Great product
What do you like best about the product?
Great for project management. Store multiple projects at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really no issues in my experience. Though I am not a power user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for collaboration.
Confluence makes it easy to share information with colleagues, but has some frustrating bugs.
What do you like best about the product?
With Confluence, employees throughout our company can share information with each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you actually care about formatting, Confluence has some frustrating bugs in things like list indenting, doesn't handle copying/pasting from external sources very well (I often have to paste into a text editor to remove any hidden characters first, and then copy/paste that into Confluence). Also, setting up links to anchor links can be very frustrating, if you're trying to link to a page outside of the "space" that your working in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing of mission critical business information, like project requirements and market research; also, Confluence provides a place for us to document and ultimately settle decisions.
Excellent Collaboration Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive and clean approach to team collaboration and organization. Easy to create content and navigate through pages. Tagging functionality is easy to assign work and keep track of responsibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Open-ended and freedom can create chaos if not appropriately governed and controlled. Search functionality is average, so the more the platform is used the more deliberate users must be about how they organize, tag, and use pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is great for it's intended purpose: collaborating across teams. It's had problems when we've used it to do more than that, mainly as acting as a document repository.
Great for collaborating on system upgrades
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate with different departments that are taking part in the system upgrade and have everything in a central location. Also, the flexibility to customize
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature could be improved, hard to find what you're looking for sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have an internal system that requires updates and use confluence as a run book.

Great way to collaborate
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to tag my teammates is very helpful - skips having to emailing my team about specific posts that they need to read. Also having ways to integrate certain features like Google Sheets is also handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new layout took some getting used to but with practice it's gotten better. Not as intuitive as the older layout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized knowledge base for internal teams.
It’s okay
What do you like best about the product?
Sasy to navigate when you know exactly what you’re looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
Organizing gets tricky. If there is a lot of information, you have to be sure to label accordingly and organize it for ease of use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is used as a knowledge base that holds information that we as customer support agents need in order to do our jobs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Organization is key and searching for keywords will be your easiest trick yet.

we can edit the page as and when the information adds in. liked the ease of access to the page. the data bulletins were on right place to navigate
What do you dislike about the product?
its like a big page document to read through. may a fodler type would realy helpful to get into right kind of docs. nothing much to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
easy to collborate with team and making the sharing efforts easy and reliable in one common place
Recommendations to others considering the product:
would recommend other users to use the confluence to ease use within team to share contents
Eh.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaborative environment. I can see who made changes and audit the changes that were made. It's a good tool for sharing documentation and software updates, and links nicely into JIRA to review details of bugs and enhancements
What do you dislike about the product?
The search functions are terrible! It is impossible to find an article if you do not have an exact match on a couple words in the title. It would likely work better if everyone in the organization used the tag feature appropriately, but let's be honest... that won't happen. Until the search function can easily match strings in quotes from anywhere in the article and show more relevant/closer match results at the top, this isn't helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration is the main problem we seem to have solved. Everyone uses Confluence, regardless of role. Everyone has access and can occasionally find what they're looking for - assuming it's "saved for later" or is an article you personally wrote.
