Connects to many platforms but takes more manipulating than other alternatives
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite lets you sync several platforms, which is definitely a bonus. You don't have to use different platforms to reach all social media accounts like you have to with others. You can also see all of your tabs in one place and switching between them is easy enough. There's also tons of apps you can install to help monitor different social media accounts attached to your HootSuite.
What do you dislike about the product?
It costs (extra) money to run some reports and even to use more than just the basic plan, especially if you have more than a couple of users (several thousands of dollars).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I no longer use HootSuite.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try out your alternatives, especially if you need it for multiple users and cannot afford the pricey team package.
Hootsuite - great, low barrier to entry social media tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like scheduling and being able to see the full calendar of our organization's posts across all social media platforms within one interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how the platform is sometimes slow and unresponsive to clicking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having multiple social media stakeholders be able to schedule and view content within the same platform for a relatively low price.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While we're a non-profit and haven't moved over to their Enterprise edition, I have spoken and done demo's with their sales team. The services offered look top notch and would be effective additions to our strategy if we were to incorporate it into our budget.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy and simple to use. Allows me to plan as much in advance as needed

Wish there was an Instagram and LinkedIn

Great tool to plan out your week and not have to worry about. We've benefitted from keeping a great social media presence without having to spend too much time on it

Very simple product that is free for the basic uses. Upgrading is great if need more details/monitoring

It is very easy to get all your accounts set up and housed in one place. It's also very easy to schedule basic posts. For a free tool, it works great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Images don't post properly when you schedule the post, meaning a lot has to be natively posted through each social channel instead of through Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes the management of multiple corporate accounts easier and more efficient.

I love the user-friendliness of Hootsuite-- it was easy for me to teach myself how to use it quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its functions are more limited than similar tools, but if you're working on simple content creation and less on the analytics side, it works just fine.

I'm able to keep all social updated constantly throughout each day by taking a few minutes to schedule posts a few times a week.

What I really like about Hootsuite is the scheduling feature and it can help you find optimal times to schedule.

I haven't found anything I disliked about it.

Pay for the service, you will get more out of it rather than using a free service.

investigate how important instagram is to your media use, and consider getting additional services such as Grum

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling, analytics, and the educational opportunities are the major benefits for me. I'm the only communications staff in the department and it makes my life a lot easier. Our board loves the reporting capabilities, which we never used before.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the analytics to be more intuitive and easier to communicate to staff outside of the communications department.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a one person communications department for a rapidly growing nonprofit. Hootsuite allows me to quickly and easily manage our social strategy.
Hootsuite use for work
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can access all of my social media accounts at one place and post on each account using only one website. It allows me to save time by not having to switch back and forth between accounts to post and monitor social media accounts. I like that it is somewhat customize-able, too. Scheduling and automation are also very helpful to only have to think about posting something once and not having to remember specific dates or times to post items.
What do you dislike about the product?
The visual aesthetics are not super user-friendly, however it is manageable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of ability to post on all social media accounts on one website. Saves time when using scheduling and automation. Monitoring and social listening are also easy to do on Hootsuite. Analytics are extremely helpful when deciding how to improve upon social media plans.
