What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a truly seamless, foolproof way to bring the conference room to you. Private enough to require an invite, but accessible enough to host large meetings from anywhere in the world, Zoom connected people and kept operations moving during quarantine, and is now indispensable in bridging the gap between workers with RTO orders, hybrid employees, and those who still WFH!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish in-call chat notifications were more pronounced when in full screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A conference call with 50 attendees could have all 50 attendees in different places around the world, and Zoom's suite of features keeps that from seeming as hectic as it could.

AI summary keeps meetings productive and responsive support aids seamless communication

  • April 28, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I primarily use Zoom for business and church meetings, and family gatherings. It is also used for small group meetings with family members.

What is most valuable?

The feature I really like is the summary provided by AI. It allows me to catch up with what has been discussed if I join a few minutes after others have already started, which is a very good feature.

What needs improvement?

So far, Zoom is excellent, but if there was a way to retain links for documents that are shared in the chat after a meeting, it would be very helpful. Additionally, the ability to do live changes to documents during meetings would be beneficial.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Zoom for the past three to four years.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

When talking to clients who are in areas with poor networks, it becomes quite a problem. Also, when we have meetings with larger numbers than planned, like exceeding from one hundred to three hundred to four hundred attendees, there are challenges. It would be ideal if there was an automatic scaling option where you could pay for increased capacity as needed.

How are customer service and support?

I have not had any problems with Zoom support. If there's an issue, I reach out to their support, and they respond quickly without major problems.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have used Teams in the past. The main difference is that Teams allows for easy live documentation and editing, sharing of documents, and those changes can be made easily.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup was straightforward and not difficult.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Given that Zoom is now almost an ubiquitous product, the pricing should be reduced. Additionally, if auto-scaling was included, users could pay an extra for increased capacity when required.

What other advice do I have?

Everyone I know uses Zoom. When others are not connected, I encourage them to download and use it. I give Zoom a nine out of ten because some additional features would be helpful.

Zoom Product Review

  • April 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy Zoom is to use, even if you aren’t very tech-savvy. The interface is clean and straightforward, and setting up meetings or joining them takes just a few clicks. I also appreciate the reliability—meetings almost never drop or freeze. The features like screen sharing, breakout rooms, and chat during calls make collaboration much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Zoom can use a lot of computer resources, especially if you’re in a long meeting or have multiple things open at once. I’ve noticed my computer fan gets loud and everything slows down a bit. Also, it would be great if there were even more options to customize meeting layouts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace makes it much easier to schedule and manage meetings with both internal teams and clients. It removes a lot of the hassle around coordinating times and setting up reliable video calls. It’s helped streamline communication, save time, and keep projects moving forward without delays. The integration with calendars and reminders is especially helpful.
