I've used Asana for years

  • January 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it incredibly easy to manage projects, track tasks, and collaborate across teams. I really appreciate the clean, intuitive interface and the flexibility it offers in organizing work—whether you're using lists, boards, or timelines. The ability to assign tasks, set deadlines, add comments, and integrate with other tools (like Slack, Google Drive, etc.) saves a ton of time and reduces email clutter.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which might be limiting for small teams or individuals. The notification system can also get overwhelming if not managed carefully, especially when working on multiple projects. Occasionally, the mobile app feels a bit sluggish or limited compared to the desktop experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of disorganized work and lack of visibility across teams. Before using Asana, it was difficult to track who was responsible for what, keep up with deadlines, or see the overall progress of a project. Now, everything is centralized—tasks, deadlines, files, and communication all live in one place. This has improved accountability, reduced missed deadlines, and made team collaboration much smoother. It also saves time during meetings because we can clearly see the status of projects at a glance.

Not much to be honest. It can be a little time-consuming to get it off the ground and to get all team members integrated and comfortable with the platform. However, that could be more of an "us" issue than an Asana drawback.
