Great program for doing presentations and hosting meetings!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the share screen & sound feature -- it allows for such a great quality experience when I can utilize this feature that's not available on all platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've only been a part of one sesssion when there was a session bomber. Other than that I've liked it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think Zoom solves the problem of having visual aids when I need to during presentations or groups.
I use Zoom every other day and it's great
What do you like best about the product?
Recording and waiting room. It's very efficient and helpful for the line of work. The recordings go to your computer or the cloud and it's easy to download.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it crashes and it's slow when there are many people in the room
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual auditions for casting directors. The waiting room is similar to those of the real casting offices.
Zoom is a wonderful platform for video and audio communication
What do you like best about the product?
Clear audio and crisp video. Nice features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it if there was a way to make chat save and be available to everyone joining late -- plus persistent across ongoing meetings. It would also be nice to be able to save files and other attachments to a recurring meeting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solves the problem of location by making it easy for teams to come together despite location and or safety concerns. I've enjoy zoom meetings with people all over the world
Zoom = A Place to Meet When There Is No Place
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of Zoom. Setting up meetings is easy and then once the meetings are happening it moves smoothly. Adding people in is easy. I am grateful that I have Zoom so I can meet with as many people as we want. We even used Zoom once to do a "Congratulations" Graduation event. That was amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Zoom had another way of doing "Chat" It can become almost the dominant feature and when one is doing "chat" it goes to all persons. I would like some windows to be minimized or not at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solves the problem of having to get in a vehicle and driving somewhere and sitting in a meeting with others. I appreciate the collaborative work that can be done over Zoom.
Mostly Great With a Few Exceptions
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to meet face to face with anyone across the globe. I also really like all the video features such as enhancing eyebrows, lip color, face touch-up, etc. It makes it easier to Zoom when I know I don't have to look perfect because Zoom will give me a little appearance boost if I want it to. I wish the blur background or the faux background feature would work on my Macbook Pro but sadly it doesn't. But I think it's a great feature for those it does work for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I notice the time clock seems to have been moved or disappeared altogether. This was helpful in seeing at a glance how long I have been on a call with someone. Also, as I understand it anyone on a group Zoom can download the chat transcript will INCLUDE PRIVATE CHATS between members. To me, this is a major drawback if that's how it still works. Major. Drawback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows me to do more speaking engagements because since COVID so many groups, associations and businesses have switched to online / Zoom meetings as a regular part of business. I have spoken for more groups virtually during COVID than I would have done in person. It also allows me to meet with clients weekly and run my coaching practice as a fulltime nomad.
Zoom Works and is Dependable
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is generally simple enough to use and has built a product that is stable and dependable. Quality is always good. Good human factoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom has begun adding too many features and functions that are nice but add overhead to the basic need for videoconferencing. Need to keep it simple and clean.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a 100% remote organization, so Zoom provides us the capability to be connected day in, day out so that we can operate as a business and accomplish building a digital grantmaking foundation. We use Zoom to meet with grantees, partners; plan and decide, develop and troubleshoot, and occasionally to just meet and have some fun together.
It's user friendly and has never been complicated to understand unlike other virtual meeting sites
What do you like best about the product?
I think the ease of being able to join meetings is one of the most appealing things. You press on the link and automatically join the meeting without having to confirm too many things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how it is not very easy to identify when your sound is on when joining a meeting. It looks very different when you join on your mobile device and your computer, it'd be nice if icons were larger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I first started using Zoom the feature for background noise was not available, so the fact that they have solved the issue to adjust your background noise has been helpful.
Zoom - My go-to for meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has multiple functions and all the features you could want in a meeting software. I also love how easy it is to troubleshoot the auto and video.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not really anything I don't like - I do wish there were more background filters
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solves the issue with difficult software - its infuriating when it takes forever to download or open a meeting software.
Zoom makes virtual meetings incredible
What do you like best about the product?
I like the functionality. It's intuitive, and I can do many things to make a session interactive. For instance, I can put participants in breakout rooms, we can have whiteboards, and people can chat or ask questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the platform changes frequently without notification. For instance you'll log in and suddenly a feature isn't there, or it isn't where you thought it would be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had used Zoom a bit before the pandemic. I started a new coaching business (both individual and team), and if anything Zoom made it possible no only for me to do my work, but for me to really build this business.
Zoom has been am amazing platform to stay connected to my clients.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the reliability of the technology. Very user friendly.amenities. I was able to navigate and figure out how to fully function in no time at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a little more cloud storage available with the pro plan. The next plan up allows for more cloud storage, but is way more than I need in other ammenities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During covid I had to reinvent myself as an online teacher when I had to close down my studio. It let me create a whole new way of continuing to hold space for my yoga community.
