What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, scheduling works well. Extra features included are nice, not always as useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
They buried some useful stuff, I've already sent suggestions to the team so I hope they utilize that feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Putting all of your social pages together is extremely useful and efficient. Inbox needs some work though, setting up autoreplies (or making it clearer how to do so) would be a big plus. Implementing AI chatbots maybe?

Efficient Social Media Management

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Hootsuite is very simple to use, but also gives me in-depth analytics about followers and trends. I appreciate the combined inbox feature, which makes it easier to respond to messages and comments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to find better ways to connect Instagram accounts that don't involve using my personal Facebook accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite for content planning and scheduling, solving the issue of toggling between sites. It simplifies tapping into Hootsuite's algorithm knowledge. I like its simplicity and analytics that offer insights into followers and trends.

Hootsuite is Great for Nonprofit Use!

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use and very user-friendly. I use Hootsuite in my role with a nonprofit and it makes content so easy. All of our staff have been able to learn how to use it quickly and have had no issues with navigating the site. I appreciate that I can access all my inboxes, analytics and publishing tools all in the same site. I use Hootsuite daily and I wouldn't think about using anything else!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes ti's difficuly to upload videos through the planner but that issue is minute compared to our overall use of the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes it easy to plan social media in advance. I can plan out a month's worth of content at once in an easy, visually beneficial way, which opens up time for me to work on other projects and priorities.

Fast, Easy, Simple

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that I am able to post to all my social media platforms from a single post, and track resulting activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's fast, easy and simple. No real downsides.

Great tool for analytics, not the best for scheduling

What do you like best about the product?
I like the depth of the analytics across all platforms. It is also a very easy platform to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduling posts does not always work and when it does, it takes 10-15 minutes for the posts to show. There is also no way to add links, account mentions, or product tags to stories. There is also a limit smaller than what Instagram offers, for how many photos and product tags you can add to posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is solving the problem of posting seperately on each platform and allows for crossposting across all platforms at one time. They also solve the problem of schedulign posts, aside from the limitations mentioned before. They also have good AI caption and hashtags writing.

What do you like best about the product?
Very straightforward and simple, useful tool for scheduling posts. Duplication features are nice, and the media library is helpful. As someone who posts for multiple clients almost daily, this is a huge time-saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the recent past, Hootsuite had an unacceptably high rate of failed postings due to errors on their end; and worse, the notification emails would often not send to alert users the post didn't go live. I experienced this many times in 2023 into 2024. But these have been largely ironed out; posts fail much less frequently in recent months.

There's also way more AI being shoehorned into every corner of this product. Stop that; your users don't want it, and their followers are adverse to it. And those that do try it quickly discover that the AI writing is stilted and often inaccurate, and followers can quickly tell what images are AI-created (and have a significantly negative reaction to them that can cause brand damage).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time in that pre-approved content can be scheduled, and not sent in-the moment every day.

The ease of posting on multiple channels.
As an everyday tool, it is very efficient.
The ease of linking a new social platform.

On occasion, the unexpected 'failed to post' can be annoying, especially on a weekend.

Saving time when scheduling multiple social media posts on different accounts but of the same brand.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has been invaluable for managing my social media accounts effectively. I also appreciate how Hootsuite consolidates analytics from various platforms in one place, allowing me to access accurate performance data at a glance.

It's helpful to see which posts are performing best and identify areas for improvement. This insight is crucial for refining my strategy and maximizing engagement.

Additionally, the built-in holiday calendar is a fantastic feature. It keeps me organized and ensures that I never miss an opportunity to participate in seasonal events or trends, which helps make my content more relevant and timely. Hootsuite has streamlined my social media management and significantly enhanced my online presence. Highly recommended!
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite has a few areas where it falls short for me. One of my biggest frustrations is the tendency for the platform to disconnect my accounts. While I understand this might not be entirely Hootsuite's fault—considering the frequent updates —reconnecting everything can be disruptive and time-consuming.

Another area that I feel needs improvement is the analytics for livestreams. Currently, the analytics offered just don't meet my needs. I would like a more detailed breakdown, specifically the peak view counts during the live stream, rather than just an overall number afterward. This information would help me gauge the effectiveness of my content in real-time and make necessary adjustments on the fly.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has been an invaluable tool for managing our company's social media presence, especially on LinkedIn. The platform is incredibly intuitive and easy to use, making content planning and scheduling seamless. I appreciate how it allows me to stay organized and maintain a consistent posting schedule without the hassle of manual uploads, allowing me to schedule a number of posts in one timeslot. Rather than having to constantly think about posting, I could schedule time in my calendar just a few times a month and get my social media content plan actioned.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only minor issue I've encountered is that, on rare occasions, our company accounts become unlinked, requiring a quick reset. However, this is a small inconvenience compared to the overall efficiency and convenience Hootsuite provides, and generally the system is easy to integrate and relink the accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps solve the challenge of efficiently managing and scheduling social media content, particularly for our company’s LinkedIn presence. Instead of manually posting and tracking updates, the platform allows me to plan, schedule, and organize content in advance, ensuring a consistent and professional online presence. This saves time and reduces the risk of missing important posts.
