One search to rule them all
What do you like best about the product?
The rapid filtering of results make it easy to slice and dice results to get to the material I need. The loose search also helps find related documentation and conversations that would have otherwise been missed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, this tool has made retrieval of material a breeze
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company has used multiple documentation and communication platforms over the years, which led to quite a bit of information sprawl. Glean has pulled all of it together into a simple interface that is useful for long-time employees as well as new hires.
Love the new Glean AI Feature
What do you like best about the product?
I used to always use Glean solely as a search engine which it was great at. It helped me be self-sufficient at my company by allowing me to work asynchronously with my colleagues and find any information that I needed on my own. Now that Glean has released their new AI Chatbot, this has made searching even easier. The new AI Chatbot has done a great job of giving me correct answers to my questions and making me work even more efficiently.
Other things that have been nice about Glean are that it consolidates everything that I need to know in one place. For example, when I login, I'm able to see my upcoming meetings as well as any announcements by my company's administrators on the homepage. It is my favorite productivity tool
I've also participated in a few UI/UX research sessions with Glean that have been fun to be a part of.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Glean as of now. I haven't used customer support at all so I'm unable to comment on that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Glean allows me to find information about any topic within my company in an efficient manner
A story about my best friend, Glean!
What do you like best about the product?
During onboarding, Glean helped me ramp quickly and acquire all the institutional knowledge I needed to be successful. The landing page gives me a great overview of upcoming calls, trending resources, and suggested documents to review so I know what to do next and how to prioritize my day. The search function is easy to use and customize based on my specific role and the applications I use most frequently. It's saved me a tremendous amount of time. I no longer have to constantly toggle between applications and lose context and focus as I go. I'm thankful that Grammarly provides Glean company-wide as it helps us all collaborate and work better together.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've found no downsides yet. Given how robust their resource center it, I'm sure if I have any questions or issues, I'll quickly be able to self-serve and find support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me get information quickly and take the best action. It's an awesome workplace efficiency tool.
Glean is Great!
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to find content from across the different knowledge sources we have and my Glean team!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more customizability in the homepage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like many organizations, we have knowledge stored in several different places. Glean helps me save time by allowing me to search everywhere, all at once. It also simplifies sharing with others with the Collections feature.
Helps me know what our deeper technical, product experts know
What do you like best about the product?
- Allows us to run lean after recent layoffs impacted our support team
- Powerful preview text for each search result
- Search results are actually very good from the start, and get better over time
- Filterable search when you start to prioritize some sources over others

What do you dislike about the product?
- I can't use it for our external support community. Imagine if we found a way to have filtered results that were relevant and appropriate for customers to just Glean stuff for themselves!!

We are a PLG company and offer a free plan. Without a tool like Glean, it would take us easily hours (maybe more) to search through all of our internal knowledge bases and properly answer questions from our free plan users. While we do have a lot of self-serve content, as a B2B SaaS company, you can never get around the niche, very specific questions users will face that just cannot be resolved by 1:many content. Glean helps us find these answers for our free users.
Glean – a blessing for business busybodies
What do you like best about the product?
Our org is newly public, with lots of leadership and org changes happening. Being able to have Glean help me find the information and contacts I need to do my job is CRITICAL to my productivity and sanity. It searches our google docs, workday, highspot, asana, Slack, and confluence pages.
The context in the search results (shows you title, doc type, last updated, owner, snippet description) is SOOOO helpful for making sure you have the right doc before clicking on it.
I also really appreciate the Workday integration – I can search someone, see their tenure, title, reporting line above and below them. Super helpful in a big company, when I'm meeting new people practically every day.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's no AI/natural language search yet, and no connection to SFDC for our org. I would LOVE to write in "show me all Sally Sales's open opportunities in retail industry" and get a bunch of links to opportunity records.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a large org with lots of changes in leadership and staffing, Glean helps me get to information faster, instead of having to ask my boss or someone else and wait for them to get back to me. Getting information quickly is so important for "flow"– if you have to wait for an answer or a link to a doc, by the time someone gets back to you, you don't always feel eager to finish your task or idea.
Basically Google across all my company resources!
What do you like best about the product?
"I love spending time searching for that one document" - No One Ever
Glean is one of those tools where the effectiveness is inversely correlated to the amount of time I spend using it. I know for a fact Confluence search is garbage, as I've spent a ridiculous amount of time rephrasing my query to find that one page I already know exists. Glean is my "new page" page, so I always know how to find it. The search functionality meets or exceeds my high expectations for finding documents/resources quickly. I like how it searches across all these platforms at once.

What do you dislike about the product?
I frequently try to find Confluence pages, but since Glean searches across everything, it will usually find some JIRA results as well. The icons for both Confluence and JIRA are blue, so I think I'm opening a Confluence page only to be surprised by a JIRA ticket.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to spend far less time searching for what I need. This not only saves me time but occasionally my coworkers time as well since I might send them a message to ask if they know where that specific document is.
A real time-saver!
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to find the answer I'm looking for across various platforms (Notion, Slack, Google suite). It saves me so much time by removing the need to search for a key term or phrase across all the tools used internally.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Glean! It fits all my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem: internal knowledge not consolidated in 1 central spot
Solution: Glean provides a solution here by allowing users to quickly sift through various tools that may hold the information they are looking for. Through it's integration with multiple software tools, it is able to act as the 1 central spot employees can turn to in order to find answers independently.

Glean makes me a know-it-all (in a good way)
What do you like best about the product?
Glean makes it super easy for me to find and search all of the resources/materials that my company has to offer in a search bar. Not only that, it connects to our messenger app and I can find conversations that has my answer.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not entirely Glean's fault - but it makes it apparent that companies have too many outdated resources. Perhaps there is a way to see rankings of similar questions that other team members search for and found their answer to serve as the top link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have ample resources that the company produces and many many conversations that happen amongst peers. In my customer facing role, I need to know where to find anything and everything - And that's where Glean comes in.
Great tool to organize your digital brain
What do you like best about the product?
The search functionality connected to the wide variety of tools I use in my day-to-day work brings relevant and useful results far faster than I could achieve on my own.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really enjoy my experience with glean and so, there isn't much I dislike. When I am moving fast on my computer and signed out of Glean, it does take a moment to sign back in but this is a minor inconvience at most.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing and finding documents across the dozens and dozens of different tools that I use with my day-to-day work. it helps increase productivity by saving time hunting documents or files down.
