Zoom provides critical video conferencing infrastructure, with no bells and whistles
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom feels like the go-to option for video conferencing, so its popularity is a helpful in terms of familiarity and ease of use to make the connection with someone. Also, it feels simple to use and gets the job done
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of integration with other tools (e.g., Microsoft Office), or Slack feels like an opportunity to improve. Also, the user interface can be frustrating - on one hand, the Zoom control window always appears in a separate view when sharing the screen which adds confusion. Also, the default views for Zoom are not intuitive, and I wish I could easily minimize windows via the top right corner but instead I have to exit full screen mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problem is a simple way to connect two parties via video conferencing. This is helpful when two people have different suites (for example, one team is Office based and the other Google based)
Great Experience with Zoom
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy but is powerful. It can do so much if you want to use it to its fullest. Zoom ISO is amazing and getting better. I integrate it with ECamm for a wonderful experience and it is nice that it plays well with others. The flexibility it gives me is terrific and getting better with each release.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the resolution was better for non-Enterprise accounts. One area of improvement, at least for me. This may be niche. I would like the be able to segment observers to a call from the person I am interviewing. That way, the respondent does not see the other people, namely, clients, in the room. I do this now by a bit of juggeling in Ecamm, etc but it would be nice if it was native.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I conduct interviews in Zoom now that we had Covid and have built a small studio around it. My respondents know it and access it easily as well. It is the next best thing without being in the room with them.
Zoom Truly Has Helped Me Grow
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly one of my favorite features is that I get both a video and audio file. This has given me the flexibility to create both YouTube and Podcast episodes all using the same file.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hmmm.... Honestly I'm not sure that I actually dislike anything about zoom at this time. As long as my internet connection is stable it's stable. No major errors. Even when I miss up and my recordings don't process it saves the file and I can try again. No complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the problems it solved really was how do I create a YouTube Video and Podcast video without needing all this equipment. Since the file is saved in two formats it resolves that issue. I've been able to connect with clients virtually which is great for me since I'm a single mom and don't always have a sitter to work with. Sharing my screen, and recording myself has been easy and helps me reach more people.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has literally changed the way I conduct my business. Being a realtor during the pandemic, I was faced with challenges when it came to connecting with my clients and zoom provides a seamless platform where I can connect with others without missing a beat.
What do you dislike about the product?
As much as zoom is great when it comes to connecting with others, it's still not as great as being in person and face-to-face.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No issues currently

What do you like best about the product?
Our company has used Zoom for 7 years. Zoom felt like a hidden secret before 2020 because the ease of use and excellent video quality was, and continues to be, excellent!
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if we could use Zoom to connect to other video meeting services. Having to switch between Zoom, and other vendors like Webex and Teams, is cubersome. It would be great if these solutions worked together somehow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to spend a significant amount of money and time traveling for meetings. With Zoom we can avoid the expense of travel, and also avoid purchasing expensive (old-fashioned) video conferencing infrastructure.

hat, whiteboards, and zoom rooms to get meetings done in a variety of ways. I have found the interface for accessing meeting recordings to be a significant feature that allows people to get caught up if they miss a meeting. It also allows us to do training on demand style, and the program seamlessly works with how we communicate meetings with each other and the public.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps take notes and provides a recording of the meeting itself. It allows us to look back and see what was said and when with the recordings in the cloud. We find it very easy to use and share files with those who need to be updated.

Making a virtual team possible
What do you like best about the product?
Our organization is national. Zoom allows us to meet and see each other which makes our organization work more efficiently and creates a sense of community.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom itself doesn't really have a downside. Any issues are usually from outside sources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows a national team the opportunity to meet face to face. That is a huge benefit to us.
A robust communications tool
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom can accommodate any virtual meeting, whether you need to meet with one person or hundreds. The sharing feature is easy to use and works well. Meetings are quick and easy to create. It's easy to chat with other participants either individually or to the entire group, and clicking on participants shows you everybody in the meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the free version of Zoom would allow longer than 40 minute calls. I wish there was an inexpensive non-profit account that would allow multiple staff on that single account. I wish the computer servers weren't in China.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have employees working from home and some in the office, so it's great to have everybody see each other's face each week in our staff meeting. Our board meetings include elderly directors who can attend every meeting without having to fly across the country.
Great for distance learning
What do you like best about the product?
Face-to-face interaction with my music students even when they are unable to be in the studio. This allowed me to continue lessons even during the pandemic lockdown.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lag time makes it impossible to play music together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
N/A in my situation while I have used and appreciated the updates as they came about, they really had no affect on the way I used Zoom.
