What do you dislike about the product?
One limitation I’ve noticed with Dropbox is that the pricing can feel a bit high compared to some alternatives, especially when additional storage is needed.
Also, while syncing is generally reliable, I’ve experienced occasional delays when working with larger files or frequent updates. It would be helpful if more advanced collaboration features were available directly within the platform instead of relying on external tools.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Dropbox, we relied on email and multiple tools to share files, which made it difficult to manage versions and keep everything organized. This was especially challenging when working on training materials and presentations with different team members.
With Dropbox, I’m able to store files in a central location, share them through links, and ensure everyone has access to the latest version. I use it as part of my workflow to manage and distribute training content, onboarding materials, and internal documents.
As a result, collaboration has become more streamlined, file management is more organized, and it has reduced the time spent on back-and-forth communication.

One drawback of Dropbox is that its free storage is fairly limited compared with other cloud services. On top of that, the paid plans can feel a bit pricey for the amount of storage you get. I’ve also noticed that syncing larger files can sometimes take a while, depending on the internet connection, which can be a little inconvenient.

The expanded storage capacity is also great because it doesn't occupy all the RAM or hard drive space on my personal device, and I can access it anywhere. I feel like the user interface is very user-friendly.

Reliable and Simple, but Facing Stiff Competition
What do you like best about the product?
I think Dropbox shines in its simplicity and reliability, particularly when seeking files across multiple devices without hassle. It's great for sharing large files by simply using a link, and the integration with tools like Microsoft Office and Google Drive makes collaboration smoother. I also like that Dropbox is very much straightforward and user-friendly, which makes it a great pick for teams. Its integration capabilities with tools like Slack and Trello enhance its functionality and streamline project management. When I first used it, it was really easy to set up and use, as all I had to do was sign up, and I could easily collaborate with my teammates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free plan on Dropbox is quite limited compared to competitors. You only get a small amount of storage, and sometimes handling large files feels slower compared to some competitors. A bit of speed optimization on that front wouldn't hurt. The collaboration features could be smarter. While it integrates with some tools, it's not as seamless for real-time document collaboration as some platforms like Google Workspace.
