Make it easier to have access to 2 accounts

  • June 09, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Great storage for a single account, seems seamless most of the time to save items, like you have an additional hard drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's extremely difficult to access more than one account and to have things saved in different accounts or to move things between accounts. Why can't it be like just another hard drive? The app's notifications are also hidden in the small icon at the bottom right of the toolbar. I have no idea there is a problem with a saved item unless I open the desktop app!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier to share large files and keep them accessible to people

An excellent file sharing service

  • June 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is an amazing shared web2 filesystem. Comparable to cloud services and to competitors like box, it is less prone to data losses and a stable storage solution. In my decades experience with Dropbox, it has been a reliable solution, with scalable solutions for both buisness and personal use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox compares with cloud storage solutions like google drive but is not so favored as one drive AWS s3 or google drive. The cloud has merged with network file systems, but Dropbox is a spectrum between shared file systems and mailing solutions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Archival of data and data housekeeping. I have traditionally used Dropbox for compressed archival of datasets, files and experimental data from wildlife sightings.

Drop Box

  • June 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Interface is intuitive and easy to use, navigation make it's easier just to drag and drop documents and send links to whoever you need to share documents. other features such as limited downloads, visibility and so forth are great too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see any opportunities to improve drop box here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
keeping files organized, in a centralized place for the company where everyone has different type of access. We trust also the security of the cloud and accessibility through the different platforms (tablets, phones, computer, web base, etc)

Easy use and versatile

  • June 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful things about Dropbox is the cross platform functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
The two things I don’t like is that you only get 2GB of free storage. Also, the paid plans are expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It mainly solves files scattered across multiple servers.

A Must-Have Tool for Seamless Cloud Access

  • June 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox offers a clean and intuitive interface that makes it incredibly easy to upload, organize, and share files. I really appreciate its seamless sync across devices and how quickly files update in real-time. The ability to share large files with just a link, along with version history and file recovery options, adds a lot of value—especially for collaborative work. Dropbox also integrates well with third-party tools like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, which enhances productivity without switching platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Dropbox is reliable, its storage plans can be expensive compared to other cloud providers, especially for individual users or small teams. Also, some advanced features—like Smart Sync and extended version history—are only available on higher-tier plans. Occasionally, the desktop app uses a noticeable amount of system resources, which can slow down performance on older machines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For which purposes doDropbox solves the problem of easy and secure file access across multiple devices. It allows me to store, organize, and share files without worrying about data loss or version conflicts. With real-time sync, I can access updated documents from anywhere, which improves productivity and collaboration—especially when working remotely or with distributed teams. It also helps reduce email attachments by providing shareable links, making communication cleaner and more efficient.
