Customisable & Useful Tool for any Ecommerce
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to customise and user friendly. Anyone can quickly adapt to feature and use it at maximum potential.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slightly manual tasks involved which can be automated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Bloomreach for Ecommerce website customisation. The biggest benefit we have seen is visibility on reports as well as customising PLPs as per regional specific requirements.

Exponea - Powerful, but easy-to-use
What do you like best about the product?
A lot of tools for analysis, communications and data management with intuitive GUI. Swift and skilled support. Excellent wiki with business cases. Often updates and improvements.

Some features required advanced skills in programming and code understanding, but it's not a big problem with support

Data aggregation, management and communications in one place. Easy analysis in different ways. Ad-hoc reports in a few clicks.

I'm able to access so many people via email with no hassle or worry, thanks to the customer service and easy to use platform
Bloomreach has fast analytics and reporting
What do you like best about the product?
The thing that I like most about Bloomreach (formerly Exponea) is that when you have quality data, you can do a lot of things very quickly with it. This includes analyses, reports, and segmentations. The support team always provides an immediate answer to virtually any question. I can create a report in about 30 seconds and as you can imagine, this saves us a lot of time. It is the next step to getting more value out of Bloomreach. Webhooks and APIs open up an entire new world of possibilities. For a marketer with a background in IT, Bloomreach is absolutely incredible. What we can track as an event (every click, every scroll, every customer action) is very comprehensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things that I wish was a little bit better about Bloomreach is the documentation. There is a lot that you can do with weblayers but you do need to have a good level of knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are definitely using Bloomreachh to make some improvements. We are currently using the platform for simple segmentation of our customers. This is a much more simple way of evaluating our campaigns as I can now perform analytics very quickly. I have access to data and reports so when I have colleagues from different teams approach me, I can easily give them the answers that they need. We are using email scenarios with dynamic content. We are able to recommend products for the customer and get the product name in the subject for the customer as well as the price after the discount. We are seeing great success with this with Bloomreach.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
What I would tell people who are considering Bloomreach? Do not take it lightly. It is a fantastic idea to allocate a team for implementation and preparation. Bloomreach is just as good as the data you possess. It is not a software that you can just set up once and you are done with it forever. It is necessary to have someone who is active and works with Bloomreach often. I definitely recommend Bloomreach consultancy hours and the Academy. I saw a little more benefit in the consultancy hours.

What do you like best about the product?
The Bloomreach Engagement is a reliable and comprehensive tool. It includes a lot of options from email campaigns and ad audiences to web layers. All supported by front-end tracking with virtually unlimited possibilities. You can track your customers step by step and design your communication according to this data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there are very few things to dislike. The reason I rated Bloomreach 8/10 is because of the price. I can imagine having your service less expensive, but I can handle it. However, I'm not sure if the quality/price ratio would be attractive to me if the price was increased.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First and foremost, email campaigns and A/B testing because they work and are easy to set up and evaluate. The biggest benefit for me is the deep integration of every part of Bloomreach Engagement. It's surprisingly easy to connect all the data we have about customers with the knowledge we've gained from A/B testing and use it in our email communications or to personalize parts of the website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
From my experience, it is an excellent tool for mail campaigns and A/B tests of all the parts of your web (from simple pop-ups to the whole landing page). You can easily set conditions for every communication you create. Also, the fact that it is an omnichannel tool is notable. When you target some customers with the campaign, you can continue with some push notification, SMS, or web layer on the website and vice versa.

What do you like best about the product?
Trigger campaigns (on a daily basis), funnels to see all data from the beginning to the end, the possibility to do pop-up banners (for special events), to do multistep campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Set up of data structure (it is not sometimes so easy to work over customer structure).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connect Exponea to the other communication systems in the firm. After successful connection, we can realize multistep campaigns.
