You can view all social media accounts at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could take time before updates appear
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What Hootsuite solves primarly is the challenge of tracking down all social media accounts, especially when doing campaigns. On one screen, you can view all updates, tweets, and responses so that you can act accordingly.

What do you like best about the product?
I didnt like anything, , buffer is far better
What do you dislike about the product?
layout is horrible, hard to keep track of mentions, I was unable to add our company facebook to the hoosuite so couldnt manage my accounts with the tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its only good to monitor twitter

What do you like best about the product?
I love the bulk scheduling feature. It helps to save time and assure accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the reports only analyze data from tweets posted through hootsuite rather than taking ALL tweets into account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are saving TONS of time on our social platform and maintaining an active account.

What do you like best about the product?
The convenience of being able to manage multiple accounts in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like having to upload yet another app to my phone to post when I was out of the office.

It solved efficiency within the newsroom.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to manage multiple platforms and accounts in one place. I love being acle to schedule posts so I don't have to spend all day on social media but can still be posting relevant things to my work all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The usefulness of the display maxes out at just a few platforms, and it can sometimes be confusing which account on each platform you're posting to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a social media manager in an internship I switched the small business to Hootsuite so I could grow their social media prrsence by better tracking posts and by scheduling posts to have a more consistent flow of information on our sites.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very easy to use to manage social media and online presence. It worked really well for a small company and the 30 sday free trial gave us a chance to really get to know the product before committing.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Speed. It allows me to quickly make posts without taking a lot of time out of each day.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using a high number of social media platforms the dashboard can get a bit crowded and harder to get a quick snapshot view of overall social media marketing progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting the word out on social media about our company and product. It has helped raise our social media footprint by brining in more followers, likes, and overall engagement with our brand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It lets you ease into the software by providing a free account. The free account limits you to 3 social media networks but allows you to get a feel for the program and quickly determine if the paid model is right for you.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes it simple to share things I find around the web and to pick the best time to share on each network, but little problems keep it from truly being great.
What do you dislike about the product?
the UI is clunky, the analytics never line up with what in-platform metrics say (FB, twitter, etc)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
saves time when scheduling content. pushes to instagram as best as possible.

the interface still seems bulky to me and I like Buffer's chrome extension better

You couldn't post things on Instagram at the time I was using it

What do you like best about the product?
You can do everything from Hootsuite - no need to ever log into twitter itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get really dense. If you have several accounts, you have to be careful not to accidentally schedule the wrong tweet into the wrong account. Maybe if the color of the background changed as the account you are posting on changed that would help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing a constant social media cycle without being constantly plugged into social media. I need my platforms to be engaged and current without requiring me to be sitting there refreshing twitter.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have someone who knows how to actually use it give you suggestions before you try poking around in there on a live twitter account. Social Media is forever, you don't want your learning experience to be permanently documented by your followers if it isn't up to your standards.
