Keeps Our Projects on Track
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is great for keeping projects organized and tracking team tasks. The interface is clean and intuitive, and the notifications make sure nothing gets forgotten. I really like the subtasks and dependencies feature — it helps a lot with prioritizing and meeting deadlines. The integrations with Google Drive and Slack also make the daily workflow much smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Asana can feel a bit overwhelming when managing multiple large projects at once. There are many features, and it can take time for new users to learn how to use them effectively. Also, the mobile app is less fluid than the desktop version, especially when editing or reorganizing tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me keep track of multiple projects and deadlines in one place. It makes collaboration easier by allowing everyone on the team to see who’s responsible for what and when. Before using Asana, tasks were often lost in emails or chats — now everything is centralized and transparent. This has improved productivity, accountability, and communication across the team.
Effortless Task Management with Stellar Features
What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana very easy to set up, especially with the helpful guides that make the process straightforward. I also appreciate its board view feature and the ability to detail each task within that board view, enhancing my project management experience. Asana has become my main task manager, and it enables me to efficiently organize work requests submitted to me, allowing me to seamlessly set up my task list. Additionally, I use Slack alongside Asana, as well as the email feature, which helps me integrate different aspects of my work. The interface layout is very easy to follow, which increases my overall productivity and satisfaction with the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would change where tasks go into when you email Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to streamline task management, allowing seamless submission and organization of work requests. The board view enhances task detail clarity, and integration with Slack and email supports efficient workflow.
Frustrating Task Management and Poor Support Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I am not sure what I like best, as I have not had a great experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
So much. The way the program is supposed to nest tasks and subtasks does not work well at all. I ended up with "no project" items that no one on my team could figure out how to fix. No one on the customer service seemed to be able to help either. The response time was super slow compared to just calling in somewhere to a real persons. There is a wall of ai bots to get through to get actual support. The deadlines thing stresses the entire team out. Then to ice that cake, the rotating deadlines don't have a down time. so if you click it done you don't see all the things done for one day... it immediately populates the next item. Lastly, it is very simple to override what seems to be a productivity tracker. If I work on a box of files and list it as one to do item, it doesn't quantify the time spent or layers of effort. Just the one item. However if I break it down into the individual files in that box, it shows a series of items checked off. So it looks like the one that counted the 6 hour box did less than the person that counted each individual file in that box they did in the same amount of time. For me, I rewrote a sample work case about 4x then asked for help from a coworker, then customer support... never got my answer. So I still just use a handwritten list. It just doesn't work for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None. I and most of my team have stopped using it out of frustration and lack of human customer support.
Board View is workable, But Lacks Robust Metrics and Hierarchy for Org Planning
What do you like best about the product?
board view is nice for planning and tracking work on a two week cadence.
What do you dislike about the product?
No good flow or capacity metrics, set up is not conducive to accurate burndown metrics. Parenting of tasks does not allow for a good hierarchy and planning view - requires a lot of manual work and duplication of tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I want to use it for OKRs as well as these other purposes but it does not meet the needs well enough for that to be worth it.
Keeps Tasks on Track, Easy Cleanup for Clutter
What do you like best about the product?
It keeps you updated on all your tasks, both on a daily and weekly basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product tends to get messy quite quickly, but cleaning it up is simple and straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool assists you in prioritizing your tasks and automatically generates a schedule for you. It also makes it easier to collaborate with other departments on various tasks.
User-Friendly Task Management, Minor Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps us keep our tasks organized. The interface is straightforward and user-friendly, making it easy to manage our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
For someone new to this, it can be a bit confusing at first. However, after spending some time with it, it becomes easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is our preferred tool for managing the daily and weekly tasks we need to accomplish.
Great for Collaboration, But Notifications Can Be Overwhelming
What do you like best about the product?
Asana really simplifies project management. I appreciate how tasks, deadlines, and team updates are all organized in a single place. What I find most helpful are the visual boards and timelines, which make it easy to track progress. It's excellent for collaboration and helps ensure every project stays on schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing several travel campaigns simultaneously can become challenging. The constant stream of notifications tends to accumulate, making it difficult to concentrate on the most important tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me keep travel bookings, marketing tasks, and team coordination organized in a single platform. It ensures everything stays on track, enhances communication, and saves time by minimizing confusion and preventing missed deadlines.
Easy to Learn and Integrate, but Templates Need More Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to learn and integrate into your team quickly. Well rounded features and capability for the most typical processes and daily tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the templates should be improved to allow modification especially for new product development, also so you can create stages exactly from an existing template.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NPDP Inefficiency
Process Overload
Strategy Uncertainty

Seamless Integration and Motivating Features Make Asana a Standout
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate about Asana is how seamlessly it integrates with the different platforms we already use, which helps us stay organized and manage tasks more effectively. The visual cues for completed tasks and achievements are motivating, making it easy to keep track of what needs to be done. Access to the platform is user-friendly, and our experience with onboarding and implementing the system has been very positive. I also value the Asana Academy, along with the training resources and support that are available.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it unhelpful that, for those who aren't particularly tech-savvy, learning to use Asana can be challenging at first. However, the Academy helped resolve this issue for our team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One issue that Asana has helped us address is creating a single source of data and storage. Previously, our company relied on a shared folder, which was quite disorganized. By transitioning to Asana, we can now organize and categorize all our documents more effectively, and we are also able to set due dates for documents that need regular updates.
Customizable and Efficient, But Exporting Data Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate being able to add my own custom fields and tags, which work well together. It's simple to set up workflows that minimize the need to recreate tasks or manually mark them as 'completed.' The customizable forms are also excellent, making it easy to add new tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting information from projects can be quite a hassle. I use this tool to keep track of OHS items and meeting minutes, but when I export the data as a CSV file, I still need to manually adjust it to make it more legible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I rely on this as my main HR ticketing platform, and I also use it to collect OHS issues, monitor when policies require updates, and track the status of our visa employees, among other tasks. Everything is conveniently managed in one place, and it’s far more than just a sophisticated Excel spreadsheet. I’m able to generate reports from it, which allows me to see how many tickets I have, which ones are closed, their sources, and the types of issues involved. It’s really effective!
