Strong Security Without Sacrificing Usability

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how 1Password combines strong security with ease of use. I’m not great at remembering passwords, so having a secure, centralized place to store and manage them is incredibly helpful. At the same time, it gives me confidence knowing that sensitive information, including customer credentials, is protected by robust security standards. It simplifies my day to day workflow while maintaining a high level of trust and protection
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the autofill feature doesn’t activate automatically, which requires me to manually select the correct password or sign in again. This can slow things down slightly, especially when moving quickly between tools or accounts. That said, it’s a relatively minor issue, and overall the experience is still very positive. The browser application in particular is easy to use, intuitive, and makes managing passwords much more efficient day to day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, 1Password solves the challenge of securely managing sensitive logins, especially customer credentials tied to our platform. Knowing that customer logins are stored and shared in a secure way gives me real peace of mind and allows me to do my job confidently without worrying about security risks. It also saves time and reduces friction in my day to day work, since I don’t have to remember or manually manage passwords while still following strong security best practices.

Essential for Secure, Seamless Credential Management

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use 1Password every day to securely store and manage work credentials, including application logins, internal tools, shared team accounts, and sensitive notes. It’s part of my daily routine I unlock it first thing in the morning and rely on it throughout the day when accessing different systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much I dislike, but the initial setup took a little time to understand, especially around organizing vaults properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What I like most about 1Password is how effortlessly it fits into my workflow. The browser extension works reliably, so logging into tools is fast without needing to remember or reset passwords. I also appreciate how easy it is to generate strong passwords automatically, I no longer reuse passwords or store them insecurely.
The vault-sharing feature has been especially useful. Instead of sending credentials over chat or email, I can securely share access with teammates and revoke it when needed. This alone has significantly improved how we handle security as a team.

Outdated Documentation Makes Setup Frustrating

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
No sure. So hard to use. But I guess importing pwd is easy
What do you dislike about the product?
Your documentation and directions on the web page are so out of date and circular references. You say go to one thing and that says to go do the first thing you were doing and it is impossible to use the barcode or find a secret code to login to my phone on version 8. I have to try to use this for work, or I would have given up a long time ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just getting logged in on more than one system. I always end up in a circular reference in your on screen prompts and instructions.

Secure password management has simplified my work and personal secrets are protected

  • December 05, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

I use 1Password Business for both work and personal family purposes. At work, I use 1Password Business to organize all my passwords for various applications I log into, as well as certain secrets that I need to keep, such as keys and other sensitive information. I also use it to store secret information that I don't want anybody to gain access to for my own purposes or for work.

How has it helped my organization?

1Password Business has ensured that our users are creating good, secure passwords that are unique for every application they have to log into.

What is most valuable?

The best feature of 1Password Business is that it helps you keep track of multiple passwords used for various different purposes and allows you to make those passwords as secure and complex as possible. You can keep the length of the password long and add as much complexity as you want without having to memorize passwords for a bunch of different systems. It prevents you from using a password in more than one place, so all your passwords are unique. It notifies you if you've used a password somewhere else before.

1Password Business has very easy-to-use password generation tools. You have lots of options in terms of how you'd like to construct the password, whether it's just a bunch of random letters, numbers, and symbols, or you can create phrases or hyphenated words. It's great for generating passwords for you. 1Password Business has a fantastic auto-generation feature so that you don't have to come up with your own.

Shared vaults have streamlined credential access and maintain stronger security posture

  • December 04, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

1Password Business is used for automated testing through the 1Password CLI. The primary application is utilizing 1Password Business in Playwright tests to enable login to our system, allowing our automated test suites to run in Jenkins.

What is most valuable?

1Password Business is used across the company to manage access to several different resources, enabling multiple people who need access to the same resource to share that vault without having to add the same person or create an account for every individual.

The best feature 1Password Business offers is the ability to use vaults to easily share access across different teams. Shared vaults enable smooth sharing throughout our organization.

Sharing is a main highlight, and it can accelerate our processes as well.

1Password Business positively impacts our organization by helping us maintain a better security posture and keeping everything in one location, making it easier to avoid leaks or manage credential changes across the board.

Since we started using 1Password Business, it has saved considerable time. Previously, we had to contact several different people to determine the most current credentials, but now the vaults remain up to date all the time, eliminating the need to search for current credentials.

What needs improvement?

1Password Business is working well, and there is little that needs improvement at this time.

For improvements, better notifications when credentials are updated would provide greater visibility across the organization.

For how long have I used the solution?

1Password Business has been in use for approximately two years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

1Password Business provides a smooth and reliable experience for our team.

What other advice do I have?

The method of how the business purchased 1Password Business is uncertain. My advice for others considering 1Password Business is to try it out and see if it works for your organization, as it works well for us. I would rate this product a 10 out of 10.

Shared team vaults have streamlined credential access and secured daily development workflows

  • December 04, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

1Password Business serves as my main solution for sharing credentials with my team and storing passwords for staging.

We maintain a vault specific for the team where we have access to our staging and test environments.

Whenever a new team member is onboarded, we give them access to the vault so they have immediate access to all the credentials they need to log in.

What is most valuable?

The best features 1Password Business offers are the developer tools, as they mean that if you have SSH set up on your GitHub account, you don't have to type in your password every time you commit and push something.

1Password Business has positively impacted my organization by making it more secure, easier to share credentials with other people, and more reliable.

If we were to forget our password, the owner of the enterprise can reset it and then log us back in. Using a password manager in general is more secure, especially when it's a trusted one by the entire team, and the reliability is evident because it's straightforward to log in knowing that your credentials will be there anytime you do log in. The developer tools make my daily workflow easier and more secure because they integrate with the fingerprint built in for MacBook, making it quick and simple whenever I have to log into something.

What needs improvement?

I choose a nine out of ten because I think some of the UI is a bit confusing, and the tutorials and documentation for 1Password Business are not the best.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using 1Password Business for about a year and a half.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

1Password Business is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

1Password Business has good scalability.

How are customer service and support?

I don't know how the customer support is.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I was using the Google Password Manager before, and we switched over to 1Password Business because the company said it was going to be our password manager since it was more secure, better for people to be on the same software, and they had more control in making sure people could get access to it.

How was the initial setup?

I am not sure how 1Password Business is deployed in my organization.

What about the implementation team?

I didn't have to deal with pricing, setup cost, and licensing because the company handled it.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I didn't have to deal with pricing, setup cost, and licensing because the company handled it.

What other advice do I have?

My advice to others looking into using 1Password Business is that the documentation is pretty bad, but once you figure it out, it's a good tool. I would rate this product a nine out of ten.

What is most valuable?

The best features 1Password Business offers include password creation and the administration features available within the app.

I find the administration features particularly valuable, especially the Watchtower feature that alerts me when certain passwords have not been updated within a certain timeframe or when sites or accounts have been exposed, prompting me to proactively change those passwords.

1Password Business has positively impacted my organization by making it easier to access and exit accounts, create new accounts, and share information across teams, all in a secure manner.

It can enforce strong, secure passwords, and as I create a password, it provides feedback on whether it is weak, strong, or extremely strong.
