What do you like best about the product?
The ability to post across multiple social media platforms within one tab.
What do you dislike about the product?
Accounts are disconnected frequently so you must reconnect on a regular basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When our social media accounts were all connected to the platform it was easy and quick to schedule posts. Our main problem was that we manage several accounts and the ability to post quickly was helpful.

Hootsuite simplifies our job, but it's important to know its limits for it to be effective.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite every day of the week, sometimes for scheduling, sometimes to monitor what’s being said around our brand or a client campaign. The ‘best time to post’ suggestions have really helped increase engagement; I’ve tested them vs manual scheduling and more often than not, the Hootsuite AI wins. And duplication and tweaking of posts across platforms – I mean, this alone has to save me at least an hour a day.
What do you dislike about the product?
So, yeah, I was basically sold on the concept that Hootsuite would allow me to monitor broader, untagged brand conversations — but once I signed up, I discovered that only tagged mentions are in my plan. And while the interface looks clean at first glance, I still get lost finding certain functions — it’s like hiding the scissors in a different drawer every week. And while the targeting is along the audience is not as deep as it is in Meltwater or Sprout Social, it still feels a little more surface-level; now, instead of nicely drilling down into niche segments using complex filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Hootsuite, I had to cobble together insights from platform-native tools, spreadsheets, and way too many browser tabs. Now I can plan postings, measure sentiment, and get real-time updates all in one place. This is very helpful when running a PR-sensitive campaign or monitoring a crisis. It saves me so much time and keeps me feeling pretty sure that I haven’t forgotten something big.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the fact that you could plan out you social media posts at the beginning of the month, enter in all the content, and then let the system do its thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, apart from the fact it took a little while to set up, and link all your accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allowed us to have a consistent tone of voice across all social media platforms, and allowed us to plan out each months posts.

Hootsuite made social media management for our college so easy.

  • July 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite to schedule college events and exam notifications through our social media handles. We used to post on all platforms one by one, which used to take so much time. But with Hootsuite, we schedule all notifications in advance so all information goes to students on time and I feel less anxiety about posting on time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite has quite a learning curve, so in the beginning I felt overwhelmed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solved our biggest problem of posting on time important college exam notifications. We schedule all notifications in advance and also use Hootsuite inbox to resolve students' queries. That's big relief for both students and for us.

Hootsuite does everything we need

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Hootsuite is how easy it is for us to oversee what's going on over hundreds of social pages and making sure everything is on brand and fits with the messaging we are pushing. We use Hootsuite for everything from scheduling, approving posts to be published, analytics, social listening and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is sometimes when pages become disconnected or posts fail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows us to have central control over all our local-ran social media pages as well as being able to deep dive into analytics in a way we weren't able to before. Also, the social listening aspect allows us to know what people are saying about us as a brand and the sentiment behind this.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuites easy accessibility and seamless integration to various ad managers across various platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
I felt hootsuite was getting sidetracked by competitors offering better value for money , not to mention hootsuite wasn't staying updated as compared to the competition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helped me to use a plethora of digital marketing platforms and tools all at once without wasting time.

Great Service, Stellar Team, and Robust Features

  • July 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What stands out most about Hootsuite is the strength of the team behind the platform. They are quick to address bugs, offer helpful learning resources, and provide strategic support that goes beyond basic social media management. While Hootsuite excels at helping teams manage and schedule content, its tools also support broader business goals, making it a valuable partner in building and maintaining a strong digital presence.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of using Hootsuite is that the interface could use some improvement. Certain areas of the platform make it difficult to view and navigate information clearly, which can slow down workflows or make key insights harder to access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes it easier to manage all of my social media accounts in one place. It saves time, keeps content organized, and helps me stay consistent across platforms. I also like that it makes collaboration simple and gives me the tools to track performance and adjust my strategy as needed. It’s been a big help in keeping everything running smoothly.

An Operational Lifesaver for Agencies Or Businesses Managing Diverse Client Needs

  • July 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What truly sets Hootsuite apart for me is how well it scales with complexity. I manage multiple clients, each with different publishing cadences, content review workflows, and engagement priorities—and Hootsuite lets me orchestrate all of it without chaos. What I enjoy most is how it doesn’t try to be flashy—it just works the way I need it to, even under pressure.
What do you dislike about the product?
One consistent pain point is the rigidity of LinkedIn tagging—it’s not just a minor inconvenience; it actively slows down client-facing posts where precision matters. Also, when an account disconnects because of admin changes, it’s frustrating to have no graceful fallback or queue pause. The UI, while functional, sometimes feels a bit dated compared to something like Sprout Social, which offers a more refined experience, especially in analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Hootsuite, my team relied on a patchwork of spreadsheets, browser tabs, and Slack messages to manage campaigns—tracking accountability was a nightmare. Now that we can assign, categorize, and schedule posts from one place, there are a lot less misunderstandings and late-night fire drills. The best thing is not simply the time I save, but also the piece of mind that comes from knowing I am in charge without being a micromanager.
