A reliable video conferencing platform with fun extras!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Zoom is free for one on one and group meetings up to 40 minutes! I often surpass that so I now have Pro, which is pretty affordable. I like the background options and the fun effects we can do like hats and glasses on less serious zooms. I love we can share video and sound for collaboration and jackbox games! I also like the recording feature for important meetings you may need to look back on. Lastly, I like that I have a consistent URL to give clients to join me and it's not changing all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when I open it and click to Start my meeting, it just sits there. It's easy to fix by quitting Zoom and going back in. It would also be nice if Zoom could recognize cat faces instead of just human faces so when they join me, they aren't blurred out like the rest of my background. ;)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I collab visually with my clients for logo design, color palettes, and website imagery and copy - aka visual branding. It helps to eliminate the back and forth critiques via email and gets us to a delightful end result much quicker.
Great for meetings and remote podcasting
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom recordings with noise cancelation are vastly superior to recording phone calls. Even when participants are using basic headsets, the quality is fantastic. Easily switching between audio and video sources and flexibile screen sharing is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Video quality is sometimes lacking and the audio losing sync is distracting. The recorded audio file is sometimes not synced with the video. It sometimes takes awhile for participants to connect to meeting audio.
Viewing participants and shared screens simultaneously does not give a lot of options.
When recording meetings, the processing time means I have to check back on things to make sure it saves.
The audio bitrate is very low.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solved a problem of recording podcasts remotely and not having to sync files. One audio channel that's crisp and clear makes editing much faster.
It also solved having multiple people participate in a video conference and be able to start/pause recording as needed.

Easy to use, the standard for remote meetings
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can create zoom events in the application I am using (calendar, hubspot) without having to go into the zoom application. The choices around passcode authentication and waiting room is also useful, as sometimes I do not want my attendees to be in the meeting before I admit them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I will occasionally be late to a meeting because I opened the zoom link and it insisted on updating the application before it lets me into the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating virtual meetings with people outside the company and with my coworkers. Being able to share my screen and have a good discussion without worrying about having a connection issue.
Best Meeting Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way the admin portal allows our Help Desk technicians easily perform all admin tasks with minimal effort. Users do not report any issues with their meetings and the Outlook add-in is extremely convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's really nothing I dislike with using the Zoom platform. Customer support is great and always attentive when contacted the few times we've had to contact support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is always adding new features. We receive, what seems like, an email every week detailing all the new features coming really soon or already implented. Zoom has made our work from home extremely reliable during the pandemic.
Zoom literally opened my world during the COVID pandemic
What do you like best about the product?
When COVID 19 shut down everything, Rotary clubs around the world despaired as to how they would run their meetings. Zoom to the rescue. Thanks to Zoom, since April of 2020 I have attended Rotary meetings all over the world (Nigeria, Kenya, Mumbai) as well as in my local area. Zoom allowed those of us who live in different countries to meet and to manage business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time lag is difficult, especially when we are trying to sing together. Very often, someone will fade in or out or lose connectivity altogether.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to get people from all over the world together to solve problems or run our Rotary organizations. Most of the groups where I belong could not have happened.
A Reliable, Versatile Platform for Getting Things Done
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to use and very user-friendly. The wide range of tools available make presentations a snap and also allow for the simple sharing of both materials and visuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a drain on system resources, particularly with leaner systems (i.e., Surface/tablet PCs, Chromebooks) that sometimes dictate a hierarchy of resources when presenting (not using Excel sheets, minimize browsers, etc.).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simply put, it is not practical or cost-effective to have live, in-person meetings all the time. Zoom allows for that flexibility and ensures that all users can access our meeting and participate meaningfully.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is so easy to use. The most helpful part about the platform is its user experience. People of any age and any background can use it. I've used other competitors, but they don't even come close.
What do you dislike about the product?
On rare occasions, it has been tricky to join a meeting. This is usually because of operator error. It would be helpful if meeting creators were notified of any specific attendees that haven't joined yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has helped my union get work done remotely, especially during the pandemic. Our team continues to be more productive, and our performance overall has increased.

Zoom is easy to understand and use. ZOOM offers a variety of services and options for therapists.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version only offers 45 minute sessions and limits the number of people on the session. ZOOM is not approved by my company unless it is medical ZOOM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZOOM helps me see clients that are sick or stuck at home because of transportation issues. It has expanded my business.
Love it, always works
What do you like best about the product?
Always works. No video communication platform runs as smoothly as Zoom. Adding the integration to G-Suite has helped to speed up the scheduling process exponentially.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really are not too many downsides. The biggest hassle may be knowing how settings are set for each meeting (can't join without host, who can screen share, etc.)

Being efficient with my time. Having zoom meetings really speeds up conversations that aren't meant to take forever. It's easy to schedule lots of meetings and be efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to conduct client meetings and record them. Very handy for reviews and compliance purposes. Also being able to set up the meeting details and copy and paste them into our own email templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes clients can confuse themselves with the default meeting details. This is why we copy and paste them into our own template that has everything in plain language.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to conduct client meetings that can't be easily done in person. Meetings through Zoom seem to be easier to schedule as participants have no travel time to worry about.
