Zoom Kept Us Going Through COVID

What do you like best about the product?
Rather than just hearing a voice, Zoom allows me to see faces, share screens, share files, field questions in an organized manner, conduct remote meetings and training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Personally, I find using dual monitors challenging — it works well some of the time, but … While I like the ability to let our Bible study teachers use the church's Zoom accounts for their remote class members, I never know when they are going to have to log in and when it will work without logging into the account. I have missed some requests for the log-in code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When COVID-19 struck and we decided to shut down the church temporarily, Zoom allowed many of our Bible study classes to continue. We still have members who have not returned to church functions and Zoom continues to meet that need.

Zoom is the Best for Virtual Meetings

What do you like best about the product?
Love the collaboration we are able to accomplish with Zoom. They are continuously adding new features and app capabilities from within the platform. Zoom has the best audio and video quality, especially for Apple product use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users complain of Zoom not being as easy to use as other platforms like Google Meets or Microsoft Teams. Personally, I think Zoom is the easiest to use and they probably just need a little training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom fosters a productive Hybrid work environment and saves time by hopping on a video call. We have other platforms where task discussion is necessary, but sometimes a problem can be solved much quicker and in a better way if users just hop on a video call to discuss it and get the human feelings into the task at the same time. Zoom helps us connect with clients as well as internally.

What do you like best about the product?
- Convenient
- No hassle
- Accessible via mobile and desktop
- Phone options for those who need to dial in with audio only
- Options to integrate with many different types of systems
What do you dislike about the product?
- Significant limitations on the free plan
- Best experience requires app download
- A lot of options and features (pro and con); add-ons can add up
- Each option has plenty more options (Webinars, Events, Meetings all have separate options and settings to familiarize yourself with)
- Setting up "scheduling privilege" could be a lot easier
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Communication in real-time
- Travel savings; people do not have to come to a physical location to have a productive meeting
- Accessibility in many countries
- Accessibility on many platforms (mobile, desktop, CODEC, etc)

Zoom is Best for Video Meetings

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has the best video and audio quality, and is the most fun way to collaborate with coworkers remotely. They have a great Chat feature that allows you to stick in links and emojis!
What do you dislike about the product?
The security features that only allow someone to enter the meeting either with a password or if they are logged in, or have to be admitted from a waiting room. It makes it harder for participants to join.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Zoom remotely is a great way to have successful meetings, and Zoom periodically provides video conferences to help you get the most from their software. We were able to learn a lot of new things from Zoom the last time we attended a video conference about meetings in a Hybrid work environment.

r the past five months. I never liked working from home. I thought I had to be in the office to work, but Zoom has helped me to work with ease and continue my job with ease.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has solved in-person issues, mediations, and client interviews. I can do it all from Zoom, even better! Time is everything and meeting with someone via Zoom, helps me and my clients understand the case, we can share documents and schedule depositions, mediations, etc, without the cost of travel and additional expenses.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom allows me so much flexibility, I feel that I can teach my students as if we were meeting in person!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could set some of the settings to automatically go where I want them instead of having to set them for every session.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is letting me teach students all over the world, from the comfort of my home!

Zoom Fan For Life

What do you like best about the product?
When we could not get to an office building to conduct business, Zoom brought business to us and allowed us to seamlessly (after we overcame our technological ignorance lol) to do the work we needed to keep our business alive and maintain our livelihood. Thank God for Zoom!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few downsides to using Zoom. I think, for the most part, our dislike comes from the frequency by which some choose to use it for very mundane acts that can be accomplished via email or a chat. Everything does not require a meeting. Finding the right balance is important.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a fully remote employee, Zoom enables physical connections that I no longer have with my colleagues and the ability to review information and documents in real time. The sharing feature is really valuable.

Zoom has now become the preferred online video meeting software for mediators like me

What do you like best about the product?
With Zoom, mediators can now do everything they are used to doing in person with their parties at their office: e.g. Having a waiting room, being able to hold joint and private meetings, or sharing any kind of information (documents, images, videos). Zoom's video quality is excellent, and its interface is very user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was one of the first mediators who, back in 2011, used Zoom for my online mediations. Whenever there was a technical problem, or I needed to get more information, it was easy to pick up the phone and talk with a real Zoom Customer Service Rep. Now that Zoom has become so big and so fast worldwide, that is no longer possible. But I understand… there is no other way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some years ago, some features like live Closed Captioning, were unheard of. Zoom has now made such features, showing not only outstanding technical skills but also great respect for the special needs of some people who participate in a Zoom meeting

Easy to use, even for a tech noob

What do you like best about the product?
I love that people who do not have Zoom can still use the app by clicking on the Zoom link. Even my tech-challenged aunt can use it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs a pretty stable internet connection to use all functionalities.
I also don't like how smart it is with sound, only allowing one screen to give audio at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access!
Love that people all over the world are so much more accessible now. Traveling and working remotely has become so much more normalized through Zoom.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to meet and connect with clients (and friends and family) and run my business from anywhere. I also love how well it integrates with every other tool I use in my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
That disabling attendees' ability to download the chat, also disables the ability to copy and paste anything from the chat. It would be great to have those not lumped together or have the ability to change that on a meeting-by-meeting basis. Anything else I really wish was a part of the app is usually covered and taken care of by the Zoom App Marketplace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has allowed me to run my business remotely (long before the pandemic) and serve my clients in a whole new way. Being able to connect easily with anyone around the world, but also the ability to do remote control and support my clients when they get stuck is huge! Breakout rooms and running events is also amazing.
