It’s a great tool for cross channel campaign management

What do you like best about the product?
I like the UX design, it’s simple and intuitive to navigate. Scheduling and publishing is very easy to accomplish and the analytics reports are concise and well compiled.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think hootsuite should offer free reports and just up the overall subscription charges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-channel social media campaign management on one platform.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the price! And it is easy to monitor all my accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to customize the way I want it at the free level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to keep an eye on several accounts at once.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can't publish a series of Tweets in Hootsuite and it is difficult to look up individuals and see their tweets over time. You can post in Instagram directly from your computer through Hootsuite now, however, you can only post one photo. The search for user handles is not very good.

What do you like best about the product?
I do appreciate being able to schedule all of my posts at once, in advance, and even push the same message to multiple platforms at the same time. Back when Hootsuite really worked, it was revolutionary.
What do you dislike about the product?
Now that there are so many differences among Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, it's virtually impossible to schedule all of your posts at once. You don't get to see a true preview of how your post is going to look, which can result in mistakes and embarrassment. Also, you have to go through a lot of rigmarole to verify Facebook pages now in order to edit links in Hootsuite. The interface can also be a little touchy,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is ideal of community managers who can't be posting all day, every day. Hootsuite allows your to schedule all of the posts at once (up to 30 days in advance) and not worry that they'll be sent on time.

What do you like best about the product?
Love how it is automatically integrated with a editing application!

Maybe if it was a little more user-friendly and organized

I love how I can easily pick what social platforms I want to post on and schedule what times i want it posted than see the analytics associated with any particular post.

Okay but not the best

What do you like best about the product?
I like the tabs and streams available, especially when you can see things related to one keyword. Love the HootSuite blog because it offers a lot of great free advice and the HootSuite academy is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to adapt to instagram planning better and the autoschedule feature not being able to use it over multiple days. I just have the organization membership with my company and I hate it, with the design and permissions it's just unnappealing from an aesthetic perspective. Also I noticed they inflate my engagement numbers, I'm sure they do it to make their product seem like its working better than it is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social Media Scheduling and Insight reports into those. I did find Upcontent because of them and it has been a huge help.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out CoSchedule and Later for Instagram Marketing. I'll probably switch to them when my year is done with HootSuite. Love the HootSuite blog though

Clear and Visually Appealing

What do you like best about the product?
The format is easy to see, the reporting charts are pretty and everything is really easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
My platforms would disconnect a lot, it's not really friendly with LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting! Hootsuite provides pretty good reporting and monitoring, but there are additional stats and insights I wish it would have more of.

What do you like best about the product?
It's affordable - support is fairly responsive - all of our clients know it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Consistently disconnects - bad excuses when things break or go wrong - interface is busy - does not integrate well with ad component - reporting lacks everything but vanity metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistently leaves us hanging when posts do not publish or accounts disconnect, with no warning or heads up. A lot of manually work to fix. But all of our clients know it - and its cheaper than other platforms to manage 200+ clients at once.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can load up my queue and forget it. It will notify me if one of the integrations need to be refreshed, or if anything went wrong. I like that it works with all of the main social media platforms, and that it allows me to customize the content on each one.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could more easily tag other accounts and users in it. @mentions don't work for me very well so it would complete automate and replace my social media posting if it did that. I also wish it was a better monitoring or listening app that could do the job of a software like Vocus. If Hootsuite did that, it would be the Holy Grail! I also wish I could undock some of the channels and run them like a widget on my desktop. Once you have several channels, it gets a bit unwieldly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time is money, so If I can use one tool and post one thing and have it "behave" on multiple platforms, that's a business win! Hootsuite solves the problem of managing all of my platforms, yet not duplicating content for a cookie cutter look.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a small business or agency and use more that 4-5 social media platforms, Hootsuite is a required tool for for your Toolbox. They just started supporting Instagram, and that is a key feature for a couple clients of ours.

What do you like best about the product?
If you're looking for a tool that allows you to share and schedule content to multiple channels, Hootsuite is great. It now allows you to see a preview of your scheduled posts in the Publisher view which is helpful when you're trying to curate a consistent look to your social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting features are somewhat lacking and a bit unsophisticated - so much so that I often go back to my social media accounts to verify that the information is correct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The nice thing is that you can set up your reports to be sent to your email at the end of each month. A good reminder to stay on top of your stats.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider whether you need a tool to help you post or whether you need a tool that helps you post and keep track of your results.
