Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

What do you like best about the product?
I can access all my data from anywhere and can collaborate easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I haven't noticed any downsides; perhaps the only one is that I need administrator access to update it every month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can work together as a team from France and China at the same time.

What do you like best about the product?
That I can work with shotput pro and the way of connectivity is nice.

I think Lucid link is intuitive but probably it can have better menus.

Effortless Video Collaboration Like a Shared Hard Drive

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and of sharing content. It works just like a hard drive, so everyone knows how to use it. It's also fast with a decent internet connection, and there's so much that it helps with. It's great for transferring footage to editors and finishing projects when an editor is out of office or unavailable, plus it solves our long term storage needs. We had a tight deadline on a project and one of our editors was out, so we needed another editor to hop on and start the edit, and then the original editor was able to finish it. I also chose it for the cost and the amount of storage. The initial setup was incredibly easy, and we had assistance with every step.
What do you dislike about the product?
{"I find that sometimes the speed struggles with larger projects.","I've noticed that pinning doesn't always seem to work. I will pin footage, and it will still take a long time to load.","It can be annoying needing to make proxies for every project."}
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team uses LucidLink to edit and store video content. It solves transferring footage to editors, finishing projects when an editor is out or unavailable, and long-term storage. It's easy to use and share, works just like a hard drive, and is fast with a decent internet connection.

What do you like best about the product?
It gives our team the ability to have a well-organized and extensive archive that we can access remotely; this makes our work much easier and allows us to carefully store important material
What do you dislike about the product?
We can't access two Lucid Link accounts at the same time. Sometimes we need to cross-reference information between the client and the company, but they have their own Lucid Link account and we have ours. Having to log out, log back in just to select what we need, and then log back into the main account wastes valuable project development time

Access to files—not having to rely on the hard drive capacity of the team members—is wonderful

What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink streamlines the communication between our team members. We can review each other's work, learn from one another, and pick up the slack if anyone gets into a pickle. The server integration with the Mac's finder program is super intuitive and works seamlessly with our programs. The pinning feature makes internet speed practically a non-issue when traveling, and the performance is super reliable. Even when Lucid was down I reached out to a representative and was helped immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most difficult part about LucidLink is needing reliable internet when your assets aren't pinned. But with a good ssd and regular pinning habits you can largely avoid this issue. Although the price is expensive, I do feel that being charged by the amount of storage used is a fair practice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink helps us collaborate more which makes all our work rise. It also makes it really easy to pass projects off from one team member to the next. It's also a great way to share assets. In the past we spent so much time uploading and downloading that it was practically impossible to pass a project along, but now it is as simple as closing it on my end and letting my teammate open it on theirs. Infinitely faster.
