What do you like best about the product?
Monday is a great platform to centralize information and manage teams as well as projects. This provides a great tool for my company's needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
As every platform that provides a lot of resources, I feel like the onboarding process and UI could be even more user-friendly so the platform gets more buy-in within the organization
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I feel like Monday is a great tool for centralizing information on project-based businesses and initiatives

Monday.com allows any business to organize its staff and projects in one place.

Monday.com is only so versatile. Some company goals cannot be met through monday.com yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With employees all collaborating on various projects, monday.com allows everyone to communicate effectively and track their progress.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that the system grows with your business. There is a lot of flexibility there that allows me to define what I need right now.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that every change I need a professional who understands Monday.

Monday helps me implement the efficient processes in the business.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create, move, and archive tasks, and move between workflows. Anyone on the team can see all the steps for each project and its progress. Automations have been really helpful, especially between Slack and Google Drive. The subtasks are really easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it notified you about upcoming deadlines on your assigned tasks. I also wish the calendar view was better -- It's hard to read the ticket items and more challenging to color coordinate our social media post calendar by platform than I would have thought. For some boards, I wish you could make dividing lines to break up weeks in the Main Table view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows our company to plan out our content creation by week and month, and keep track of misc. tasks/requests from other departments. It really helped us assign to-dos and give feedback in a space that wasn't Slack, as that got overwhelming to see the notifications when someone else was reviewing/working on a project. This way, when we're ready, we go into monday and see the updates on any feedback or task completions.

Monday.com streamlined my nonprofit

What do you like best about the product?
I love the integrations. They have saved me so much time! My calendar is integrated, we can text and email straight from the board so all of my staff can see the most recent client interactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I dislike. I tell all my business friends and other nonprofit leaders how much this has helped me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com has helped us work remotely more efficiently. Additionally, it has allowed us to automate meetings and collaborate on projects with people outside of our nonprofit.

Very useful tool for project organization

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use of the platform and various extra features to improve the organization of the document and the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Improve the ease of duplicating a project by already moving the copy to the destination board. And in the basic plan, have at least the GANTT or the price difference between the basic and the next level be a little smaller, because when there are several employees, this cost becomes difficult to pay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization of the process and monitoring of the progress of activities and schedule. It greatly facilitated the visualization and tracking of the project implementation processes for our clients.

Misleading product & pricing strategy. Woeful product.

What do you like best about the product?
It has the potential to be very powerful. You can customise it to work for any company and my dealings with their support have been very positive. I can't think of anything else I like about monday.com
What do you dislike about the product?
Their pricing & marketing is misleading. It's advertised as a project management tool but you only get their basic 'work OS' included and have to pay extra for their Projects app, which isn't mentioned anywhere on the site. On their site, they advertise it as a complete project management tool but when I queried this with their support team, they said you get a basic project management template for Work OS but that's not how they advertise the platform.

When you look at their pricing, it sounds like you get everything for one decent price but then you have to pay extra for CRM & Projects (there are more). For just these 2 products (+ the work OS, which is like a to-do list) it cost £90 a month for just 3 seats. This isn't mentioned ANYWHERE on their pricing table.

We would gladly pay that amount if it meant having everything on one platform and having all tools talking to each other but you have to manually implement a load of automations in order to get this to work. This sounds fine on the surface but what happens if one of the automations breaks down? You might have 10-30 live projects.

We've gone back to Asana because it's simple, yet powerful. Monday.com just feels like such a lot of hard work and needless complexity just to get it to work.

It's highly customisable, so you can really make it fit into your business

What do you like best about the product?
The ability for Monday.com to adapt to my process versus the other way around has been the greatest asset for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the inability to customize row size in the "My Work" section and being unable to stretch out the column showing all fo the boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing us to track our workflows better and decrease the manual inputs of telling a team member to begin their section of the task.

Not just for the corporate world.

What do you like best about the product?
Running a retail company with 5 stores spread across South Australia, Monday allows me and my Operations Manager to keep up with the daily operations and any extras. It cuts out the need for phone calls, which is sometimes impractical for our busy retail stores with only one staff member. It has also allowed us to smoothly transition all stock from 5 locations onto an online store.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside for us is that some store staff (at a shop assistant level) see it as a hindrance more than a help because they don't see the full picture of the senior management structure. I believe this to be because it is viewed as a corporate tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miscommunication and lack of documentation is a big problem that has now been solved due to the multiple boards. As we deal with many transactions in a day, it is important for legal and business reasons to document, document, document.
