This versatile videoconferencing platform meets our needs completely
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom's stable, high-quality video and audio serve our needs for conversation and dialogue extremely well. The interface is intuitive and easy to use, and the company provides comprehensive help files if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The help files/video tutorials for apps such as Miro need to be better. The company may be prioritizing the number of popular app integrations over the support for facilitators who are just beginning to use them. This puts the burden on end users when I think it should be on companies that make the apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems I'm most attuned to involve (1) improving work relationships and (2) supporting thinking that can solve problems. I do not spend time comparing in-person to virtual, because both scenarios seem likely to continue. Zoom does a good job of extending workplace functionality into cyberspace so that people do not have to be in the same place to work together comfortably and Get 'R Done. Astonishingly, this is true at every account tier including the free one. One-to-many webinar functionality was available elsewhere before Zoom but conversation and dialogue were not (there were a few other solutions that were much harder to use).
Zoom's clarity makes it easier to detect body language, and its stability prevents calls from being dropped during important conversations.
The whiteboard's functionality has been enhanced to the point that it not only supports thinking & brainstorming the same way whiteboards on walls do in the office but now extends that capability to colleagues located elsewhere.
The need for more intimate conversations, for colleagues who are shy, fearful, or new to the organization, can be satisfied by using the breakout rooms.

Imperative connection tool for business in the 21st century.
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom allows you to connect in real time with friends and colleagues with an intuitive interface that makes chatting, recording, and managing participants easy. It's incredibly useful for my organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It'd be nice if a host could share participant management controls to make it easier to manage large meetings, and I'm a little weary of the access afford automated note-taking apps that then send automated messages to the group chat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows my coworkers and me to stay connected even though we're globally distributed, making our work proceed more efficiently and with greater focus. On a personal note, it's made it easier to stay connected to friends during the pandemic.
Ease of use and handy as heck for business and social purposes.
What do you like best about the product?
Handy to use, easy to set up, and great for business and social dimensions. Allows for meetings with people around the world. How amazing is that?! I have not used the competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs more adaption to Meta, like using Meta characters instead of real life. Some people that I do business with would like to use Zoom time with me incognito. This would allow for something like this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to use Zoom both through the pandemic and also at the present for seeing clients and going to college was/is EVERYTHING. I am SO grateful that Zoom was here to save me from complete social isolation. You saved me and my anxieties!
COULDN'T have survived pandemic WITHOUT zoom lifeline!
What do you like best about the product?
Kept our teen daughter's depression from overtaking her. Kept us linked in with family & friends. My wife said goodbye to her grandfather who died of covid.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only 1 person can be heard detected at a time. Not good for game time zooms. Only detected whoever had better mic 🎤

Our daughter has been able to continue with ballet only because of zoom.....even today still connected to her Texas ballet coach while we live in California. 2020-CURRENT, she's able to do college from home while dual enrolled she's also a sophomore in high school at the same time. Thanks to zoom!!!!
Very useless and user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Many people use it, easy to access as long as you have the app. Lots of great features when using the professional platform, which is great for big group coaching.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is limited space when downloading content then it has to be removed after a certain amount of time. Would be nice to increase storage space there and allow longer periods to hold in storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For all work-related calls, consultations sessions, group coaching, and discussion projects with my team members, it is very useless in helping us easily navigate through our meetings and sessions.
Zoom was there when we needed it the most.
What do you like best about the product?
I was so excited about zoom before the pandemic hit. I wanted to do start guiding meditations and then bam I had no choice but to go online and I was so thankful to have already known it existed. It's helped me to make my own teaching business a reality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting start on zoom in terms of sound quality was VERY challenging. I had to be able to control voice and music and it took ages to figure out a good balance. Which required buying products that were a wee bit pricey but worth it for now being told often how great my sound it. However there is still issues with video and sound delays which I would love to be able to not have to worry about especially when cueing and movement need to be in sync.

Zoom helped me take my business online. I never imagined what my own personal business could look like. I started by offering free classes and ended up creating full blown programs that I will likely continue to do online for ease and accessibility.
Zoom has opened doors, and made operating and running my financial services business much smoother.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and accessibility for people is huge. I run meetings and appointments through Zoom and sometimes with people who have never used it before. The simplicity makes it easy to bring new people on, as does the scope of compatibility with various devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside when getting started with Zoom was the time limit instilled for meetings with multiple people on the free version. It is an understandable limitation, though. A simpler way of switching between shared content could improve the flow of meetings, as well.

My business was mainly done face to face before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. During the shutdown, we had many doors open through Zoom that we didn't have before. While I still prefer meeting in person, having the ability to conduct business, and help people throughout the country without leaving my office is a huge benefit.
It was good, back before the big Replay and now it's even better
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom works. Period. No drama. I get on, We stay on. Everyone can hear. All quite elegant
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate, hate, hate, how stupidly difficult it is to adjust my photo and lighting. Come on - a bathroom mirror feature to check whether the new ring light makes me look like death eating a cookie? Not hard to improve on the available preview. Also recording is more space and trouble with every upgrade...but I bet it will improve.

We simply would not have made it through the pandemic without zoom. And now we are happier and healthier because we're not going back to work in the office five days a week. Zoom has genuinely improved my quality of life!
The Organizer - My Life Made Ease!
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful /best part about using Zoom is that it's user-friendly. Most of my clients are 60+ and simplicity is key. They can log on with one click and be ready for action. If I use PollEverywhere, my audience can use it on the computer or from their mobile device which is excellent because not all of them are tech-savvy. I use the Business level while conducting business and it is AWESOME! All of my audience fits, including my team. I'm able to control who enters and when. With or without their mics being on and the spotlight feature is the bee's knees. When we are celebrating an accomplishment or birthday or anything exciting, we can put that person in the spotlight and recognize them. The little emojis are sure cute and love that we can choose from a large panel.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least useful thing about Zoom is the whiteboard feature. It could be because I don't need it. I'm really into tech and I like to use things that make my life and career easier. Something else that I'm also not a fan of is the basic package is only allowed 45 minutes. I think an hour would be perfect and convenient. I use the basic level Zoom on my own time to record my podcast videos/interviews. It's annoying to have to end my video and then resume if the segment goes over 45 minutes. I'm sure you would suggest an upgrade but I only use it once a week for my personal things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not sure if this issue is being solved but with the breakout rooms, it would be so much better if we can make them ahead of time and not have to start over the process when more people join the group. I had a slight issue with exporting my mp4 videos. I reached out to Zoom and they gave me options to fix it so I'm happy about that.
Ex: I have 5 pre-named rooms. Once people join the Zoom, I have to refresh the room and the names convert back to Breakout Room 1 - 5 etc etc.

Zoom for a small city and religious use
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of zoom has been fantastic. I use Zoom for municipal meetings and ecclesiastical meetings. The City meetings are seamless. The ecclesiastical meetings involve users who are older and not as comfortable with technology but they have been able to easily use the Zoom platform. We have had as many as 40 people on the broadcast.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not experienced problems with Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During COVID-19 social restrictions, Zoom allowed the City to continue business. It also facilitated meetings that obviously did not require travel.
In the ecclesiastical setting, Zoom has facilitated participation by people who otherwise would not have been able to participate.
