Feature-Rich Yet Slow to Start
What do you like best about the product?
I find Zoom Workplace intuitive, especially with its ease of use and features. The integrations are helpful too, like having my AI notetaker join calls automatically. It lets me focus on the conversation without worrying about taking notes. The calendar syncing is great because it ensures I never miss a meeting or call. The call interface is pretty user-friendly with features like raising hands, clapping, or even saying BRB, plus the option for private or community chat during calls. I appreciate the more extensive feature set compared to Google Meet and that most of my collaborators use Zoom Workplace, making it a convenient choice.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes forever to load, even on my relatively new MacBook Pro laptop, even with it updated. I have to join calls 3-5 minutes early just to ensure I'm in them by the time they start because Zoom, when loading up, is a dinosaur.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace makes it easy to connect with my team, plan video calls, and have virtual conversations. I love the AI notetaker for focusing on calls and calendar syncing to remember meetings.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to integrate and preplan zoom calls into my teams schedule. I am an administrative coordinator and this is a big part of my job. I like the amount of feature it offers, including background blurring, webinar, and direct messaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever I schedule meetings it doesn’t send it to my email, I always have to add my own email after the fact to make sure it shows up on my Google calendar

It enables my team, that is in many different locations, to meet in an accessible way.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Zoom Workplace so easy and reliable to use. It offers so many different options to enhance a meeting, record a meeting, and make it almost as good as having a face-to-face call. I appreciate being able to record meetings and have transcriptions to refer back to, which saves me from scribbling notes and makes things quicker and easier. The setup was very quick and easy, and I love how it integrates with my CRM, helping me to book calls efficiently.

I like how Zoom Workplace keeps communication simple and efficient. The video meetings, chat, and screen sharing make collaboration very easy. The video meetings make it easy to stay connected with my team and my customers, especially when working remotely. Chat helps with quick communication, and screen sharing makes it easier to present ideas and walk through tasks. The initial setup was easy too.

Sometimes the app can lag or freeze during meetings, especially when sharing my screen. Browsing through call logs can be hard as it shows just a small screen or window.

I love using Zoom Workplace because it's always been my favorite platform for its easy access, and I've never had difficulties connecting. I find their recent addition of AI helps me to plan for my calls and as a note taker, it works fantastic at making sure I stay on track with follow-ups. I also love that Zoom ensures I never have more than one appointment by checking all my appointments. It's easy to integrate with all my other platforms like HubSpot, Gmail, Apollo, and LinkedIn. The initial setup was simple, which I love.

It can feel a bit expensive for me, especially since I’m a small agency.

While Zoom Workplace is very useful for meetings and collaboration, there are a few areas that could be improved. One issue I sometimes experience is connection and audio/video stability. If the internet connection is not strong, meetings can occasionally have lag, frozen screens, or dropped calls, which can interrupt the flow of discussions. Another area that could be better is the user interface and navigation. Because Zoom Workplace includes many features like meetings, chat, and collaboration tools, it can sometimes feel a bit crowded or confusing to navigate, especially for new users. I also think the free version limitations could be improved. For example, the 40-minute time limit for meetings in the free plan can be restrictive when hosting longer discussions or group meetings. Additionally, some users report technical issues such as Bluetooth device connection problems or difficulty switching audio devices, which can affect the meeting experience. Overall, Zoom Workplace works very well for communication and collaboration, but improving stability, simplifying the interface, and offering more flexibility in the free plan would make the experience even better.

User-Friendly, but Mobile App Hiccups

I really like that Zoom Workplace doesn't have any glitches or problems and that it's user-friendly. I don't need any technical expertise to use it, which is a big plus. The initial setup was very easy, and there was nothing concerning for any of the people involved.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say in mobile phone, it's essential to download the app, but I didn't know this and lost time, which made me late for a meeting.

What do you like best about the product?
I like best is how simple and reliable it is. Joining meetings is quick, video/audio quality is good, and screen sharing works smoothly for team discussions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes meetings take a little time to connect and the app can feel a bit heavy on the system. Also managing many notifications and updates can be slightly annoying at times.
