A versatile and user-friendly cloud storage and file-sharing service that offers flexible access options, seamless synchronization, reliable performance, and competitive pricing
What is our primary use case?
I use it for personal file sharing.
What is most valuable?
I find the flexibility of accessing my data from anywhere to be a significant advantage. The various methods for accessing files, such as through mobile apps, online synchronization, and on a PC, are highly valuable.
What needs improvement?
One aspect that I believe could be enhanced is the family sharing feature. Currently, it permits up to five users, but for larger families, it would be beneficial to have a more flexible offering. It would be valuable if it offered an archival service that allows users to transfer active mailbox data into long-term storage. Such a feature would be beneficial for archiving and preserving data over extended periods.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using it for eight years now.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I would rate its stability capabilities ten out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
While I am impressed with the scalability aspect, I would like to emphasize the need for more scalability, especially for personal use. I would rate it eight out of ten.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have exclusively used Google Drive, including Google Apps for Business, and Dropbox.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup was straightforward.
What about the implementation team?
The initial setup involves configuring the settings, but beyond that, there's minimal maintenance required. Once you've set it up, there's not much in terms of ongoing configuration and upkeep. The vendor handles most of the maintenance tasks, so there's very little for us to do. The deployment time depends on internet latency, but it doesn't take more than half an hour to an hour.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I find their pricing to be fairly standard and competitive when compared to the rest of the market. The pricing is affordable for a range of businesses, from small to large. I would rate it eight out of ten.
What other advice do I have?
I would highly recommend it. Overall, I would rate it nine out of ten.

Great place to store files and then share them easily with anyone else. The files can remain safe, yet shared. Or, I can make the files editable by whoever I share them with. serves it's purpose
What do you like best about the product?
Pros: folders are easy to organize, and the platform is user friendly for those who aren't entirely computer literate. It is easy to share folders or files with others outside the organization (or restrict access), and there are plenty of plan options for your budget and the amount of space you need. It transfers large files without issue, and the cheapest option provides a substantial amount of data storage (2TB). As a person who used to save essays on a floppy disk, this is great!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the other process of inviting someone to join your dropbox - not to view/download, but to collaborate. The last time someone 'invited' me to their company dropbox, it was difficult to navigate my own files and theirs, and the login/dashboard defaulted to that company's files instead of my own every time I signed in. Also, much like everything else, prices keep going up, and while the free basic version (2GB) is very nice of them to offer, it is far less than what most people need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storage and file sharing! In my industry we frequently need to send batches of large files/folders to multiple parties at once, and this is a fast and secure way to do it.
