Hootsuite helps speed up social media management
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite helps speed up the process of managing social media platforms. I no longer need to set up each and every post on each platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some platforms that are not natively supported (or supported at all) on hootsuite. this includes YouTube Community and twitter-alternatives like Bluesky. If those platforms could also be supported, I would give it a 10/10.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves tremendous amount of time posting on multiple platforms
Using Hootsuite as a Social Media Manager
What do you like best about the product?
I like Hootsuite because it allows me to mange the social media posts across brands easily, and it also provides analysis functions (e.g. Top 3 posts, compare with competitors etc.). I use it very frequently on a weekly basis to post.
Our company has 3 brands in the same industry so being able to see all the posts on our planner is very helpful so that there are no clashes. They also have functions to allow comparing of our social media metrics across different customised dates, so that's been very helpful in social media performance reporting!
The UI is in such a way that it's very clear and easy to adopt as well as a new beginner, so that makes it easier to integrate into our existing processes and implement more effective systems of social media monitoring.
Customer support is helpful, though could be a bit faster.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the UI for the analytics could be improved so that I can customise my dashboard even more easily. Currently it's great already but there's a bit of difficulty in the placement of the metrics where I want them to be on the grid. The selection of date for the comparative analysis is also difficult because I can't key in the exact date I want to compare, I have to click through the calendar and it's quite a chose when I want to compare last year's data with this year's data. I have to click >20 times.
I like zooming out to see the bigger picture, but when I zoom out on my computer, the interface remains the same size so it's a bit iffy at times when I want to be able to see everything in one glance.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to manage a few different brands' (in the same industry) social media platforms requires a lot of planning to ensure there are no clashes in the posts. Hootsuite allows me to schedule and see everything at once glance so I can better schedule our company's content.
Furthermore, the analytics function is helpful in social media reporting, which is extremely tedious when done manually (which I have tried).

Great software for basic social media management
What do you like best about the product?
The layout of the platform, particularly the calendar function is incredibly nice to look at and easy to use. It makes planning the week's social media calendar very simple. I'm a very visual person so I love thus, The analytics reports are also very user-friendly and simple to generate. It does give you quite a few data points to look at, and having a platform generate that data for you and export it into a visually pleasing and understandable report saves me an incredible amount of time.
One of my favorite parts is that when you're composing a new post, it shows you a preview of how the posts will look on each platform you're posting to. I often make edits to my posts based on how those previews look. It's a great feature.
I will also add that I've been to a few of Hootsuite's free webinars that they hold on social media management, and I appreciate those opportunities very much. Some are more general and some are more in-depth and specific, but I can tell they are all well thought out. It means a lot that the Hootsuite team genuinely cares about its users.

What do you dislike about the product?
I've had a couple issues with the data. Sometimes an analytics report will give me numbers that don't make sense and I won't notice until I'm preparing an engagement report. However, if I refresh the auto-generated report, the numbers will correct. Not sure why it does this sometimes but this is something to keep in mind while using the analytics feature. Also, I tend to export my reports as a PowerPoint because Hootsuite makes them look all nice and pretty and easy to look at, but the reports tend to come out all jumbled with slides out of order and completely mixed up. There is some work involved with preparing those reports, you can't always just export them and send them on their way as is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I oversee many Facebook subpages and also generate content for my organization's main social media pages, so I'm often very busy. Without Hoosuite, I cannot even tell you how disorganized and busy I would be.
Makes Scheduling a Breeze!
What do you like best about the product?
We are a small non-profit with a social media presence. We have been using Hootsuite for several years now and we love it. I can develop and schedule a month's worth of posts at a time and get that off my plate. It was easy to connect all our social media accounts so that everything is in one place. There is nothing else like it on the market that we would even consider using!
What do you dislike about the product?
The product has become somewhat cost prohibitive over the past couple of years. Thankfully, as a non-profit, the company has worked with us to keep costs down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management. I can schedule a month or more at a time which saves me time in the long run.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite's Planner is the feature I appreciate most. It allows us to efficiently manage future scheduling across 10 different social channels, offering both a comprehensive overview of all scheduled content and the flexibility to focus on specific channels as needed. The drag-and-drop functionality makes rescheduling effortless, which is especially useful when plans change. Additionally, the ability to schedule content months or even years in advance helps with long-term planning. Another valuable feature is the image adjustment tools, which allow for quick edits without needing to use Photoshop, saving time and streamlining the content creation process.
We use the platform continually not just for planning and managing our calendar, but also social monitoring as well to see what our fans are saying about us and how they're engagin with our content.

I wish hootsuite offered more integration options to allow us to use BlueSky and YouTube more effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary thing is giving us a one stop location to schedule and monitor everything. That is a huge time saver for our small team.
Save your Time
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite saves me time by allowing me to manage multiple social media accounts and crosspost simultaneously, which ultimately saves me a lot of time and energy. Plus the AI tools give me unique ideas for post descriptions
What do you dislike about the product?
Its a bit pricey, but still a great value for what they offer.

Crossposting on multiple social media accounts and giving me fresh ideas for post descriptions. Its a big time saver.
Great platform that has saved a lot of time
What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling tool is my favorite part of the platform because it saves me so much time.

I think sometimes the data is incorrect and there seems to be a pop up sometimes about how it's not accurate

I don't have to go in to all 5 platforms to schedule a post and it saves me time.
Good experience
What do you like best about the product?
Love the fact I can schedule content in any time and any way, and is very helpful that I can replicate old messages and visualize all social media accounts in one calendar.

Sometimes links are not recognize due to a rare characters or typos, it is mainly with spanish words that use accents.

it allows me to have more time to dedicate for other activities.
Time Saving!
What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy to post post to all of our brand channels as well and the ability to quickly edit per social channel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally disconnects, but not a deal breaker.

Time saving and quickly accessing anaylics as well as posting to numerouse Google Business Listing accounts.
