Intuitive One-Stop Social Planner with a Great Calendar and AI Caption Help
What do you like best about the product?
I am a one person internal marketing team, so I need a one-stop tool to plan my social across different channels. Hootsuite is intuitive, and the calendar tool makes it easy to see my plan in action. It's a fair price with a nice AI tool to help me with captions and content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the connections to my account fall off, but I'm not sure this is a failing of the software so much as a glitch with the integrations. I get email notification, so I can reconnect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time. I'm a one-person team. I don't have time to touch social every day, so I need to plan and then execute. With Hootsuite, I have a reliable partner. I typically plan 6 weeks out with room to schedule more timely posts as needed.
Intuitive Cross-Platform Posting with Room for AI Features
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can cross-post to multiple platforms with Hootsuite. It's incredibly user-friendly and helps me generate reports for the end of the month. As a boutique marketing agency owner, it's been so useful. I also appreciate that it can be an all-in-one platform for managing multiple client accounts, which has been really helpful in saving time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be nice to have a little bit more integrations with AI, like a caption bank generator based off of your brand voice. And maybe a little bit more customizable analytics reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that I can cross-post to multiple platforms. It's incredibly user-friendly and helps me generate monthly reports. It saves time by being an all-in-one platform for managing content across different clients.
Multifunctional Tool with AI Features, Needs Improved Tagging
What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite to schedule content on multiple platforms, which is really convenient. I love being able to schedule posts in advance and the insights it provides to improve performance. The AI feature is great for brainstorming content ideas. I like that Hootsuite is multifunctional with so many valuable features, including the listening tool, AI features, and analytics. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that I could mention pages efficiently through Hootsuite. After the post goes out, I usually have to go within the social media platform like Facebook or LinkedIn to tag/mention pages. Hootsuite doesn't properly support page mentions, which means after every post goes live, I have to leave Hootsuite and go back to the native platform to tag the relevant pages. This adds an extra step that disrupts the workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to schedule posts across platforms, gain performance insights, and generate content ideas with AI features.
Easier cross-channel scheduling and reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a longstanding product that does the job. It makes scheduling and reporting easier, especially across channels, bringing social media management into a single, consolidated place through its integrations. This helps save time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting can vary between Hootsuite and native platform analytics, raising some questions about accuracy in reporting on post performance. The LinkedIn integration is lacking, but that is because of LinkedIn's own policies. When writing drafts, better previewing and autosaving capabilities would be appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes it possible to manage all company social media accounts in one unified place, saving us time as a small team. We don't have to rely on native platform scheduling and measurement features.
Convenient and Time-Saving Social Media Management
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Hootsuite makes it easy to do daily posts by allowing me to schedule them with the planner, which saves me more time than I can even imagine. I love the convenience it offers and the ongoing upgrades that assist me in generating ideas. The ease of responding to messages, likes, or clicks is incredibly helpful. Additionally, when my marketing brain is fried due to other responsibilities at the company, Hootsuite helps me with this part of my job. The initial setup was easy, and I've been using it for 2-3 years now.
What do you dislike about the product?
I could use more training on some of the newer features I haven't even explored yet due to allowing the time. Overall training when you sign up would be nice. Even videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite saves me a lot of time by allowing me to schedule daily posts with just one login. It helps generate ideas when I'm overwhelmed, especially since I juggle many roles.
Robust Social Media Management with Room for Mobile Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Hootsuite's Unified Inbox ensures no message slips through the cracks and makes it easy for me to schedule content across the eight different platforms we use. I like the amount of useful tools Hootsuite has to help my company increase success with its online presence. I really value brand listening and trending topics, as well as Inbox 2.0. The ability to resize content easily based on different platform ratios is also a feature I appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had a few captions be deleted or unsaved. The mobile version is also terrible, missing so many key features that would be easy to add in mobile view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite's Unified Inbox ensures no message slips through, and I can easily schedule content across 8 platforms. I like its useful tools for enhancing my company's online success.
Hootsuite Makes Scheduling and Social Insights Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes it incredibly easy to organize and schedule content, especially with the ability to integrate many apps and accounts. Their insights and metrics dashboard is super helpful as it contains detailed information from our social media accounts. Their pricing is worth all the support and resources available, such as webinars, templates, and informational blogs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is the AI (OwlyGPT). It is very basic and not as innovative as I'd like it to be. I've tried it a few times to draft and improve captions, but the output is subpar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes planning and organizing content as simple as possible, making my job easier by streamlining my workflows and allowing me to get more tasks done more efficiently.
User-Friendly Scheduling with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I find Hootsuite user-friendly, which makes it easy to use. I like that it allows me to schedule social media posts days, weeks, and even months in advance, ensuring our social media accounts run seamlessly. I also enjoy that Hootsuite can utilize multiple social media platforms, which is very convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how I can't schedule in minute-increments, only 5-minute increments. I would like to be able to schedule posts to go up in minute-increments, such as 12:01, 12:02, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to schedule posts days, weeks, and months in advance, which keeps our social media running smoothly.
Reliable Scheduling, Helpful Analytics, and Customizable AI Prompts
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy being able to reliably schedule my posts, and I use the analytics page to easily gather the information necessary for my department leaders to see. I also like Hootsuite incorporation of customizable ai prompting for posts so that they feel unique and less computer-written.
What do you dislike about the product?
Over the past year, they've scaled back a few UI considerations that I used regularly to speedily make posts. Integrating a small trash button on the thumbnails helped me to quickly remove photos that I couldn't post, now they've removed it and it requires extra navigation. This is particularly painful since they previously automatically populated only the maximum number of photos that could be posted to Twitter (X) and Instagram, so I'd upload all the photos I wanted, then double-check all three social media platforms that I use, and I was good-to-go. Now I have to go through and select photos for each platform. I'm still not certain why this change was made, but it adds a lot of time to my posting across platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It prevents me from having to do three-times the work I would normally do for the school district where I work by integrating features across multiple platforms; Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and allowing me to tailor posts to each one all at once. It also provide me with cross-platform analytics that are easy to understand. I've also quite enjoyed their yearly Social Media Trends book and a number of their online workshops.
Easy-to-Use Social Scheduling with Reliable Performance and Smart Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
the ability to manage numerous page for companies and people in one location for LinkedIn, but also have connections for company pages across the social platforms. The price structure is reasonable though it took a while to get the platform representative to understand our goals and use case. I have not used the ai integrations but having them built in and knowing the platform is working to stay ahead of trending technology is great. The user interface is easy to understand and follow. The performance is consistent in that most posts are made as scheduled with little hiccups.
What do you dislike about the product?
When something fails to post, there isn't an easy way to repost it. I wish we could edit posts as one if they were scheduled as one instead of having to go into each one to make an edit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the biggest problem that Hootsuite solves is scheduling posts across multiple personal LinkedIn accounts without having to log into each account. The time saved is crucial to our workflow and productivity.
