What do you like best about the product?
I love using Zoom Workplace for its ease of use, functionality, and reliability. It is consistently there for us as an organization and has been our go-to application. The initial setup was extremely easy, and we have found it to provide critical solutions in minutes. It's much easier to calibrate things compared to how processes and implementation ran 10 years ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace eliminates travel and scheduling conflicts, allowing critical solutions instantly. It has simplified and accelerated processes compared to 10 years ago.

Zoom Workplace: All-in-One Flow with Rock-Solid Meetings and Time-Saving AI Summaries

  • February 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Zoom Workplace is how it brings everything into one flow instead of scattering work across five different apps.

You’re not just jumping on video calls anymore. You’ve got meetings, chat, whiteboard, docs, AI summaries, and calendar coordination all in one place. That reduces context switching, which honestly is where most productivity gets lost.

The meeting experience itself is still the strongest part. It’s stable, even on weaker connections. Screen sharing is smooth. Breakout rooms are easy to manage. For someone working across teams or stakeholders, that reliability matters.

Another big plus is the AI Companion. Automatic meeting summaries and action item capture save real time. Instead of scrambling to take notes, you can focus on the discussion and still walk away with structured follow-ups.

And finally, it scales well. Whether it’s a quick 1:1, a sprint review, or a large stakeholder town hall, it handles all of it without friction.

In short, it reduces coordination overhead. That’s the real win.
What do you dislike about the product?
One issue is feature overload. There’s meetings, chat, whiteboard, docs, clips, AI tools, phone, scheduler and more. While that’s impressive, it can make the interface feel crowded. For new users especially, it’s not immediately clear where to go for what.

Another drawback is that chat still doesn’t feel as fluid as dedicated tools like Slack. Threads can get messy, and long-term knowledge management inside chat isn’t great. It works, but it’s not the strongest part of the platform.

There’s also the pricing structure. Some of the more useful features, especially advanced AI capabilities, are locked behind higher-tier plans. For smaller teams, that can feel limiting.

And finally, performance can dip when running larger meetings alongside multiple integrations. It’s generally stable, but it does demand decent system resources.

So overall, it’s not about major flaws. It’s more about complexity and positioning. Zoom started as the best video tool in the room. As it expands into an all-in-one workplace platform, it’s still figuring out how to make everything feel equally polished.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At its core, it cuts down fragmentation. Before, teams juggle a video app, a chat tool, a docs/collaboration tool, calendars, and task trackers. That’s context switching—mental friction, lost time, missed details. Zoom Workplace brings those into one ecosystem. That alone smooths communication and coordination.

It also tackles meeting inefficiency. With things like AI summaries, action item extraction, and searchable transcripts, you don’t have to capture every detail yourself or chase people afterward for what was decided. That means less time rehashing and more time acting.

Real-time collaboration is another area. Whiteboards, shared docs, and chat live together around the same session or workspace, so brainstorming feels continuous instead of disjointed across tools.

For teams spread across different locations or time zones, the persistent history in chats and meetings helps too. You don’t have to repeat context—newcomers can catch up quickly.

The benefit of all this is simpler workflows. Fewer apps to switch between, clearer handoffs between conversation and action, and less “where did we put that?” when you need past context. You save time, reduce friction, and keep everyone aligned without relying on seven different tools.

AI-Powered Collaboration Hub Transformed Our Workflow

  • February 11, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Zoom Workplace has evolved from a simple video tool into a powerful, AI-powered, all-in-one collaboration platform. It effectively consolidates meetings, team chats, phones, and workspaces, which is very effective for modern, hybrid work environments. I also like that it's designed to integrate with numerous third-party tools, supporting over 2,700 apps including popular options like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, making it a central hub for business communication. Additionally, the initial setup is straightforward, especially for existing Zoom users, making the transition seamless and not requiring a complex new installation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom Workplace has successfully transitioned into a broad, AI-powered collaboration suite, but this expansion has introduced areas for potential improvement regarding performance, feature complexity, and integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zoom Workplace to reduce context switching and improve meeting efficiency. It centralizes communication as an AI-powered, unified platform.

AI-Powered Versatility, But Feature Overload Concerns

  • February 11, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Zoom Workplace has an 'all-in-one' evolution, which integrates various features like AI companion and meeting summaries. I find these tools, like AI meeting summaries, automated synthesis, and smart recording, valuable for time recovery and sharing. The Zoom Whiteboard is another feature I appreciate, enhancing communication efficiency and providing real-time clarity. Communication tools like chat compose and email drafting also improve my workflow, making collaboration smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the interface overload and feature creep which makes it feel cluttered. The resource consumption is a pain point, especially for users with older hardware or mobile devices. Meeting fatigue features seem to be lacking, and file management and collaboration could be improved. It's moving away from being a simple video tool, making the interface feel a bit cluttered compared to its original streamlined version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zoom Workplace for virtual meetings and team collaboration, solving issues like echo, feedback, and app compatibility. The AI meeting summaries and smart recording improve communication efficiency and save time, while features like Zoom whiteboard and chat composition enhance collaboration.

Clear Communication, Minor Glitches

  • February 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that with Zoom Workplace, I can raise my hand and unmute myself during online classes, which is not usually possible with other programs. It helps in easy connectivity, and both the voice and video are clear. I can also send direct messages to my teacher for clearing doubts, which saves me time and allows me to focus more on my studies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it's showing me that I'm just connecting but on the teacher don't show that I'm connecting. And sometimes the teacher's screen isn't showing to us when the started sharing even though our network is working well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Zoom Workplace, I can raise my hand, unmute myself, and directly check with teachers, which isn't supported by other programs. It offers easy connectivity with clear voice and video, and lets me resolve doubts quickly without waiting.
