Highly Flexible with Seamless Customizations
What do you like best about the product?
we appreciate SAP S/4HANA Cloud for its great flexibility and improved user interface tailored for business users, along with the extensive extensibility features available for developers. This software excels in providing powerful business benefits. I am particularly impressed by the way it allows us to retain core functionalities while also offering the possibility of implementing new customizations through its extensibility features on SAP BTP. The Accounts Payable module is an essential part of my daily operations, enhanced by the Fiori apps, which provide a superior interface experience for end-users. Additionally, I value the strong integration capabilities offered by SAP BTP, which utilize their Integration Suite and Data Intelligence Cloud to seamlessly connect with both SAP and non-SAP systems, making integration much smoother and more reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging to consider the portability of features that the business was accustomed to in ECC, which are now missing in SAP S/4HANA Cloud. The transition involves missing functionalities that were previously available, which can be frustrating. Additionally, while the capability to extend features using SAP Build is beneficial, it incurs additional costs per service, adding to the financial overhead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use SAP S/4HANA Cloud for enhanced flexibility, user-friendly interfaces, and extensibility, retaining core functionality while enabling customizations. It streamlines financial processes like Accounts Payable, improving business consolidation and integration capabilities.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud has limited customization options and relies on standardized processes, which may not meet every business’s unique requirements. More flexible integration tools and increased customization capabilities would improve user satisfaction

Powerful Integration, Perfect for End Users
What do you like best about the product?
I truly value SAP S/4HANA Cloud's integration capabilities with various business components like finance and sales distribution, which significantly streamline our operations. The transparency it offers is excellent, providing clear visibility across different business processes. I appreciate how SAP S/4HANA Cloud has simplified our business processes, which were previously very complex and required numerous consultants and developers. Now, implementing and using the system is much easier compared to the past. Furthermore, its compatibility and suitability for end-users have made the adoption process seamless over time, leading to wide acceptance within our organization. This ease of use and functionality has motivated me to recommend it highly, rating it a perfect 10 in likelihood to recommend to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that AI-driven processes are not yet well integrated with SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Initially, it was challenging to encourage business users to transition from our previous custom-developed ERP system to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, as they were really accustomed to the older system and were somewhat reluctant to embrace the new ERP system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use SAP S/4HANA Cloud for seamless business process integration, reducing the need for extensive consultancy and development. It facilitates transparency and is well-suited for end users, simplifying complex processes for financial and sales distribution.

Impressive Graphics and Search, but New Procedures Take Getting Used To
What do you like best about the product?
The new graphics give me a really good impression. It's also searchable, so you don't have to remember all the translations like you did in the on-premise version.
What do you dislike about the product?
I may not like all the new procedures, as they are quite different from those used on-premise. However, with thorough documentation, it becomes much easier to learn and adapt to these new approaches.

SAP is the most comprehensive ERP system on the market. It supports standardized business practices with enough flexibility to customize to fit any business model.

The public cloud model adds more layers to security compared to privately hosted systems and adds potential failure points that could cause service disruptions.

Limited expansion options, Still easy start
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that SAP S/4HANA Cloud serves as a development platform for our products. It is the foundation on which we build our development and create products for our customers. I find it positive that as a developer, I was provided with a ready-made system and did not have to take care of the setup myself. This has significantly eased the setup process for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
What could be improved is the ability for our products to better utilize the standard functions and, if necessary, the extensions. Currently, it is somewhat limited because the new Le el model and the released API do not allow us to easily adapt our existing products.

With our systems, we can develop products that help our customers optimize their processes.
Great Features, but different code lines and release cycles make it harder to support.

Easier maintenance and slightly faster implementations are possible. Access to new technologies like artificial intelligence for supporting daily business.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some features not available in on-prem versions. A lot of complexity when using wide spread of scenarios. Integrated help functions are not yet included, different code lines make it not easy to develop for private and public cloud in parallel.

Get rid of historical programs and developments, chance to start from scratch with unified processes and redesign using best practices. Bring development to a modern level.
