control—especially when I’m trying to securely isolate spaces for external stakeholders or guest vendors—feels tedious and often requires ongoing auditing to make sure nothing is accidentally exposed or leaked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps us solve the problem of siloed, tribal knowledge. With a centralized, easy-to-search wiki, we’ve been able to document our core standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical playbooks in one place. As a result, onboarding new hires is much faster, and business continuity no longer depends on any one person being available.

Easy Process Documentation with Strong Version History and Audit Trails

    Reviewed on May 14, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Maintaining process documentation is very easy on the Confluence. I also appreciate the audit trail of changes that is logged and how previous versions of it can be accessed to be able to build a defensible answer to external regulatory audit questions raised on an investigation
What do you dislike about the product?
Since the introduction of Rovo AI on the Atlassian products - especially Confluence, the loading of the documentation takes a long time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence has made asynchronous updates very easy in a globally mobile team like mine. Everyone ends up on the same page with scheduled updates

    Solid Tool, But Naming Limitations

    Reviewed on May 08, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like the integration with Jira because it allows me to automate the monthly report directly to Confluence based on Jira tickets. The analytics for pages are helpful as I can see if the page is popular or not. Confluence is also much more solid and user-friendly compared to Mediawiki, which we used before.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't reuse the name for the page. For example, when I have Service 1 and Service 2 pages and try to create the page 'Intro' in the second nested page (Service 2 -> Intro) I got an error that 'Page already exists', so it requires a more complicated naming for pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence to keep internal documentation and provide IT support articles. It helps me organize documentation and manage the knowledge base.
