Effortless Insights, But Setup Has Some Hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of access to data and insights that Contentsquare provides, as it means more people in the business can make data-informed decisions. The speed to insight is fast, which is really helpful. I also appreciate its configurability, as it can be set up for various business contexts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Page mappings are a bit of a pain. I have some problems with zoning where I sometimes need to add unique ids. This is an unfortunate overhead in my context. Mappings can get complex with lots of exclusion rules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Contentsquare for quick access to page level engagement data, understanding key journeys, and investigating UX issues. It provides easy access to data and insights, making it easier for more people to make data-informed decisions quickly.
Useful analysis tool
What do you like best about the product?
Love the CS live plugin for super quick on page analysis, great that it has A/B testing analysis features too
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes find it too high level as URLs are grouped into pages, rather than seeing the journey in terms of which URL they went to next, it displays as a group of URLs, or page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us highlight where we need to optimise pages and journeys for our customers, allowing us to see opportunity and pain points. Using CS we have identified problem statements to take through to testing, therefore proving the benefit to any changes we make based on this data.
Helpful from a granular and big picture perspective.

Mapping, comparisons and journeys were all fascinating and helpful. The session replays were also insightful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot to learn and a lot of 'noise'. Not so much a fault of their programming or staff but rather a lot of data to parse and prioritize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User experience, search and checkout have been most helpful.
Great way to see how customers use the site

Seeing recordings of how customers interact on the site and seeing the rate of customers bouncing from certain pages

A lot to learn up front but worth it in the long run

The tool's speed sometimes is a little slow, depending on the data group you selected.

Great tool for insight
What do you like best about the product?
Contentsquare is an excellent tool for insight; we have found it helpful across several teams when we need to validate insights from our other analytics tools, it also gives a different perspective on customer behaviour and is also useful for performance testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are several modules, and sometimes it is challenging to keep up with the updates and features.

One of the best things is that Contentsquare has a wide range of use cases, and therefore isn't limited to a particular scenario.

What do you like best about the product?
Implementing ContentSquare, has given the team the ability to be reactive within the business and leverage these insights to make more informed business decisions regarding the customer journey across key touchpoints within the experience.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if Contentsquare could be more user-friendly regarding mappings. It would be good for the team to have folders so that our team can easily find their mappings. As the whole business uses Contentsquare, finding the correct mappings that the team has created and are needed for the day-to-day business can be difficult and time-consuming.

How much more interactive the data is to use and digest.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't automatically know what I want to do and create things for me ahead of wanting/needing them. So it doesn't monitor my behaviours to see what I may want/need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing the business to understand data at all levels.
Easy to use, fantastic insight and great support
What do you like best about the product?
Content Square is very intuitive and user-friendly. With a relatively small amount of training, it's easy to get the hang of the basics and uncover incredibly valuable insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to using Content Square is that, if you start an investigation without a clear view of what you're looking for and how to find it, it's very easy to fall down a rabbit hole and get lost in the data.

As a product manager for a design system team, I'm interested in how users interact with the components we create. Content Square makes it easy to see what is and isn't working as expected.
Perfect for A/B test analysis
What do you like best about the product?
I work in experimentation, and Contentsquare makes analysis of our A/B tests simple. The platform is very engaging and allows me to gather insights quickly, which are visually appealing and easy to digest. This makes sharing the data and insights with stakeholders and other team members who might not be familiar with digital tools easy.
I can get all the insights I need quickly and easily, which is especially useful when we're on a short timescale.

What do you dislike about the product?
Contentsquare can take some time to become familiar with, especially for users like myself who haven't used tools like CS before.
However, the CS University courses and the CS community have been a great help, and I now find myself using the tool with ease. I've also attended a number of live training courses held by Contentsquare which I found very valuable.

Contentsquare has helped with additional insights for our A/B tests. It allows us to see how users interact with our tests and helps us identify potential bugs or other issues.
