  • April 23, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can create a project, create task to assign to the project and not lose track of valuable Action Items from various meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that every single ticket or response creates 2 email notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining tasks and action items and doing the same for the team I manage of 5 people.

It's a great project manager!

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Asana daily for project management, and it's been a game-changer for organizing my workflow. The platform is intuitive and highly customizable—I really appreciate the ability to tailor dashboards and views based on my personal preferences and project needs. Whether it's tracking deadlines, assigning tasks, or collaborating with teammates, everything feels streamlined and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
That said, there is a slight learning curve in the beginning. It took me about a month to get fully comfortable navigating all the features, but once I got the hang of it, everything clicked. One area I feel could use improvement is the search functionality—it works, but it’s not as fast or as precise as I’d like, especially when working with multiple projects or archived tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps my team collaborate effectively on various projects by providing a centralized space to assign tasks, set deadlines, and track progress in real time. It keeps everyone aligned and accountable, which has significantly reduced miscommunication and improved overall productivity. Having a clear view of priorities and timelines makes it easier to stay organized and meet our goals efficiently.

Back on Asana

What do you like best about the product?
Not going to lie - Asana was CRITICAL in our organization for YEARS -- then we cut it to save costs, thinking we could manage everything we needed with docs and sheets. WE WERE WRONG - Everything became chaos, nothing was connected, and everything was duplicated, leaving us all scattered and misaligned on projects, clients, and goals. We quickly realized how important Asana was in keeping our teams and projects running smoothly.

We will never cut Asana again!
What do you dislike about the product?
The copying of timelines is super annoying. Would be awesome when you copy a project you could fill in a new “start date” and the timeline would auto update. 👍🏼👍🏼 Also - were do I submit my pup for more Tab+V options 😆
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization and staff accountability. No one is stuck asking or answering the “What do I do next?” Questions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best work flow management platform — HANDS DOWN.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a good program that can be accessed via desktop or mobile from anywhere. I am thankful for the live training sessions offered and the on-demand resources. I am a new user to the program as of last month.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that live training sessions were offered more frequently and at more convenient times, as early mornings can be difficult to attend due to time zone differences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project Management - centralize tasks in one location, track the history of actions taken on a task for future reference or review.

Increased productivity in my company, holds all my employees accountable

What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about using Asana is how much it's streamlined the way our team works. Once I spent some time going through their tutorials and help articles, getting everything set up was pretty straightforward.

It's been a game-changer for keeping everyone aligned—deadlines are clear, tasks don’t fall through the cracks, and it's easy to see who’s responsible for what. The approval workflows and task dependencies are especially helpful for keeping projects on track without constant check-ins.

We’ve been able to move most of our internal communication along with project tracking into Asana, which has made a huge difference. No more digging through endless message threads trying to find who said what—everything’s organized and easy to follow.

I also really appreciate how simple it is to structure and manage different teams. Whether we’re planning a marketing campaign or coordinating logistics across offices, everything lives in one place and everyone’s on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't have anything negative to say about Asana. Looking forward to building my company up with the ease of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the things I really value is how Asana helps us stay ahead of deadlines instead of just racing to meet them. Having clear timelines and task visibility means we can actually plan properly—especially when it comes to equipment purchases or workshop upgrades.

The approval feature has been a huge win in that area. Instead of going back and forth over messages or email, we can track requests for new gear, get the green light from the right person, and move forward without delays. It keeps everything moving efficiently, which is crucial when time-sensitive decisions come up.

What do you like best about the product?
Starting to explore the new time tracking features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting won't support time tracking like we need it to at this point, but I am keeping an eye on it for when it will update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to manage our projects and people in one platform, allowing us to tie their performance to their actual work.

2025 Started with Broken Promises & Broken Support from Asana

  • April 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
before 2025 It was better option to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve been an Asana user for years and recently migrated my team from ClickUp, expecting a smoother experience. Unfortunately, it’s been frustrating from the start.

After our trial ended, our entire project panel was locked, with no clear notice or fallback option. We couldn’t access anything, not even to remove paid features. This brought our entire workflow to a halt.

To make things worse, Asana's support team was unaware of how or where I could apply my coupon code. I was misdirected multiple times, and despite 4+ days of follow-ups, the issue is still unresolved.

It honestly feels like the system is built to force upgrades, rather than offer a fair transition or helpful guidance.

If Asana doesn’t intend to support early-stage teams or startups, it shouldn't market that it does. The experience was not just inconvenient—it was damaging to our business operations.

We expected better. A project management tool should help you grow, not block your team when you need it most.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None

Using Asana for Years + Love It

  • April 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's worked well for us when we first started using the free plan and over the last several years as our team grew, we added users and incorporated the additional functionality from Asana. It's been flexible as staff, client mix and projects change.

It's easy to use, as we onboard new employees, they catch on to it quickly.
And, we use it every day. Asana is one of the core tools our team has in our tech stack
What do you dislike about the product?
Time tracking in any package seems to be a challenge. We had the much higher package with portfolios and workload, but time tracking and reporting - mostly reporting - did not for us to bill clients accurately or have a clear vision of capacity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all clients and their projects on track.
Understanding what our individual tasks are, how we communicate with each other.
