Great way to interact post COVID

What do you like best about the product?
It is very user friendly. We have people on our team that can have difficulty with technology, and they've had a much better time using zoom over webex
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that everytime you login for a call with multiple people you have to have a secuity option. I beleive that some meetings - them having a link should be enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are times that some co-workers are unable to join in-person, but I need them there. This helps reach that goal. This has been the case on multiple occassions.

What do you like best about the product?
The various visual and auditory settings provide are great. You can touch up your appearance, blur your background, and decrease background noise.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you sign in via google or other account, it rarely keeps you signed in after returning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has made it possible for me to keep my job by being able to work from home , and maintain all the features of a workplace, virtually.

Zoom is our go-to platform of choice

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Zoom for years and it has come a long way. It does the basics of video conferencing in a way that's simple and visually appealing. It's easy to use the chat feature and emoji reactions are a nice option. Being able to 'hide' nonvideo participants, pin videos, or view videos in different layouts makes it easier to stay engaged in a video call. I also appreciate the privacy settings as someone who manages Zoom for my company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom went through some bumps during the first year or two of COVID around privacy and updates, but I think they've fixed a lot of that. The cost is on the higher end (though the free Zoom option is very useful for small teams) but their customer service is generally helpful when things go wrong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company is fully remote so Zoom and Slack are the main ways we communicate. We use Zoom for our standing meetings or when we want to hop on a quick check-in. We also use Zoom to chat with partners who are across the US and the world. Zoom also integrates in Slack, Google, and many other platforms.

Good software needs work for slow connections

  • August 29, 2022

What do you like best about the product?
Generally user friendly and offers many ways to connect to a call. Assuming internet is good for all parties, handles large meetings and screen sharing easily
What do you dislike about the product?
When any participant, particularly the host, has a less than stellar connection, this can cause trouble. In addition, the ability to join a call by phone is nice, but this degrades call quality for the others
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom lets me work from home and run a business by collaborating seamlessly with people all over the country and all over the world. Zoom solves the problem of working in different placss

What do you like best about the product?
ZOom is easy to use and easy to integrate. It is great even for small businesses with few employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
THat you can only have a 40 minutes meeting unless you have a license
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During Covid it allowed us to be able to speak to our clients and continue to do our job without many set backs.

Zoom call quality is reliable and professional; the optionality and functionality is superior

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
universality, that everyone can access it, regardless of their familiarity and usage level; As a meeting host, I can run a successful meeting the way I want and facilitate smoothly
What do you dislike about the product?
Connecting to Audio lag, after the video is already established. There's always a period of a few seconds that requires us all to say, "can you hear me now?" that seemingly can be enforced/tested before anybody enters the room/waiting room
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Universal access and acceptability for video conferencing; Its name recognition is important to me and how I run my own business. I work with all of my clients remotely and Zoom gives me the ability to do so

Love zoom.

What do you like best about the product?
the ease of use. It is easy for everyone in every age range. So many people in my company can't figure out a lot of tech stuff, so the fact that both they, and younger employees enjoy and use zoom to the best of their abilities is great. It's so accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes logging in can take a moment. Also integration with the calender gets weird sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working remotely but staying connected as a company is truly invaluable. Zoom fills a much-needed void.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a far superior service to Google or Microsoft products. and consistent in connectivity and features throughout the platform. Highly recommend to other
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had more options in pricng plans for midsize groups and reporting (especially for sales teams) that would allow us to determine usage better and adoption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
in this virtual world, being able to connect with clients and share information with them visually as well as verbally is very important-Zoom helps us do that easily

From 2-500, Zoom meets all my meeting needs

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that everyone is familiar with Zoom now, there is a very small learning curve (even for older participants). This familiarity helps speed things up so we can get to the purpose of our meeting. I've hosted meetings with up to 500 participants and used breakout rooms, and it wasn't a hugely convoluted process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hacking that was happening at the beginning of 2020 was problematic and definitely made getting some users comfortable using the platform difficult. The backend of meetings and events can be convoluted sometimes and not very user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's expensive to host an event with hundreds of people. Being able to host and record virtual events is a huge benefit that is saving us time and money and also allowing our members who wouldn't usually be able to afford to travel to join trainings they would have previously missed.

Its a reliable to way to connect that is the closest you can be to in person.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use. You can add other hosts.
What do you dislike about the product?
When in presentation mode or ppt mode, it would be helpful to still see all the people in the call as the presenter. I have a large screen, so my computer screen can handle it. I would like to be able to see the expressions as I present. It would be a great to have a raise the hand button and then people could get into an ordered cue line to ask a question.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual is so convenient. Google, MS Teams are not as robust or intuitive. I can connect with many more people faster and more efficiently with zoom.
