Great tool for documenting processes, planning and internal communications
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature for Confluence is the ability to create difference spaces for different groups or teams. For instance, you can have separate knowledge bases for marketing, sales and developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a big fan of the UI, I feel like it could be organized better. Sometimes it takes 4-5 clicks to get somewhere I feel should be easier to get to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Confluence solves is documenting repeatable, complex steps. For instance, from a development perspective we have a documented process when making changes to a production server. Now when the task needs to be completed step by step guide to complete the task correctly and efficiently.

The editing tools have allowed my organization to really make it our own. There's spaces for all of our work, and each department has been able to use it for things like weekly meetings up to project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve to using it well. Almost feels like Wikipedia or Wordpress, where the customization can be daunting if you don't know what you want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using multiple systems to document our work (Google Drive, our previous internal site, Salesforce.) With Confluence, our different tools are all linked together. Everyone in the organization can easily see what everyone else is working on (at a high level, at the very least.)
