Asana Brings Clear Visibility and Organization Across Tasks and Projects
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is the visibility it gives across tasks and projects. It makes it easy to see what needs to be done, who owns each task, and what the priorities are. That helps keep work organized, improves follow-up, and reduces the need to track everything through emails or separate notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Asana is how heavily it depends on everyone keeping tasks up to date. If the team isn’t consistent, information becomes outdated quickly and the tool loses a lot of its value. On top of that, getting everything set up in a clear, efficient way can take time at the start, especially when you’re trying to build more detailed workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of scattered work and unclear ownership. Instead of tracking action items through emails, chats, or separate notes, we can keep tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities in one place. This gives better visibility into progress, makes follow-up easier, and helps ensure that important items do not get missed. The main benefit has been better organization, clearer accountability, and smoother coordination across ongoing work.
Keeps Projects Organized with Clear Ownership and Easy Progress Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is that it helps me keep projects organized, assign responsibilities, and track what’s being done.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I didn’t like was that, at first, it was a bit difficult to understand how it worked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
to keep all my projects organized and have more detailed view of the task and activities
Simple, Efficient Task and Process Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple and efficient it is to set up tasks and processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it doesn't integrate with any accounting software like other practice management products on the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me quickly create processes and procedures for clients and does a great job at reminding me when tasks are do so nothing falls through the cracks.
Excellent Portfolio-to-Subtask Hierarchy for Clear Project Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Hierarchy of portfolios to projects to sections to tasks to subtasks. Can break things down as well as find their origin.
What do you dislike about the product?
Receiving a morning email that I have tasks. I know I have tasks. I check it first thing. But it always emails me 15 min before I start thinking about work and it is annoying. I am sure there is, or should be, a setting to adjust this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task visibility. I am the only Business Development within our Marketing department, so the work I do is quite unlike my colleagues and it helps everyone from asking "so what does she do???". I also add all of my results into Asana so that they are in a standardized location.
Very Organized and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
It's very organized and easy to use. I am quickly able to create projects for the team using templates, which saves time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it’s hard to find what I’m looking for at a high level, especially when I’m trying to get a quick overview. I’ve also run into a few glitchy issues with templates when creating a new project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The project organization is more logical than our old system and we are able to set up dependencies that make it clear when it is your turn on a task and if something is approved or not. Also, the templates make setting up a project faster and easier.
User-Friendly Asana with Custom Fields and Easy Guest and Host Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I was able to introduce Asana as our property management system for guest check-ins and checkouts. What I love about this software is that I can invite multiple guests to collaborate on a project, and it’s very user-friendly. Being able to create my own customised fields is honestly the best part.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all. I’m happy with everything Asana is offering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work management: Before, we relied on emails to communicate guest pre-arrival notifications. Now, with ASANA, our hosts load guest details as tasks, and our front office team receives instant notifications. This has saved us a lot of time and made the workflow much easier.
Streamlines Teamwork, Needs Better Complex Project Handling
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana to manage tasks, track deadlines, and keep projects organized. It helps me plan my work, follow progress, and stay aligned with my team. I like that everything is in one place, so it's easier to prioritize and not miss important tasks. Asana keeps everything organized and easy to follow, allowing me to see what needs to be done, what is coming next, and who is responsible. It saves time and makes teamwork much clearer. I also like that Asana is easy to use and makes teamwork smoother. It helps everyone stay on the same page, follow updates easily, and know what to do next.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially when there are many tasks and project sections. It can also take time to set things up in a way that fits the team well. Asana could be improved for complex projects by making large task structures easier to manage. When a project has many sections, subtasks, dependencies, and team members, it can start to feel crowded and harder to follow. Better ways to group related tasks, view dependencies more clearly, and simplify navigation across big projects would help a lot.

User-Friendly Workspace with Meaningful Employee Recognition
What do you like best about the product?
The workspace is very user-friendly, More than that, I like the way how you can congratulate the employee on completing the task - you get the emotional icons to appear, you can share the appreciation. FOr the daily work Asana is a great tool due to private and team projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of ability to track daily progress - task have pretty long deadlines, and the reporting for long-term distance is great, short-term projects could be reflected better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All daily task management can be organized in Asana. Keep all project tasks in one place, add quick meeting notes in subtasks, and use Asana AI to summarize them.
One of the biggest advantages is the ability to view the same project in different ways and change the view as the project progresses.
For example, you can:
Plan content in a monthly calendar
Track team work in a Kanban board
See launch progress in a timeline with key milestones.

One thing I dislike is that it can feel a bit complicated for new users at first because there are many features and options. Also, the free version has limited advanced features, so teams sometimes need to upgrade to a paid plan. Sometimes too many notifications can also become distracting.
