Great for scheduling and reviewing posts
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a real life-saver for smaller orgs. As a nonprofit, Hootsuite helps us support our sponsors, mission, and vision by being able to schedule necessary posts for the entire year. It's a great source to help take workload off our plates. Additionally, Hootsuite often shows posts/comments that are harder to find in Meta Business Suite and are sometimes hidden in Twitter, Insta, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite unfortunately has to deal with issues on other platforms that affect their own performance, sometimes causing scheduled messages to miss their post (you get notified.) Every so often cookies block the image from being included in the post. My biggest wish is that Hootsuite would develop a library of partners handles, as Insta and Twitter don't link until it's posted (ex: the ability to load all business handles so we don't have to research every time.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a nonprofit, Hootsuite helps us solve problems that don't always plague medium/large orgs. The ability to schedule out messages along helps decrease the workload and help our organization look much larger and productive to the outside eye.
Helpful Program for Social Media Management
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes posting to multiple platforms much easier and allows me to save so much time, it also has helpful features like link shorterners, ai rewriting, and hashtag suggestions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some issues posting sometimes I also think itʻs a bit expensive for what is does and there is a similar option with Canva that I might try switiching over to since it wouldnʻt be an extra charge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting all at once saves me a lot of time and effort. Also can help improve my posts by shortening links, etc.
Easy way to manage social posts
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows our tiny marketing team to work so much more efficiently. We can quickly type up our base version of a post and tweak it for each social site in a matter of minutes. Hootsuite even suggests an optimal time to post for each platform and offers optional AI writing assistance. We would easily take twice as long to manage our social accounts without the help of Hootsuite.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our leadership was hesitant with the cost, especially since Hootsuite requires an annual payment (no monthly option). Once they realized how mission-critical the platform was for our SMB's ability to stay on top of social, they agreed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite saves us so much time with planning and posting on all our company's social accounts! We can generally get a full month's worth of posts scheduled in the span of one day now.
Time Saver
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can schedule to business as well as personal Facebook and Instagram pages for my client and I don't have a 30 day restriction like with Meta.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't seem to find the answer how to schedule FB stories and when I tried adding a thumbnail to various posts, it doesn't seem to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that it saves me time. Meta only works with FB and IG while with Hootesuite, I can also schedule on X and Linked in and on FB and IG personal pages.
The best planning website for your socials!
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to make posts in here and schedule them directly to your social channels of choice
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive but worth the money in my opinion
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing several different social channels at once for several different clients. Before I got hootsuite, I was going into each account separately and posting at the time of post, rather than scheduling ahead of time. Hootsuite also makes it easy to respond to all your audiences all in one place
An easy scheduling tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule posts across multiple platforms has never been easier! Navigating through the analytics is also very seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've faced issues with posts failing, accounts disconnecting randomly and some analytics within time frames not loading in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross -posting across multiple social media platforms is very easy through hootsuite - I'm able to schedule posts across 5 platforms at once without any trouble. I can also customize posts per platform within the same window.
Streamlined Social Media Management with Minor Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Hootsuite for scheduling my social media posts weekly and monthly across multiple platforms like X, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. It's great that I can post in both English and French, encompassing all my language needs. One of my favorite features is the calendar view and its suggested peak times which really takes the guesswork out of when to post. It also offers great wrap-ups so I can see how our social media channels are doing each month and annually. I think it works really well for viewing how each post will actually be published per platform. The initial setup was very easy, which was nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the video upload can get better. I also don't know why but recently when I am posting two or more photos in one post, it doesn't let me change the sequence of the posts unless I post them one by one which is really inconvenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite for social media scheduling across multiple platforms and languages. It helps me stay organized with my monthly plan and provides performance wrap-ups to monitor channels over time.
Makes Scheduling a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Drop dead easy to use! Makes social scheduling a breeze. I particularly like that I can review a years worth of posts. It helps to get the creative ideas flowing, you often forget what you did a year ago, and being able to go back and review, makes tweaking and reusing old ideas a breeeze. Sometimes thinking up new ideas daily can be daunting, so recyling and updating past ideas is helpful. Interfaces well with all the platforms I use for social. Plans are very affordable. I have saved so much time, therefore money, being able to schedule all my social posts from Hootsuite. I can't end the review without mentioning how great it is to have AI assistance in writing posts, they are perfect every time. Finally, when it comes to generating ideas, it is helpful to have the calendar reminders of all the Special Days of the Years. With AI caption writing assistance, it makes it easy to come up the posts for special days. I post daily so using Hootsuite has made it easy to plan many days in advance, so i can even take a vacation and not worry. I manage a few social accounts and have found it easy to use across all of them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not particular to Hootsuite, I don't believe, but there are occassional instances when posts fail. Sometimes it evident that it is an issue with the social channel, but sometimes, it can be a Hootsuite issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just managing a few accounts across several channels is very time consuming, Hootsuite makes life so easy when everything can be scheduled from one place. A big thank you!
Easy to use -even for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
It's efficient and easy to use. The analytics feature is great too

I don't see any downsides to Hootsuite. It's great and easy to use.

Seamless Posting Between Accounts!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Hootsuite allows companies to link and post to multiple accounts across different platforms, as well as the automated monthly and annual reporting features.
What do you dislike about the product?
If accounts are not connected or get disconnected in Meta, you cannot connect them in Hootsuite. Meta already makes it difficult to reconnect once connected, so to have that capability in Hootsuite would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting across/managing multiple accounts under the same organization is super helpful! Our accounts are often super connected, so to be able to post all at once when needed is amazing.
