Makes social media marketing go much faster, but buggy
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to push an update to multiple platforms at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some issues with Facebook integration that they were unable to resolve in a timely manner; I had to switch to other apps for a while until the issue was solved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it much faster to post new products to all of my social media accounts, which increases sales and customer engagement.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can monitor all of our social media platform from one screen. I also love that I can post to all with one click.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like it all. There is nothing about this product that I don't love.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a law enforcement agency, so getting information out as quickly and efficiently as possible is key for us. Hootsuite allows instant posting, which gets our messages out FAST!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how vast Hootsuite is. You can use Hootsuite for social media analytics, posting, sharing or blogging, measuring your performance, content management, I can go on for days. I downloaded the mobile Hootsuite app for Android to my cell phone, as well as added the Chrome extension to my browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am actually having one issue currently with content that posts to my company Facebook pages. When I use the AutoSchedule feature and this includes a little backlink that will send clickers to the desired location - my problem is when I use this feature for Facebook, it does not include the Owly Link. Only on Twitter does it include the link. I contacted support but he was asking for a screenshot and at the time I was unable to further assist him with the information he needed. I will revisit and contact support at a later date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite across multiple platforms including my cellular device and my desktop computer via the Hootsuite Chrome extension. I use the tool to share, re-blog, post, and create content. I also love the ease of measuring your analytics. No new vocabulary to learn or fancy gimmicks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend adding Hootsuite to the budget if social media (content) managing is in your line of work. They take loads off your shoulders with their easy-to-use extension, mobile app, support bot, help desk, and AutoSchedule Feature. Also the different Streams you're able to use or create can come in handy.

What do you like best about the product?
I like things that are intuitive and easy to master, and Hootsuite is both of those things, most of the time. I'm also blown away by their customer service. I've had both billing and technical concerns addressed clearly and promptly, via email - just super easy and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like initial setup is a little clunky but really that's so not a big deal because once it's the way you want it, it's awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because I can schedule my posts for all different platforms, I can really figure out which audiences I want to reach when, and then can easily execute that plan. Hootsuite enables me to plan, seamlessly, without wasting time on the logistics.

The best aspect of Hootesuite is the ability to schedule posts well in advance of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unless you pay for the unlimited plan, it is impossible to gain access to as many accounts as needed.

The ability to share content between the third party company helping us put content out there.

Linking up accounts between the different social media platforms.

In theory it is supposed to eliminate a staff member from having to actively post. It can all be automated.
Powerful tool, clumsy application
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can schedule posts across different social channels. As a social media manager for various clients, that is important. I mainly use it for scheduling to Instagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like that you can’t schedule videos or more than 1 photo or non-square photos to Instagram. Sometimes the application is a little clumsy or non-intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling for Instagram, that’s been the main benefit.
A good software with room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is easy. I manage around 10 social media platforms for my business and Hootsuite allows me to post to multiple accounts at once. My favorite feature is the streams. The streams allow you to view all of your platforms on your dashboard. This makes it easy to monitor all social media activity and stay up to date with trends and news.
What do you dislike about the product?
I manage 3 different Facebook accounts but I am only able to schedule posts to one at a time. I can post to a Twitter, Facebook, & Instagram account at the same time but only one Facebook. My concern going forward with Hootsuite is its ability to stay up to speed with competitors. For the price, competitors offer much more up to date features. I also always experience glitches when posting to our Instagram Business accounts. Many times, the photos don't post or a reminder is never sent. It has been inconsistent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage all of my companies social media platforms on Hootsuite. I schedule posts for the entire month at once which makes content consistency a breeze.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you only have basic social media needs, Hootsuite will definitely work for you. For the price, competitors offer a wider array of features. Hootsuite has room for improvement to stay up to speed.

Able to schedule in advance, toggle between many profiles and platforms

Can't use with instagram, usability changes every time social platforms change

Can set things up ahead of time before vacations/closings, can cater to different time zones.
Great for instagram management
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to post media to all my networks at once, but being able to modify each for maximum impact. The link shortener and tracking is a bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
A huge thing is not being able to like and comment on Instagram posts from Hootsuite. I know it is an Instagram rule. It can be a bit slow at times, as well.

It's much easier to keep track of my media when it's all in one place on one platform.
