Great for Social Media Marketing, But Video Editing Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
It is a user friendly one stop shop for SM marketing. I use it daily and post to most platform. The integration from platform to platform has improved greatly over the last two years.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had ALL the Canva capabilities. Some things seem to be missing. And the video editor is not easy. I never use it. I don't even understand it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting to all platforms at once and tracking what works.
Efficient Multi-Platform Scheduling, But 30-Minute Wait Is Limiting
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to quickly schedule social content for multiple platforms quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there is a waiting period of at least 30 minutes to schedule content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I currently don't have a problem that Hootsuite is solving that I know of.
User-Friendly and Affordable, But Occasional Post Failures
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and budget friendly. This tool is one the better priced dashboards out there. Calendar view is helpful and new tiktok integration is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have on more than one occasion had scheduled posts fail to send - Usually that generates an email notification, but sometimes I do not receive them. I also have had platforms disconnect for no reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One main dashboard to view all social channels in one place. I love the calendar view to see high level of what is going out during the week and appreciate the app as well for when I am on the go.
Great Collaboration and AI Tools, But Recent UI Changes Disappoint
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Hootsuite is that it is easy to tag social media accounts and add members as collaborators within the platform. I like the analytics that are built into the platform as well. I also like how many AI tools it has incorporated to make it easier for social media managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I find frustrating are the updates that were made June 2024. I wish they had left the dark background on the far-left side section where the different navigation tools are located. I find the "all white" to make it harder to easily see the different tools. The photo upload application can also be tricky since it sometimes pops up at the very bottom of my screen and I have to scroll down to be sure I can upload properly. Also, I have issues trying to activate Facebook accounts. I can take a few times to get Hootsuite to give me the correct account. I have tried adding "-" and sometimes that works better and the same with LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
N/A
Effortless Social Scheduling, But App Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite helps me work smarter and not harder. I use it to schedule LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, & Facebook posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a fan of the Hootsuite App. I don't think it's reliable or user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I juggle many assignments at my job, and Hootsuite makes managing my company's social media both efficient and fun!
Effortless Multi-Platform Scheduling, But Photo Editing Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule content on multiple platforms at one time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The in-house photo-editing capabilities are fairly limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to plan and schedule content across multiple platforms at one time saving me time and energy.
Great Multi-Platform Scheduling, But Instagram Photo Limit Frustrates
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate being able to schedule the same post to go live on multiple platforms simultaneously. This makes ease of cross-platform functions accessible, as well as knowing I can start checking analytics at the same time on all the apps. I also appreciate the reports that you can build out for metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that I still can't post more than 10 photos on Instagram through Hootsuite is frustrating, especially since this feature has been available in the Instagram app itself for quite a while. This limitation means I have to spend extra time downloading the photos to my phone and then use the Instagram app directly to schedule my posts, rather than being able to do it all through Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all my posts managed in a single, centralized location makes it much easier to handle multiple platforms simultaneously, as well as to manage scheduling and track analytics. This setup has helped me develop a more thorough content calendar and streamline my scheduling process.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Higher pricing than many alternatives
Hootsuite has increased its prices over time, and it can feel expensive—especially for small businesses, solo creators, and freelancers.
2. Learning curve
Because it’s feature-heavy, the interface can feel overwhelming at first compared to simpler tools like Buffer or Later.
3. Limited features on lower-tier plans
Some key features (advanced analytics, more profiles, team collaboration) require higher-priced plans.
4. UX/UI feels dated to some users
Although it has improved, some users feel the dashboard isn’t as modern or intuitive as newer platforms.
5. Social listening limitations without add-ons
Hootsuite has listening tools, but deep listening/monitoring often needs expensive upgrades or integrations.
6. Mobile app isn’t as strong as the desktop version
Some tasks are harder to do on mobile, making on-the-go management less smooth.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing many social accounts/platforms
When you have multiple social profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, etc.), juggling logins, content calendars and posting times becomes complex.

Feels like having a second pair of hands for social media
What do you like best about the product?
I started using Hootsuite when juggling multiple pages started to feel like a circus act. Between the Shantilal Muttha Foundation and Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana, there’s always something happening: events, updates, impact stories. Hootsuite made that chaos make sense. I can see all our platforms in one view, plan posts ahead, and not worry about missing a day. It’s oddly satisfying to watch the content calendar fill up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app isn’t as smooth as I wish it were. It works, but when I’m traveling or trying to tweak a scheduled post quickly, it sometimes lags or feels cramped. I’ve learned to just wait till I’m back on my laptop. Also, LinkedIn posts don’t always preview the way I want inside Hootsuite. It’s a small thing, but I care about how our visuals and text line up. Those little details matter when you’re managing brand pages that represent so many people’s work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s become the heartbeat of how I manage our communication on social media. For the foundations, social media isn’t just about marketing, it’s about storytelling, community, and education. Hootsuite helps me keep that rhythm steady. It saves time, yes, but more importantly, it helps us stay intentional. Every post, every reply, every campaign feels more organized and thought through.
Sometimes I look back at our old way of working with scattered spreadsheets, reminders, and frantic last-minute uploads, and I can’t imagine going back. Now, we have space to think about why we’re posting, not just when. That’s the part I value most. It’s not just software. It’s structure, in the best possible way.

Hootsuite helps me stay on top of everything
What do you like best about the product?
I handle several client accounts every day, and it’s such a relief to see everything in one place. I usually start my day by opening the dashboard with my coffee, and it gives me a clear view of what’s scheduled, what’s performing well, and what still needs work.
The calendar view is a big help. It’s simple, and I can move posts around without any fuss. It makes planning feel less stressful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile app could be better. It’s nice for quick checks or replying to comments, but it doesn’t feel as smooth. Sometimes when I’m on the go and want to edit a scheduled post or switch between accounts, it lags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me and my team at Sound Horn, Hootsuite has made a real difference. We manage social media for different brands, and before this, it always felt messy. Now I can plan a full week of content in one go, and things actually run on time.
Clients like seeing the reports because it helps them understand what’s working. It’s also given us more time to focus on the creative stuff like writing better posts or planning campaigns that feel fresh. Hootsuite makes my days smoother and gives me more space to think, which honestly matters a lot when you’re doing social media full time.
