Confluence helps us keep information up to date
What do you like best about the product?
we use confluence for landing pages for different customers. Rather than wait for the web design team to update pages, we control the content. We can update any time as needed. And, anyone on the team can make updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see a downside to this. We can add links, attach documents, insert graphics; we can basically use this platform to provide all of the onboarding information that customers need. I also don't know of a peer platform that offers this same functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem was updating landing pages. We had to send requests to web team, wait for them to review and them update. Instead, we can update our own content at our convenience. This allows us to keep the content updated, and allows us to quickly respond to customer feedback.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please try it, You will be glad you did. It is very intuitive and has great functionality, and will help you take control of your messaging.

Using it purely as a knowledge base for service desk.
Intuitive internal & external documentation
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of ability to “lock” and “unlock” spaces within confluence. We can create documentation and easily toggle whether it’s internally facing for registered users in our ecosystem, or externally facing for our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The entire Atlassian suite (at least what we use - Confluence, Jira) seems to work much better on certain browsers than others. Small hurdle but can be annoying at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
He ability to easily maintain a repository of information that’s easier and more appropriate to share publicly (than google docs, for example)
Fun and exciting

I Would like to be involved more often; I enjoy a good walkthrough
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how I lose my place surfing through the app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve seen the material and can clarify it’s simple and straight forward
Helpful from a business perspective, hassle for developers
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is like Google Docs on steroids. It is a collaborative digital workspace that allows you to integrate directly into your other Atlassian Products. You can tag your Jira items and create live metrics to track your progress
What do you dislike about the product?
If your developers are already working in JIRA, asking them to also update confluence is a big task. It does integrate pretty seamlessly but needed a lot of work from the business team to get it set up initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content management has been a big issue especially with the high turnover of contractors in our company. Confluence allows us to receive documents in real time and store them on a cloud so they never get lost.

Difficult to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
It did a great job of allowing multiple resources for multiple parties to be in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be difficult to use the search function - it required too specific of searches. It also tried too hard to be like a social media platform for collaboration. It made it muddled and difficult to use; not user friendly, even after the update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was nice for administration to be able to post necessary information so all users could have one source for reliable information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It was became high cost and difficult to navigate. The new changes they implemented recently made it more difficult, but my company discontinued use shortly thereafter, not allowing me to get used to the changes.
