Reliable and Essential for Over a Decade
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Dropbox for over 10 years, and it’s still one of the most reliable tools in my digital life. It helps me securely store and back up important files, seamlessly share documents, and stay organized in both my personal and professional life.
One of the features I appreciate most is the mobile access—it’s incredibly convenient to have all my files available when I’m traveling or away from my computer. The sync across devices is smooth, and I’ve never had issues accessing the latest version of a document.
Overall, Dropbox gives me peace of mind knowing that my data is safe and accessible wherever I go. Highly recommended!

What do you dislike about the product?
The free storage is quite limited, especially compared to some other services.
Sometimes the desktop app can be a bit resource-heavy.
It would be nice to have more customization options for shared links, like setting default expiration dates or branding without upgrading to a business plan.
Occasionally, file syncing delays happen when working with very large files or folders.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of securely storing and accessing files from anywhere. It allows me to keep all my important documents in one place, backed up and safe, while also making it incredibly easy to share files with others when needed.
It’s especially helpful for organizing my personal life, managing travel documents, and collaborating on shared folders. The ability to access everything from my phone is a huge benefit when I’m on the go.

Streamlined sharing and speedy service
What do you like best about the product?
I use dropbox to help my customers access my images quickly and in a higher resolution than most social media. I use it almost weekly whether via mobile app or desktop version.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price point has increased for the storage and I am unable to use the more expensive versions which does hobble some features I enjoyed using. The actual desktop app in the wrong hands can lead to my files getting deleted by clients with butterfingers that are given editing privileges (I wish I could adjust what kind of editing they specifically had access to via a checklist) but I am able to roll back edits fairly easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is my go to storage for images (and some videos). Its ability to share with clients without throttling downloads, or the file size of the folder has streamlined my services and helped me greatly.

Storage capacity even doe a bit more would be nice , simple interface and easy to understand

I love the ease of use in setting up my folders and the ability to share with others. Dropbox is a secure site that gives me peace of mind, knowing my images are safe. And I can access them quickly and efficiently.

I don't really have any dislikes about Dropbox other than when I can't do something, it's usually operator error.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Dropbox to organize my files for financial paperwork, photos, and work oriented projects. It continues to be an easy way to file share between different computers and now even with my phone.

Currently I enjoy everything about Dropbox, there is nothing currently that comes to mind that is negative

Easy to setup a file structure to understand where to look for categorized documents or files. In addition makes it easy to go from phone to computer at a drop of a hat

The flexibility Dropbox gives me on my computer cell phone and online.

Nothing, Dropbox has been a lifesaver while I was working on my doctorate.

The ability to save and to then use my files in other locations
Memories kept safe automatically
What do you like best about the product?
Can switch on auto uploads of all photos on phone to Dropbox or switch off & upload manually. Memories from when my kids were babies to adults kept safe in my Dropbox vault keeps me peace of mind. Regardless of android or iPhone.

Cost is only issue but that’s due to rising cost of living not because Dropbox is too expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I know it’s not accessible to people I don’t grant permission. I wonder about iCloud security.
