Overall, enjoy features of Zoom and ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom's ease of use has been helpful as well as reliability of the software. It is a solid backup if another video conferencing platform is not working. The features are great, too, and I enjoy the layout of Zoom, as compared to other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the software signs me out of one device if I sign into Zoom on another device and I have to log back in to use it. I also disliked the update that limited 1:1 free calls to 40 minutes. I was forced to upgrade last-minute, as there was no notification of this change and I was conducting an hour-long training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is helpful at being reliable and a platform that is easy for everyone to use. If I cannot connect with someone via a software used by our business, I know Zoom will always work.
The iPhone of web meeting tools
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very intuititve to use. I can easily add a Zoom in my Gmail without opening another window. Its superior in that you can screen share but still see the person(s) you're screen sharing with.
What do you dislike about the product?
If a computer was used by another Zoom user their name is sometimes listed instead of mine on my Zoom. Only a consideration if multiple folks use the same device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping my business running even with COVID closures. Making me more efficient with my time by giving me a way to meet with prospects without wasting time commuting to meeting locations.
Zoom or bust!
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Setting up a meeting is simple and everyone knows how to use Zoom. I can set up a meeting where there is zero friction to joining, which I just can't do on other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes scheduling a meeting in the app can be a little buggy. I like to have a meeting passcode instead of a waiting room, and sometimes when I select that option, it still thinks I need a security option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meeting with people who aren't in our office – without having to go to their office! We have a weekly meeting with some of our team members who are in the field, and they're able to join without needing to stop what they're doing to commute to a meeting.
Easy way to stay connected virtually
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, video and sound quality are the main things I appreciate with Zoom. I also love the recurring scheduling feature and the integration with Google calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the screen share limitation is the only thing I can think that i dislike. I wish there was an option to set up a meeting with allowing to share before the meeting starts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our employees are remote, and zoom solves the problem of not having to be in an office to meet with each other. We set up a zoom office and work with each other all day.
All around a great tool!
What do you like best about the product?
At this poing its been a while since its been a leader in its category so I would say that most people will use it without major complications. Other tools like Teams is not as intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Im not a fan of the "Dashboard Interface" at least in Mac it gets lost while on a call. It should be a part of the interface and not require multiple windows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its allowing for a faster response with a client. Especially when sharing screen and explaining visually things to another client/user.
Allows You to Focus on Work
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is mostly straightforward and allows you to focus on communication, not medium. Chat allows for side conversations and feedback. I've seen breakout rooms used but have not implemented that in my meetings yet
What do you dislike about the product?
Some platforms are more challenging to log in from, and general technical requirements make less stable internet connections more difficult than I'd like. Having a less resource-heavy option for these users would be a great addition
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Group communications with colleagues all over the globe allows my company and clients to communicate seamlessly and keeps the focus on improved business situations.
Zoom works fine
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is quite a bit more intuitive than other similar tools. The screen share, audio sharing, recording, and chat save features are especially useful and not well-replicated elsewhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using Zoom on a team, it can be difficult to onboard new staff to some of the more useful aspects of the tool. This includes live streaming, accessing recordings, and setting up registration pages for virtual events. There are also a lot of aspects of Zoom that are nickel and dimed (number of participants, number of org seats, concurrent meetings, etc). The limited storage space for recordings is also incredibly annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a consistent platform for day to day work (meetings) as well as for broader virtual events and external meetings. It also makes presentations flow well.
Reliable, user-friendly video conferencing platform and remote work staple.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way Zoom touches up my appearance on video calls, making me feel comfortable and presentable. I can also easily access it on all my devices and never experience friction in the experience as opposed to Zoom alternatives like Microsoft Teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any major dislikes. The only issue I've ever had was the cost increase for the Zoom webinar upgrade. The cost is significantly higher for a webinar add-on than it was a couple years ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is facilitating seamless face-to-face interactions with my colleagues and clients all over the world. Having a designated virtual conference room allows me to easily set up and manage necessary work meetings.
Excellent video calling platform for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Ease to schedule meetings; Easy for non-tech savvy people to start using; Very good video and audio quality even on low bandwidth or mobile networks; Video quality is awesome (they make me look better than I look :))
What do you dislike about the product?
Pop-up to admit people could have been better. Also people are waiting in the room but Zoom is slow in showing them in admin room. This feature kills 2-3 minutes of meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less travel; easy to get on people's calendar; Have meaningful conversation than phone as it provides good solid video calling; Easy to share desktop; Easy to manage conversation even in large meetings with mute control by host
Zoom is a MUST have business tool which just works, unlike Teams.
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom's platform just works across devices: Windows 11 Pro, iPadOS, and iOS. Anytime I get a Teams invite I decline and resend the same invite via Zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's too difficult if you have multiple speakers hooked to your computer. There should be a default Zoom setting for 1) Docked, 2) Undocked, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps teams and vendors connected.
