SAP S/4HANA - A real time analytics tool that aids decision making
What do you like best about the product?
S/4HANA has made the day to day operations very efficient. It helps in the centralisation of hardware while acting as a hub for network resources. All of this significantly helps in simplifying business processes while making the process significantly more efficient! S4 HANA offers greatly improved performance, which means planning, analysis and execution can be achieved in a shorter timeframe than earlier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The licensing cost for the product is high. Also, implementing SAP S/4HANA would almost seem like implementing a new ERP system altogether, and this can be a very tedious process for understaffed companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we planned to move our business to cloud, SAP S/4HANA has been immensely helpful as it offers very easy transition to cloud from existing solutions. Not only this, but It also offers quick and efficient ways for better integration and also simplified methods for managing data in the cloud.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
SAP S/4 HANA is a really well made solution to existing problems with ERP systems. For companies that are looking for long term cost benefits and savings, S/4 HANA is a product that must be considered as it simplifies business processes significantly while integrating with other SAP ERP solutions seamlessly.

What do you like best about the product?
S/4 HANA contains the so-called single source of truth table. It contains all relevant finance details in one single table.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s nothing really to dislike as this version simplifies financial details and transactions.

S/4 HANA has simplified the financial transactions with the creation single source of truth table.

What do you like best about the product?
In SAP S4 HANA, you can have up to a maximum of 10 currencies, 8 of which are freely definable. You can set the freely definable currencies to real-time and not real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only standard currencies are inly available for material, asset, and controlling currencies. The freely-definable currencies will only appear in ACDOCA table.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Price differences (variances) can now be splitted per GL account using the S4 functionality. This means that you can breakdown the transactions per variance categories.

What do you like best about the product?
SAP HANA is relatively user-friendly. Its still a little clunky and could use updated visuals / layout / design. But works well for our purposes in capital finance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Least helpful thing is the actual "Help" section. It often does not connect and there is rarely relevant help topics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to review quotes / details / payment terms when I am approving or rejecting capital shopping carts for the 5G business.

Response time is amazing. The new analytics features are quite impressive.

Tools aren't quite there. A lot of the infrastructure to support this is not as mature as other products.

The platform provides a new dimension to the business users. The replication and scale-out features allow for nearly unlimited scopes of analysis.

Its not mandatory to switch if existing ER is working fine, but it helps

Measure your financial performance effectively with this advanced software. Track your expense management, production costs and your accounting, this allows you to keep a financial control and get much more accurate reports. It even allows to plan the requisition of materials, has mobile applications, in addition the user's security is excellent.

Maintaining the use of this software over time can be really high

We needed a software robust enough to implement certain administrative processes that would change the general process flow of our institution, it was great how this software helped us achieve that and much more, it is an advanced and sophisticated software for what we already learn to use it is an extra professional incentive for workers in the financial and accounting area

Nothing, I really believe it is a big evolution from former SAP ECC

Although very innovative and flexible, SAP S/4HANA demands a large implementation as such as former SAP ECC Core. This is good to know to ground expectations.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very robust piece of software and covers all aspects of business scenarios. It is also very easy to understand and configure. It also very customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not keep up to speed with changes in the business environment. It also is not friendly for E-commerce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solve problems related to finance and sales. It enables me to smoothly make business transactions and conduct analysis.
