Simple, Straightforward System with Everything Needed for Asset Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
simple and straightforward contains all the components I need in a system: asset tracking , unscheduled downtime tracked, parts inventory
What do you dislike about the product?
There were 1 or 2 instances of it not being intuitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides detailed trouble call down time and corrective actions. A much more controlled parts inventory. Preventive maintenance is scheduled. Training modules created.
Easy to Use, Great Visualizations, and Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use. Great visualization, very good support
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really any downsides I see. We currently do not use the system to its max potential.

Keeping PM's in front of us to reduce unplanned downtime
MaintainX Customization That Scales With Us
What do you like best about the product?
One of the key features we like about MaintainX the most is the level of customization. You can tune the software for what works best for you and your application which allows unseen scalability.
What do you dislike about the product?
MaintainX is quite an expensive product. I do believe that you get what you pay for here, but it can lead to sticker shock when first diving into it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before MaintainX, our biggest challenge was the lack of traceability on work orders. Doing any kind of correlative study on reactive work orders was next to impossible. After implementation, that’s changed—this is now something we’re able to do regularly.
A “Carfax for Equipment” with Photos, QR Codes, and Strong Audit Trails
What do you like best about the product?
It covers everything—it’s like a Carfax for equipment. I can attach photos and QR codes for ease of use, and it keeps digital audit trails, which is helpful when I need to track down information for a presentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The license fees are an issue. I’d like everyone in our facility to be able to use it, but the company doesn’t want to pay for all of our licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No more paperwork. It centralizes all the information for each piece of equipment, schedules PM, and helps improve communication.
Easy Navigation and Custom Dashboards That Streamline Operations
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate and the custom dashboards that you can create to maximize downtime and operations are easily created.
What do you dislike about the product?
Double work order creation possible without a VIN or serial number based system. Have to work off of an assentric based system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maximizing downtime and watching technicians efficiency.
Smooth Work Orders and Clear Team Communication
What do you like best about the product?
The ablitlty for our team to work throught work orders smoothly and communicate progress throught the app.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to dedicate the time to make sure the work orders are specific enough for the team to understand them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaintainX helps our business have an open line of communication across all operations taking place throughout the year.
Strong Accountability and Easy Tracking of Everything
What do you like best about the product?
I like the accountability, and the way it keeps track of everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really dont have a downside per say. I guess just the normal learning the ins and outs of a new system are hard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is now a paper trail of what is going on with every piece of equipment. It tracks who found the problem as well as who fixed it and everything in between
Flexible Implementation with Frequent, Meaningful MaintainX Updates
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about MaintainX is the flexibility in implementation. Frequent updates can often be intimidating for a software product staff use every day. However, the frequent updates the MaintainX team commits make noticeable improvements to data connections and ease of use. Concerns are heard and taken seriously.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the inability to modify the work order workflow without an enterprise plan, the fact that comments are not exportable or searchable, and the calendar view that organizes work orders by due date, rather than start date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaintainX has been making improvements to asset and work order organization so hierarchies can be created for work orders. The hierarchical representation of work orders reduces overwhelm when reviewing the work orders that are in the "To-Do" list.
User-Friendly Asset Tracking Anywhere with Continual Updates
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to track assets and reference the program whenever and wherever. It is user-friendly. The program is continually updated to make it more advanced. It has a good cost point for our company. The supoort and service are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest issue is that the mobile app and the desktop app do not interface well. It is in my opinion, the mobile app is more difficult to use. I prefer the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the all too common problem of lost paperwork. It also allows the tech to upload photos for the work order. This is great for recurring issues or PM tasks.
MaintainX Streamlines Preventive Maintenance with an Intuitive UI and Great Support
What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is helpful for myriad reasons. The ability to organize and visualize our preventive maintenance procedures, assets, and parts allows our business to spend less time understanding what we're looking at and more time preventing costly downtime and needless mistakes. On top of that, it helps keep our schedules on point, whether it's maintenance, compliance, or day-to-day tasks. Being able to upload documents and use Copilot to help craft procedures gives us a great starting off point for building our preventive maintenance program. The UI is intuitive and easy to navigate. We also enjoy that we have the ability to API our own software with MaintainX. The software runs well, and the staff are knowledgeable and efficient supporters when we need them. All in all, MaintainX is a great value for any business looking to take their facilities maintenance to the next level.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little that I dislike about MaintainX. For new users, the depth and breadth of the program can be somewhat intimidating. After using the software for a short while, that feeling is replaced with one of confidence-both in the knowledge of how to navigate the system, and in the system's ability to manage preventive maintenance schedules and keep your business on track and performing profitably.

MaintainX allows your business to have its assets, parts, vendors, procedures, and schedules all in one place, which saves valuable time and energy resources.
