Pricing Examples

  • Example 1: Single Feature (2-Hour Event)

  • Example 1: Single Feature — For a 2-Hour Live Event 

    A customer runs a 2-hour live sports broadcast and enables Smart Cropping to automatically generate vertical (9:16) video OR Smart Subtitles in US East1 N. Virginia Region. 
       
    Single-pipeline channel (e.g., MediaLive with a single pipeline): 
    $0.15/min × 120 minutes = $18.00 
       
    Standard (dual-pipeline) MediaLive channel: 
    A Standard MediaLive channel uses two encoding pipelines for redundancy. Elemental Inference features are applied to each pipeline independently, so the cost doubles: 
    $0.15/min × 120 minutes × 2 pipelines = $36.00 

  • Example 2: Two Features (2-Hour Event)

  • Example 2: Two Features — Smart Cropping + Clip Events for a 2-Hour Event 

    A customer enables both Smart Cropping and Clip Event Generation on a 2-hour NBA game. They get vertical video output and automatic highlight timestamps simultaneously in US East1 N. Virginia Region. 
       
    Elemental Inference reuses video analysis across features; the two-feature rate ($0.23/min) is lower than using each feature separately ($0.15 × 2 = $0.30/min) — a 23% effective discount. 
       
    Single-pipeline channel: 
    $0.23/min × 120 minutes = $27.60 
       
    Standard (dual-pipeline) MediaLive channel: 
    $0.23/min × 120 minutes × 2 pipelines = $55.20
