1Password: Secure, User-Friendly, but Pricey for Personal Use

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1Password provides a seamless and secure way to manage all my passwords in one place. I really like its intuitive interface, cross-device syncing, and strong encryption that ensures my data stays protected. The auto-fill feature saves time while logging in, and the ability to store secure notes and payment info adds extra convenience.
What do you dislike about the product?
While 1Password is excellent overall, its subscription pricing can feel a bit high for personal users. Occasionally, browser extensions take a few seconds to load, and the initial setup for new users might be slightly confusing. A more simplified onboarding experience and flexible pricing options would make it even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password solves the problem of remembering and managing multiple complex passwords securely. Instead of reusing or writing down passwords, I can store everything safely in one vault with end-to-end encryption. It also helps protect me from phishing and weak password risks by generating strong, unique passwords for each account. The convenience of auto-fill and cross-device syncing saves time and keeps my online accounts more secure and organized.

1Password Review: A Secure and Seamless Password Manager for Everyday Use

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This software is compatible with all major platforms, including Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, which means your passwords stay synchronized and you enjoy a consistent experience no matter which device you use. The browser integration and extensions are well implemented, making autofill a real time-saver and helping to streamline the login process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The subscription is more expensive compared to some other options. Additionally, there is no fully free version available—only a temporary trial is offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using 1Password, teams frequently shared credentials through email, chat, or spreadsheets, which was both insecure and difficult to manage. With 1Password, there is now a centralized, encrypted vault where passwords can be securely stored and shared only with authorized individuals. In the past, it was challenging to track who had access to specific information. Now, 1Password’s admin dashboard and activity logs offer clear visibility into usage, making it easier to meet security and audit requirements.

Easy to Use, Great Autofill, Strong Security—But Some Drawbacks

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease to use
Great autofill
works across devices
strong security features
Great security insights with Watchtower
What do you dislike about the product?
Took a little time to get used to organizing vaults
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started using 1Password about six months ago after getting tired of forgetting logins or reusing the same password everywhere. It’s been a total game-changer. I use it across my laptop and phone, and it syncs perfectly. The autofill feature works great in browsers and apps, and I love that I can store not just passwords but also credit cards and secure notes. The Watchtower feature is also super helpful—it alerts me if any of my passwords are weak or reused.
