What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use and number of features that are included in the tool. The ease of implemention made it so easy for us to use right away when we got set up. I use the tool daily in my social media work and it really makes my life as a social media manger easier. Their customer support is great as well as they are very helpful. Hootsuite is a tool that has easily been integrated into my team and we are happy to have it as a way to manage all of our social media accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult sometimes as they have API issues, but overall it's a good tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Socal listening, social media account management, reporting
Easy to use and extremely helpful resources
What do you like best about the product?
I feel love its ease of use when scheduling content. We have also found it easy to implement the product into our social media programming. One great thing about the tool is all their resources that are available to customers - from the ideal times to schedule, to their AI writing resources for building posts, bios and hastags. It makes content development so much more efficient while also being optimized for the channels for better performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that Hootsuite could work on is being able to add tags to content posted in the Amplify content respository. Furthermore, it would be much appreciated if analytics reports had more insights for Linkedin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it easier for our team to schedule posts that align with our global company (i.e. posting during business hours for different regions), optimizing content for increased engagement (hashtag suggestions, best time to post, etc)., offer ambassadors a content repository to repost on their social channels
Great platform to manage 1000s of accounts.
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows our team to schedule and manage social media posts for over 1000 pages posting 2+ times per week. It is a huge time saver!
What do you dislike about the product?
It took our team a while to have all of our accounts connected in Hootsuite, but since it has been up and running, it has been great. Would advise to plan for a good amount of time to set up an account.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Hootsuite is their interface. It's up-to-date, easy to navigate and makes my job as social media manager easy. I use Hootsutie everyday whether it's posting, community management or reviewing and analyzing previous content. I like how easy the analytics dashboard is and understanding what our KPIs are. Customer Support has been incredible as our account executive does all that he can to ensure we are successfuly utilizing the tool. There also wasn't a major learning curve with Hootsuite. Once, our contract begin, we are able to implement it into my every day role. I also like the recent updates to the platform, most specifically the social score.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a better connection between Meta and Hootsuite in terms of technical support. Hootsuite intergrates beautifully into Meta. Any glitches tend to be on Meta's side of the product and I wish there was a way we could have a direct support to them for those issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have approximately 150 locations across our brand's franchise system. Each one of those locations gets an individual Facebook page. Hootsuite is the ideal product to manage that number of pages. It allows me to post mass communication across the system in the most effecient and effective way. It also pulls content to the platform that is posted natively allowing me to see what the individual pages may be posting themselves.

What do you like best about the product?
It is hard to pick what I like best. I use 'Approvals' and 'Analytics' the most as someone over a team of 4 and those tools are great. The 'Analytics' section is intuitive, easy to use, and comprehensive. I use "Approvals' across 7 brands and 20+ accounts and it is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I don't like about Hootsuite. I have used Falcon and Sprout Social and they are fine, but Hootsuite surpasses them in number of features and UX in my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It feels really easy to understand performance with the Analytics offerings. I use the Insights offerings a bit less but when I do use them they are easy to navigate and understandable. I like how the insights link out easily and directly to relevant content.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the user-friendly interface, multi-account support, post automation, analytics, collab features (for approvals), and customer support
What do you dislike about the product?
While it offers a lot of useful features, it does take a while to learn. Sometimes it glitches out too, and I wish the app integrations were more seamless.

Hootsuite for Higher Ed Social Media Management
What do you like best about the product?
Out of the big players for social media management tools, I chose Hootsuite because it had all the features I needed and was cheaper for a larger team. I am the institutional social media manager at a university, and many smaller accounts and managers exist across campus. I can add all the campus accounts and managers to the institutional Hootsuite account, which is much cheaper than everyone paying for their own tool. I also find it helpful to have access to the other campus accounts through Hootsuite, so I can pull holistic university reports and intervene during a crisis. I enjoy the custom permissions I can give each user, allowing me to have a layered team structure. We have the Insights add-on, and that makes social media listening so much easier. Student interns have been able to pick up the platform easily, and the training/certification that Hootsuite offers is a nice bonus. I appreciate that Hootsuite is constantly working to improve its platform by adding new features and integrations. I've used a few different tools during my time as a social media manager, and Hootsuite has been a great fit for our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I export analytics reports, the column order shuffles. I wish it would stay consistent. Also, I wish the dashboard was more customizable. Since I have a bunch of campus accounts connected to our Hootsuite but only actively oversee the institutional university accounts, I would like to be able to select which accounts I want to be highlighted on the dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media listening is worlds easier with insights! And just having everything gathered in one place is a must.

What do you like best about the product?
The Analytics reporting is comprehensive - I particularly love the automated reporting feature that allows us to send custom reports to various stakeholders. It's a great way to showcase data and also provide insights and analysis.

There is a bit of a learning curve involved for new users.

It allows for multiple team members to have a centralized platform for scheduling social media posts across multiple channels. It's also a great tool for social media monitoring and listening. We extensively use the analytics for reporting out to stakeholders about the effectiveness of their social media campaigns.
Easy System to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is an easy system to use, it allows me to upload my scheduled posts in a time efficient manner. It also enables me to see what other posts are scheduled in within the business so posts aren't published at the same time. There is also a handy tool to show when is the best days/ times to post on different platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system can sometimes be slow when writing up posts. And sometimes errors do occur when the system changes my access, however this does seem to be recificted by the Hootsuite team quickly when I notify our head office.

Allows us to post more throughout the business in a easier manner, I can also see what other regions are posting so posts aren't going out at the same time
