Efficient Content Management, Needs More Features

  • April 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how user-friendly Hootsuite is, and it didn't take me long to understand how to use it. It makes my time more efficient because I can post on various platforms with just the click of a button. Also, the analytics feature helps me a lot with my monthly reports, definitely making the process easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the one thing that Hootsuite can do to make it better is adding an ability to post on YouTube shorts. That would be hugely beneficial. Also, being able to attach sounds to certain videos or carousels, like on TikTok and Instagram, would be amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Hootsuite makes my time more efficient by allowing me to post content on various platforms with just a click. It also helps with gathering analytics for monthly reports, simplifying the process.

Our team collaborates seamlessly on social content

  • April 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The integrated dashboard of Hootsuite to manage various social media accounts is a marvelously efficient tool. I am able to post on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn all in the same place, and it saves me a lot of time. The content calendar option is excellent and allows us to plan the social strategy beforehand. The tracking of different streams, such as brand mentions and competitor activity also occurs naturally making sure that we do not drop a beat in our social engagement activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have discovered that the in-house analytics are good, but they may be simplistic to get really in-depth performance data on basic plans. This process of customizing reports to acquire extremely specific data sometimes can be restrictive and may need an upgrade or supplementary tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We would often find ourselves in a lot of trouble trying to manage social media in bits, switching accounts to post and comment. Prior to Hootsuite, our team was squandering hours scheduling each post manually and had regularly missed crucial customer interactions. Hootsuite now unites all our social activities.

  • April 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the tagging feature and the analytical dashboards in Hootsuite. Scheduling ahead of time and recommendations on times to schedule are also really useful. The analytical dashboards provide data that I can share within our team, which helps guide the style of content that works. The initial setup was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
the inability to schedule carousel posts on TikTok. I also wish we could tag posts that have been uploaded manually, or have come through from collabs on Instagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite for scheduling posts ahead of time and it provides analytics. It helps us share data within our team to guide on content style, and features like tagging, analytical dashboards, and scheduling recommendations enhance our workflow.

Easy-to-Use Desktop Experience with a Clear, Visual Posting Overview

  • April 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite, on a desktop is easy to use and provides a clear, visual overview of upcoming posts. It was easy to connect to multiple social media platforms and provides accurate scheduling recommendations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite, when used on the mobile version is clunky and difficult to navigate. There is no calendar overview and information is hard to find and access. It would be more helpful if the calendar function was accessible or if there was an option to access the desktop version on cell phones or ipads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite provides one place to update across social media platforms, reducing time spent going from one site to another. It also provides metrics about popular times and topics on which to post about.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite for everything from scheduling posts weekly to big reveals. The UI is so interactive, making it a great way to schedule many posts at once. The initial setup was exceptionally easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The spreadsheet to post uploader! I'd love to be able to generate a spreadsheet of posts and upload it to tackle everything for a week at once! This would seriously up my weekly output.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to schedule weekly posts and manage everything from expansion to client management. The customer support is fantastic, and it was incredibly easy to integrate with my existing social media network.

Streamlined Media Monitoring and Easy Post Scheduling

  • April 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Hootsuite is to use and how quickly I can just pop a post in and it's there. The AI feature is really amazing because it lets me plan posts, gives me ideas, and even provides a caption, which is very useful. Forbs stats is also great because I can easily extract the stats needed for tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't comment after a post, so you can't comment on your post. Also, for some social media platforms like X (a.k.a. Twitter) and Instagram, you can't verify you've tagged the right person because it doesn't come up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite for media monitoring and scheduling posts. It lets us plan ahead, track market activities, and easily create content with AI-generated captions. It's easy to use and provides useful stats for tracking.

Versatile Tool with Effective Scheduling

  • April 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite for social media scheduling, insights, tracking, analysis, and approval/QA streams. I love that it allows us to schedule posts instead of manually posting, which ensures we're posting at optimal times. It provides detailed insights into post performance and lets us segment content with tags to see what's working well, helping us build a "magic formula" for engaging posts. I like that Hootsuite can be as simple or as complex as I want it to be. It's easy to use for basic functions even if you've never used a similar system before, but you can also dive deeper into its features for a comprehensive view of your social media performance. There's a weekly score on the dashboard providing an overview of content performance, which is immediately available upon login, offering a quick indicator of recent performance without having to go digging around. Additionally, I can customize by tagging each post and building dashboards to compare stats, identifying what's performing well. The initial setup of Hootsuite was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are occasional bugs, like posts that have been scheduled or approved not going out. Also, there's an annoying glitch where if you're editing a post that's been sent for approval and it's due to go out soon, it won't let you save your edits or approve it in its original form, meaning it expires and needs to be redone. This can be frustrating if you've set up an approval stream as it ends up wasting multiple people's time. There are also occasional drop-outs of connections to social platforms meaning posts don't go out. There's also a slight delay in publishing, for example, if we schedule a post to go out at 2 pm, it'll quite often go at 2:02 or something like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite schedules posts for optimal timing and provides detailed insights on performance. It allows content segmentation with tags to refine engagement strategies. I appreciate its balance of simplicity and complexity, letting me grasp social media performance at a glance or dive deeper for specifics.

Streamlined Social Media Management with Hootsuite

  • April 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really love the social listening aspect of Hootsuite. The planner and calendar stand out to me as well; they're different from platforms I've used before, and I really enjoy that. I also like how, on the homepage, Hootsuite offers ideas of things we could post that tie into our current themes, especially since we're in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. I really love these features that Hootsuite offers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Personally, the OwlyGPT feature doesn’t provide much value to me at this point, and I find myself utilizing it the least.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows us a better view for managing multiple brands' social media and ensures draft posts don't go live without scheduling, helping us navigate compliance checks. Its analytics provide accurate data for our reports.

Great for Scheduling Social Content for companies managing multiple brands

  • April 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has been really useful for scheduling social media content across multiple brands that I manage.

I especially like that I can make small tweaks to the copy and the media for each platform, so posts feel better suited to where they’re being published.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of social platforms you can connect to isn't limitless. Working across multiple brands, we have had to be selective about which channels to connect in our account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has really simplified scheduling across multiple channels, and it’s helped me and my team collaborate more effectively on campaigns. It also makes it easier for us to cover for one another when needed.

Streamlined Social Media Management with Robust Features

  • April 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Hootsuite has so many features and an academy to learn and study cases to replicate what works. It allows me to see more than 100 accounts in one place, which is essential for my position, and I can manage social media efficiently, scheduling posts, automating direct messages, and using boost and ads features. The ability to check analytics and have everything organized in one platform is a huge time-saver. The initial setup was really easy, and I find it user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The percentage of engagement rate sometimes feels inflated for me. I try to understand what is the calculation because sometimes I see a post with 600% engagement rate but only 3 likes, and I always wonder why. I write to the help team, and yes I receive explanation but does look inflated. It can be good to have a better vision of the calculation if needed inside Hootsuite, because sometimes I need to go to the original post in admin view to check if it is real or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to manage social media in one place, saving time with features like scheduling posts, managing the inbox, and checking analytics. It keeps all my accounts organized, and I can create content from scratch easily.
