Good search engine for e-commerce
What do you like best about the product?
Their search engine is good, and if well tunned gives quite good results with result in improved conversions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their interface is not very intuitive, so it's not easy to modify search parameters from their backend. And the search analytics could be more complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Search is a field in which many e-commerce stores lack behind. With Bloomreach, we are able to offer more relevant products to our customers.

Takes some time and resources to implement but can be useful

It is easy to use, can add languages, select all conditions for the database.

Changes to make in code, no templates to choose from,

What do you like best about the product?
Complexity - every created tool/segment/campaign can be used for every activity. There is no limit for Exponea. We are using probably just 50 % of Exponea potential. Exponea has great customer support - every single time they were very friendly and they helped us with any problem - very proactive and professional. I love creating dashboard from any report/funnels etc. - every needed information in one place thanks to dashboards. Flows can be pretty useful. Surveys are the best - you can connect their results to any automatic scenarious and interact immediately with selected customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is too difficult to define some reports - there is really a lot of option and sometimes it is not very user friendly. The price is pretty expensive - suitable only for pretty big companies (out small company is exception I think). I cant rely on funnels - almost every single time it shows different results than what report shows me (mayby my fault but I cant figgured it out where is the problem). Automatic banner/email conversion evaluation isnt the top :) Survey evaluations could be a bit easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer segmentation, automatic campaigns, reporting for company owners, realizing "one-time campaigns" like newsletters. Thanks to Exponea we are able to better identify potential business leaks and we can find new opportunities thanks to automatic survey results connected to another automatic campaigns.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Helpdesk is soemtimes a bit confused for me. At least some filtres in datadeletion would be nice for every pricing - would be nice if exponea would be a bit more customer cost friendly.

As a dataprofessionel i admire the data-presenting options as well as the amount of options in regards to using the created dataflows in campaings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike, actually, the overall experience is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Structuring data, presenting data, campaign execution, lead generation, thirdparty actions such as releasing vouchers via webhook and much more.
Extremely useful and easy to navigate when you learn how to use the platform.

Excellent platform with great support feature
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very feature-rich and user friendly. The academy is a great way to learn more about the platform, plus gives ideas of additional features and functions. There is a great live support system which provides quick solutions to any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not possible to use live-support outside of Bratislava business hours. It would be great to have additional agents in other time zones so that support can be reached during more hours.

I have learnt a great deal from the Academy and also from using the live support system. The agents don't just fix the issues, but explain what has happened and how to fix it.

Its a beast of a tool but when you understand the layers within it, it's the best I have worked with so far.
Make sure you have people with data backgrounds as part of the product selection process.

The system is well documented and there is an in-app customer service chat which has a very quick respond time.

Moving defined business logic elements between components can be hard or impossible.

We are reaching customers on different channels about offers. We manage the segmentation and for these offers inside the system.

The vast amount of things you can do with this software from creating & designing to testing performance

Not much to dislike, impressed so far. Maybe some clearer lessons in exponea training (powerpoints etc)

Efficiency, other software's do not have the vast amount of features that Bloomreach does—being able to complete a project from start to finish in one place.

The customer support team is the strongest highlight for me. They're always quick to respond, seem passionate to help, and know what they're doing compared to their competitors
What do you dislike about the product?
The Exponea platform has a few missing features and un-intuitive decisions for its interface, which is quite annoying. Such as the lack of auto-save while editing emails, lack of support for more than one person working within a scenario, a limit to the number of custom rows shown, unable to set different mobile and desktop styling easily (padding, font sizes, etc.), unable to define a color palette or text styles, unable to set the height of sections, unable to format the text of icons (bold, italics).

Reports have been beneficial for us to understand how our email campaigns are performing and why they're performing that way through the heatmaps. The features allowing personalization offer a lot of opportunities as well which we're starting to explore further
