Confluence does exactly what it is supposed to do, and does it well

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence helps our team keep a collection of all our templates and documentation - which helps our workflow be as efficient as possible. It is easy to access and share the documentation quickly. As our agents have to be very broad in solving support cases, it is absolutely necessary to keep a database of processes and templates for customer engagement. The comment function is also a great way of communicating and discussing the workflows, which is a great way to get the whole team involved. The tools for creating documentation are also what you would expect from a tool like this. Overall, Confluence has helped our team achieve a more consistent and efficient workflow, which is critical to our brand perception.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is not the most intuitive software to use, it isn't the easiest to navigate. The UX could be improved to make documents even easier to find quickly. Also, the search function could be improved by having more options for a customized search result prioritization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can gather all our information and FAQs in or place, and it is easy to share all the written articles using tools like Slack, etc. As our agents have a high workload, with hundreds of cases being created on a daily basis - a tool like Confluence is absolutely necessary to guarantee quick and high quality of customer support. It has replaced Google docs and sheets as our way of sharing documents regarding workflow and case management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should get this tool

It does a very good job organizing all the documents

What do you like best about the product?
We use Confluence along with JIRA and value the manner in which it coordinates. A conjunction is incredibly adaptable. We use it for things like venture following and wiki. this is a regularly incredible programming for distributing arrangements/refreshes/systems. I misuse it for giving bookkeeping arrangements like cost repayment or travel and amusement. Simple to utilize and share all through the corporate.
What do you dislike about the product?
While making a zone, pages would have a far superior intrigue if the designing was a touch progressively vigorous. Right now, there are a few layouts that will be doled out anyway organizing content on the formats, including pictures, resizing and arrangement of the photos are frequently a touch awkward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The general experience is amazingly worthy. Managing the area from both security and substance point of view includes an exceptionally little expectation to absorb information. the ability to make classifications available spaces might be an or more. you'll have a site space for the documentation, groups, and information area cooperation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Extraordinary experience. I'm commonly acceptable at learning on new programming, so for me, it had been all acceptable, but it's very intricate. Confluence is clear to utilize and discovered. it's a natural interface that makes sharing archives between groups without any problem. It can make code of scraps, tables, content editing.

Basically you do not need to move out of the document to see the status of the Jira ticket or Bug, everything is accessible at one place.
Helps transform Jira dashboard to Pages and helps in customization, plug-ins like EazyBi , gliffy diagrams, etc

    Management Consulting

A modern platform for project collaboration.

  • June 29, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence makes it very easy to create pages and space for you to organize documentation for your projects. It also helps you with multiple macros to include files, images, multimedia sources, etc. all in one page. It's integration with Jira adds the cherry on top of the cake. Visually, all elements and text are easy to consume. Quick shortcuts to add dates, tasks, etc. make it a great tool with many apparent and hidden capabilities. All in all, it is a modern tool that is worth a try.
What do you dislike about the product?
A truly modern tool provides capabilities without having the user navigate a ribbon or toolbox to find the right setting. Almost all options for confluence such as adding a row to the table, or changing the font, etc. are placed at the top in a ribbon. This is not ideal. While it keeps things uniform, it makes the user spend time going through unnecessary options that are less likely to be used. Instead, it would be great to see relevant options (e.g. for a table) appear next to it in a box when the table is selected. Visually, it is nice and easy to consume but Confluence should experiment by adding more appealing fonts and page layouts. Speaking of layouts, pages with multiple sections crop the elements within them based on the size of the window. However, this should be scaled to size instead of cropped. Some work needs to be done with the resizing of elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is great to document project work, store files and collaborate. Confluence is very easy to access and the ability to restrict certain pages helps carry out all work on one platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have used SharePoint in the past and liked the concept, then Confluence would be a good upgrade if you are comfortable with change.
